Good company, I would use them again. B instead of A just due to the poor quoting process and they don't take credit cards. They quoted via email without coming out to look at the driveway (all the other quotes I received were detailed and dropped off at our house), so I had assumed they looked at an aerial view at least. I went with them because that price was better than the others. When they came to do they work they informed me it would be quite a bit more than the quote since the driveway was bigger than they expected (since they hadn't looked at it). I went with them anyways since they were there and the price was still in the middle of the other 4-5 smaller local companies I talked to, and a lot better than some of the typical overpriced big name companies. The work was good, and I would definitely use them again to re-seal the driveway in upcoming years.

After getting a proposal from a company not listed on Angie's List I contacted Dave. He responded offering to do the work for the same price. He completed the work on time and as scheduled. This is the second time we had our driveway coated and his work was superior to our last contractor. There were no spills or coating on our home exterior which was the case the first time.

We had significant damage to the driveway where it meets the street. We had 4 large tanker trucks of water delivered (22,000 gallons in all) for our new pool. The first tanker truck came onto the asphalt driveway and crushed and cracked and heaved up the end of the driveway where it meets the street. Using Angie's List I found Dave of Seal Coating Plus. He came out promptly and estimated the job. Many companies in his business have flat fee structures with minimum project prices from a minimum of $1000 to up to a minimum of $2000-$3000. Dave has been in the business for almost 20 years (I believe), and knows exactly what to do and how to do it right - top notch. He quoted $800 and other quotes were higher. We agreed he was hired. In less than a few days he squeezed the repair in as we were ready to have our first open house for selling our Orono home in a week or so!! Wonderful job! We have had repairs done to the driveway before, and they didn't compare to the quality of Dave's work. Dave is a real pleasure to work with, takes the time to talk & share, very responsive, and he takes his business reputation for quality/fair-pricing/ethical-dealings very seriously. Dave was awesome! I explained to him over the phone was was going on. He explained to me that this was a common problem because of how houses in my area were built. He told me what would be the best fix and why and quoted me an estimate over the phone. He was patient with me and kept my best interests in mind not only from a budget perspective but also to ensure I really got the best fix needed so I would not be calling him again anytime soon. He called and schedule a time, explained exactly what would happen. he was on time, cheerful and did a great job. I would definitely use him again.

Dave and his crew seal coated and crack filled our driveway on May 28th. All I can say is OUTSTANDING!! They were very thorough and punctual. Our driveway is just over 11,000 sq ft and the price was great! I would recommend SealCoating Plus to anyone who needs this service!

My driveway looks so much better now! They did the edging, cleaned and put on the sealcoating. No extra costs involved which was nice. (Makes shoveling much easier now too.)

We set up a date and they had to reschedule. They didn't contact us when they were coming to give us notice but they did a great job.

We remodel and resell homes and had a 3200 SF driveway needing crack repair and sealing on relatively short notice and near the end of the season. We contacted several providers to get quotes, and many others indicated they would\could not schedule an appointment. Dave at SealCoat Plus returned my call promptly, explained the potential risks of coating when temperatures were near the minimum recommended level, scheduled time to do the quote and provided any opening on their schedule when the weather was forecasted to be most conducive to coat the driveway. A few days prior to the appointment, he recontacted me to adjust the appointment due to a change in the weather forecast to ensure we had the best opportunity to do a successful coating. The job was done on time and for the price quoted and really looked great! I was impressed particularly with the crack repair, every single one was identified and completely filled. The driveway looked as new as an older driveway could look. All our subs were also surprised at the transformation that really completed the exterior remodel. Dave's price was very reasonable for such a large driveway that could easily hold 10+ cars. I will definitely be contacted SealCoat Plus again for our next project with an asphalt driveway.

It went well! They were very easy to work with, were true to their word, and did whatever was needed to make sure the job turned out well. They actually gave me a good discount and I was happy with the outcome. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to other people.

They were extremely effecient and did a nice job. There was no overspray into existing areas, as I have seen with other jobs. We had a weather delay from the first scheduled visit, but they they communicated in a timely manner when they would try coming again. Fortunately the second time was a charm :-)

Price was somewhat more than the BIG DEAL base price because our driveway was larger than the allotted square footage. We were informed of that before the work began & we were satisfied. All went well except that our mail carrier walked around our sidewalk barrier to go straight across the newly blacktopped driveway!!

i called and left a voice mail for dave, and he called me back that evening to set up my appointment. Unfortunately it rained that whole week so he was unable to do the work. But he showed up the following monday morning and did the driveway. He cleaned all the edges and the driveway and then sealed it. The driveway looks like it is new. I am very pleased with the result, and will definitely use him again.

Everything went great. Dave was very responsive over email and very professional. The crew came while I was at work and everything looked great when I got home. Would recommend in the future.

My driveway is wide and almost half a block long. Two people were doing the job and it took them about an hour. It has turned out excellent. They were right on time and they were reasonable. They used good materials.

After over 2 years of no re-sealcoating, we shopped around a bit and ended up buying the Big Deal through Angie's List. We were originally scheduled to have our driveway seal coated about a week out. It ended up raining the day of the scheduled service (Thursday) and we hadn't received any communication until that night at 8:20 pm. Luckily, my husband happened to check his email and saw an email from Dave asking if the following day (Friday) would be ok. My husband quickly responded and said that would NOT work for us and offered any date for the following week. Friday afternoon rolled around and Dave and another guy showed up and they started weed whacking the edges of the driveway. I ran out to see why there were there and said we didn't want it done that day. Dave muttered "stupid people" under his breath/loudly with his ear muffs on. I ignored that and said "my husband emailed you back and said today wouldn't work." Dave assumed we had emailed him Friday while he was already out and about. He was pretty rude until my husband came outside. We worked it out that Dave didn't have our phone number through the Angie's List Big Deal and it was his first time trying it. We said if he could wait, we would get our cars situated for the afternoon/evening and weekend and they could perform the work. Dave said they could do another job nearby and come back later. They came back a couple hours later and got the job done while we were gone. Price was right, but experience wasn't worth the hassle.

Went well. Seal coating Plus showed up on time and went right to work. The driveway had not been taken care of or seal coated for some time. They removed the vegetation growing in the cracks and cleaned the entire driveway. They filled the cracks with hot asphalt and then applied a high solids sealer that won't wash off after the first rain. After they were done they installed barrier tape to keep vehicles and people off the driveway for 24 hours.

We own a travel trailer that would have had to be moved to another location for the project. I contacted Dave to let him know we would be leaving for a trip with the travel trailer and he agreed to arrive a little later the day of departure to complete the job.
