Scheftel construction did a great job!!! they patched the ceiling and painted the room...you can't see where the patch started... perfect job.

Everything was fine. He came out when he was scheduled and left when the work was done.

They did a great job. They went past the price because we needed them for more than those hours which was fine because we expected that. There were some spots that afterwards that were delayed in change so we kind of wish were had been touched up but they did pretty good overall. They were really nice guys and easy to work with. They were really fast which was awesome. They were fair and fairly priced.

I purchased a Big Deal for four hours of wood rot repair for $149. Steve was very busy when I called to book his service, and we scheduled out more than a month, but he arrived as scheduled (actually a little bit early), and he and his assistant accomplished quite a lot in the four hour time window. After reviewing the work to be done, Steve clarified if I wanted him to only finish what he could in four hours, or if I was comfortable going over that time. Although I told him we could go over if needed, they finished all of the work in four hours, which included a trip to Menards to get materials for the areas which needed to be replaced instead of repaired. The repairs look great, and I feel much more confident now going into winter without all of those gaps in the woodwork.

Set appointment with Steve. He came out and reviewed project. Steve arrived as scheduled and completed half the project. Mark arrived early the next day and completed the project be one. Good work and brought the right materials. Fair price.

Steve arrived on Time, got the job done, cleaned up all the old boards. He did great work.

Took a while to get it scheduled, he was busy from an Angie's List deal. Arrived on time, worked steadily, very efficiently, professionally completed and cleaned up completely.

It went great. I was very happy with the work. I will be using the company for more work this year.

I contacted Steve for an estimate about a week prior. He phoned me and was able to slip my job in early the very next week. We had an old window that had been leaking water for years into the siding. The underlying sheathing was completely rotted out and the cedar shingles were hanging on by a thread. Steve showed up with a crew of three (including himself) in the morning and got the job done early and under-budget around 2:30pm. I came out to observe a couple times and was very happy with the attention paid to detail and the great craftsmanship. They took the time to properly remove all the rot and to replace the building materials properly. They put down a tarp under the job site and cleaned up absolutely everything after they were done (a first for me with any exterior contractor). I'll certainly be using Scheftel Construction for some additional work and recommend them to everyone else!!

Contacted vendor through Angie's list. Steve contacted me within 24 hours and came out next morning to see ceiling and provide estimate. I then purchased a coupon for $240 for 4hours work. Steve contacted me the next business day and we set up time for repair. He and colleague were prompted and prepared and actually got the job done in 3 hours. Finished job looks fantastic and I'd recommend Scheftel Construction to others who need work. We are also looking at doing some molding work in some other rooms and I'm told these guys are great at matching existing work.

This is the 3rd time I have worked with Steve. He was professional and skilled in making repairs to our home. I have no complaints and would use his services again.

Thingswent just fine. Mr. Scheftel first inspected the exterior of my house and the steps and gave me an estimate. The work was done efficiently and well. I am very pleased with the work Mr. Scheftel and his crew provided.

Sheftel was very busy and couldn't come out for a few weeks. Luckily we were not in a hurry. Results were excellent and at a lower price than we had ever paid for similar service in the past

The job went well, Mr. Scheftel was on time for the job. We discussed our original plan which was to replace the rotted wood around the exterior of the garage facing. Mr Scheftel recommended that what was needed was not replacing but scraping and painting the wood not replacing it. Since neither was prepared for that work I asked Mr. Scheftel if he would replace the garage entry door instead, I had all the material on hand. He did a great job and I would certainly hire his services again.

Great---This job was a challenge getting past the large washer and dryer, sink, water softener and sump pump to the wall to do the work! Also, there were a lot of holes to cut in the sheetrock due to all the appliance vents to the outside through the wall. The installer had a positive attitude and did a good job. He was energetic and worked hard to get the job done in the 3 hour time span! Much appreciated!

I would not use them again in the future. It was a good price. I just wasn't super impressed.

I bought a $99 big deal for three hours of handyman service and it was good, excellent. They are finishing up some other work for me right now. I called them back because I had more things I found. They were really quick and did excellent work.

They are very experienced and treat me very good. They are courteous. I have had four or five different workers and have had he, himself, come out. Each of them has been very professional. I think their price is reasonable.

Steve and Christopher did a great job. In one day they took care of a century's worth of wear and rotting by replacing or repairing 6 windowsills in our condo. It was challenging to find someone even willing to consider the job, because it's a 3rd story unit, and we weren't interested in complete window replacement. These guys were able to cut out the rotted wood, replace it with good new wood and epoxy to fill between the pieces, all from inside the unit - no ladders or cherry pickers required. I really appreciated Steve's willingness to take the job, and inventiveness in how he approached it. The cost was well worth it, and far less than if we had needed to resort to full window replacement.

He arrived on-time. Handled patching of the wall pretty quickly. The ceiling had bowed from the water leakage, plus covered with popcorn. He re-secured the ceiling to the joists, painted and patched as needed. The difficulty was dealing with a popcorn ceiling and trying to make the repair blend in. That was a difficult task and not 100% successful, but certainly much improved over the staining and sagging of the ceiling board.

Great! Steve came, looked over the job, asked when he had questions and got right to work. The job took almost exactly 3 hours and looks great. I would have appreciated a call the day before letting me know when he planned to come, but as it turned out, when I called him, Steve was able to come within the hour. Nice going!

He arrived 15 minutes early which was fine. He worked quickly. The wall patches were fine, but I was disappointed with the pathing doen on the ceiling. Maybe I didn't make myself clear that I wanted the ceiling redone.

Although we bought the deal in July 2014, the work couldn't get scheduled until the very end of September which was a disappointment. However, once Scheftel was able to come to our house, the crew did a great job. We had them repair and replace several rotting window sills, and they were able to paint the new ones. The end result was a much cleaner look around the exterior of our house. We have second-story sills with similar issues and I wouldn't hesitate to use Scheftel again.

They contacted me right away to set up a time to come out and look at the area in need of repair. This visit was at no cost. The appointment was set for a little bit further out, due to the owner being busy but that was ok w me. The date of the work being done I had forgotten about it, but he showed up and got right to work on it. He did a great job replacing the rotten trim and even painted the area so I could later paint it to match the rest of the house trim. We were very happy with the work.

It took us awhile to find a time where both of our schedules worked together but we planned 6 weeks out and he was here exactly on time, even a bit early. Steve does fantastic work. I am very pleased.
