Some were small areas, one was redoing an area where a door was removed, and some areas needed larger drywall cut to fit. Steve and his worker were very efficient and actually got to almost every thing on my long list. Am looking forward to their return to do some more drywall repair (need to empty a room and garage first), and some trim work (woodwork and stair retro-treads installed).

I think it's fixed, but I can still see where the crack was.

The man working was extremely professional and hardworking. He did quality work and worked very quickly to do as much as possible within the 4 hour coupon. Exceeded expectations. I am hiring this company again for some additional interior work.

They came in an assessed the situation. The 3 hour special was quickly used as this house had lots of cracks. I hired them to do additional work on walls and ceilings. They performed the work the next day and all went well. I appreciated that they instructed me to perform the same repairs on the small cracks in the walls.

We had purchased an Angie's List deal for 60 linear feet of crown molding. Steve Scheftel was prompt, informative and was open to schedule. We decided to do our entire main floor and it looks fabulous. He did call in a different installer, but we have no complaints. The gentleman was courteous, nice and very thorough. All costs were very clear up front. our only issue is that they did not use all of the materials, so instead of taking them and giving us a discount (for actual goods used), they left the materials. I guess that's fine, we got what we paid for, but now we have crown molding laying around.

I had a few areas on the exterior of my house that needed repair and the guy that Scheftel sent got right to work and actually was able to repair more areas than I was expecting. I would recommend this service for an older home that needs patching. The one thing to be aware of is that the repairs required follow up to prep the areas for painting. That was not included in the work. But again, I was very happy with how much was able to get completed in the 4 hours.

I haven't been able to make an appt because they are so rigid that u can ONLY call to try to make an appt at 8:30 and that doesn't work for me. They are not flexible and not customer friendly. I have beenunable to use the deal I paid for. I wish never spent my money!

I was not really impressed. It was difficult to schedule. I am disappointed that it took 4 hours to replace just one section of wood. Clean up was not done, including flinging caulk onto my plants. The repair looks fine, but I was pretty surprised that it took that long. That included an apparent trip to home depot for supplies that he didn't come prepared with.

Tim arrived on time and ready to get started, he had a couple of questions for the owner (Steve Sheftel) before he started but got to work right away. Mr. Scheftel showed up on the job site shortly there after, both jobs were completed to my satisfaction. They repaired two sizable areas were the plaster had cracked and fallen from the wall. One hole was repaired with plaster the other and larger hole with sheet rock. The repairs were made in an unfinished basement so the way they were repaired was fine. The holes were unsightly. The molding install has mead the bedroom much nicer old trim were terrible. My house was built in 1924 and repairs seem constant and can be expensive. These two deals completed by Scheftel were a good bargain! They were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of my home, that is extremely important to me. I look forward to having Scheftel Construction do some additional work.

He did a great job! Showed up on time, completed the job in the timeframe he said he would and cleaned up after. Very professional.

They were good. My mother was happy with the work.

He smoothed out all the damaged areas mentioned above and also around two windows and about 8 screws that were sticking out. So he actually did more than I had asked him to do. All I had to do to finish the project was light sanding before painting.

They on time for first contact, had everything they needed and got right to work. Repaired the ceiling and made all of the chipped paint match. Came back on second day to finish and were a little early but it was fine. Finished the muddling and sanding and lef me with a lovely bathroom to paint. Thanks for meeting all of my expectations as a first time user. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them in a future project.

The service was ok and took a day to complete the job.

Steve picked up the bannisters in June 2014 (to take to his shop) and reinstalled the bannisters in March 2015...way too long for a project that was promised for early-Summer -- particularly since I needed to chase him to come back at all, and then chase him again to finish the installment In March that he started in January. I am afraid I was the equivalent of the table in a busy restaurant that gets no service.

They contacted me the first business day after I responded to an Angie's special promotion. The project was scheduled for the following week. Mark arrived a half hour early to begin the job because the morning's snow didn't slow the traffic as much as he thought it would. Although he was prepared to wait until the scheduled time, I invited him in and showed him what I wanted fixed up. He was courteous and amiable, listening to my request and inspecting the situation carefully. Then he went to work getting all the materials from his truck. He protected the work areas and proceeded quietly to complete all three tasks. When he was done, he asked me to inspect the work. I was very pleased with the workmanship and the cleanliness of the work areas. He gave me some suggestions on removing the old wall paper in one of the bedrooms. Because he completed the work in a little under the time allowed in the special, he didn't charge me for the materials he provided to patch the holes in the walls. All in all, I was very pleased with the entire encounter with this provider. I'll certainly consider them for further work.

It didn’t turn out as ideal as I thought it would have been. I just found someone else to finish the job. They finished half the job and said that they needed additional hours. It was not what we agreed upon and so I terminated labor with them. The quality of work was fine but the speed was not good. Their responsiveness was pretty good.

they were good - prompt friendly efficient very reasonably priced - always got back to us soon when we would call him with a question would use them again if needed - we got one estimate of $1600.00 (maybe that guy did not want the small job we had) very, very pleased with them.

Did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, perfect !

Steve reached out right away and setting up an appointment was quick and easy. Steve showed up for the appointment early and went right to work after I showed him the work I wanted done. He worked quickly and was respectful of the fact I was working from home to the point I almost forgot he was there. Finally, he made sure to clean up completely.

It went very well. The carpenter was very professional. The only think we did not expect was for the work to take two days. On the first day he spent about 4 hours doing the interior work, then cut through to the outside on the second day and actually installed the window. It was just one more day of inconvenience, but it went extremely well otherwise.
