I placed a call to request a service, and upon stating my name, the individual responded with a hesitant tone and lowered their voice in an unprofessional manner. Furthermore, when I provided my address, they reacted in a similarly unprofessional manner, suggesting that the service would be excessively costly for someone of my background (as a Latino residing in the western part of the city) to afford. Additionally, despite being aware of the prevailing rates offered by competitors, they proposed rescheduling the service for a later date, accompanied by an exorbitant and unfavorable pricing scheme. Essentially, they outright declined to provide the service. I express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with this entire experience, as it yielded no favorable outcome.

Sabre has the worst customer service. When I called them yesterday to ask for a status of my service request, their customer service said and I quote "I don't want to deal with you. Good Bye" and hung up Unbelievably worst customer service I have ever experienced. Easily corrected work done by another HVAC company that had two months before done an inspection special, then checked out other costly corrections recommended by this other company. None of those corrections were necessary. One of the recommended corrections was fixed without extra cost by our Sabre technician.

The price was decent from what I remember. They’ve deal with our air conditioning, they’ve dealt with our plumbing and everything that they have done, they’ve done wonderful. If there was a matter, I would absolutely use them again. There is nothing they could do better, they are great.

We actually use them for both heat and air conditioning. I have no idea of the cost. They do a quality job, and they came out in a timely manner. Their ability in which they could put me into their schedule. The communication is good.

Sabre wants me to pay for them to fix their poor work. They were paid to install it, did it improperly, and want to be paid again. They should stand behind their work. If I have to pay, I will find somebody else.
Description of Work: I purchased a home in 2014 in which Sabre had done all plumbing. Prior to this past week, my sump pump had never run. This changed due to the heavy rains. It turned out that the PVC pipe running from the sump pump was not properly sealed and now water leaks in my basement whenever the sump pump runs.

After hearing that the neighbors in our development needed their original furnaces replaced during the previous two winters, I thought I should be proactive and get ours replaced before getting surprised in the winter. I had used Sabre for an install at a previous residence years ago, so I contacted them in addition to other 6 contractors representing various brands of heating and cooling equipment. I am a pragmatic buyer, so I wasn't looking for a big sales pitch. I was looking for enough information to make my decision, and a competitive price. I found Peter (from Sabre) was responsive, informative, and competitive. The install went well also. The installer was professional and was accommodating in answering my questions on the new system.

After selling our home during the inspection it was found to have so air flow issues. We had used Sabre a couple of years before to install our air and furnace and had been very pleased with the service and price. We immediately called them. We spoke to Peter and explained that we were under the gun to have the repairs done in time to close. He was out the next day! He looked things over and told us they could take care of the issues. Tim and Adam arrived at our house the next business day and went right to work. While one was in the attic the other was in the lower level replacing the fresh air duct. In less then an hour they had the whole thing done! The Realtor arrived just as they were finishing. They explained what they did and left a receipt with a detailed description of their work. It was just what we needed to close on our house. Thank you Peter, Tim and Adam for everything you did to make this happen!
Description of Work: replaced fresh air duct , inspected attic and repaired areas that warm air was leaking into attic.

Sabre Plumbing has been excellent responding to two HVAC issues last year and a plumbing related issue performed under warranty on 8/21/2015. The repairmen arrived at the promised time, they performed the work quickly and effectively, resolving the problem. While they are supposed to provide a 5 yr warranty on parts and 2 yr warranty on service, they are unwilling to provide the parts warranty, as they are contracted to do, under their contract with Pulte. The foot of the water heater broke off the water heater. This is simply a plastic foot that normally would cost under $10. While they are supposed to provide me the plastic foot as covered under the warranty, they will not provide it to me, unless I schedule their company to come out and install it for $90. $90 to put a foot on the bottom of the furnace is ludicrous. Any monkey can install this foot onto the water heater. I am going to notify Pulte so that they can reconsider who they use for the future. Do not use these guys. Terrible service!!!

Customer wanted us to replace a part under warranty without looking at it. We would have replaced the part under warranty with a minimal labor charge and if we determined it was in install issue, there would have been no charge at all. Without looking at the problem, we simply cannot give parts away under warranty. Customer refused to have us out to look at the problem.

I called Sabre to see if they could address the problem. While I was initially told that they would send a service tech at no charge, when the scheduler called me back, that position was reversed by the plumbing master. According to the scheduler, they don't do anything, ever, to insulate the pipes they install. Even in Minnesota, where that should be a given. And so they could send a service tech, but it wouldn't be for a week and it would be billable.
Description of Work: Update: after researching this issue further, I discovered that the previous homeowner had purchased non-standard equipment, which Sabre had installed. Although I am still dissatisfied with their office's response, I believe they did the best they could on the original installation and don't hold them responsible for the icing issues that ensued. Sabre installed a new master bath for previous homeowners of the house we just bought. The work included a new shower, tub, two sinks and toilet, and on the surface, everything looks great. However, we had frozen pipes on the first sub-zero day, and upon inspection, it turns out that the pipes under the floor - next to an exterior wall - were never insulated. As a result, anytime the temperatures dip below zero, there is no water to the sinks or toilet.

I had initially had them out for a furnace tune-up and they diagnosed that the unit needed to be replaced. They price was good compared to the other estimates I had received. They completed the job in about two days and cleaned up well. It was a good experience.

The job took about two and a half to three months on the job and they cleaned up well. They were responsive and did a good job. However, I felt that the communication could have been better on what materials they were going to use for the job. They were good with all of the work that they did. Overall, it turned out well.

They sent someone out last week- the technician came out when no one was home (we had given the code to enter our home). When he came out he saw the heating running - did not find a problem and so didn't 'fix' anything. Unfortunately did not leave a note for us. When I called Sabre 5 days after this event, they did not know what the technician did either (as the technician's iPad was not working and he had not submitted his report) The same thing happened today- 5 days after the first event (Fan working but no heat). They sent a different technician out (who did have the information that the previous technician didn't find anything). This technician spent some time on the furnace and figured out that the furnace had 'tripped'. Was not able to tell us why. Kept saying that 'something' was limiting the flow of air. Kept inquiring about the filters we use. Told us that sometimes this happens if the filters are not changed (Couldn't tell me why it happened today even though we had a brand new filter placed 5 days ago). Couldn't tell me why the furnace didn't reset itself Wasn't able to tell me if something like this would happen again or not (If he didn't know why the furnace didn't reset- he couldn't tell me how to fix it) Overall I found the technician to be of poor quality. Would not recommend using them if you have to pay for this service. Currently I have no choice since my furnace is under warranty with them

I had an unfortunate experience with Sabre - specifically the sales person handling my request. I was referred to Sabre by a friend who had used them for a water heater installation, so I thought I would use them for my water heater as well. The office personal was friendly, no complaints there. I was connected to Peter in sales via email. It started off poorly when he wouldn't explain the quote - no details about what it included, what brand of unit, etc. I had to ask several questions and would get brief responses. He never acknowledged my referral and when I asked him 3 separate times about why the work was for mine was going to be $265 more than my friends (she lives in the same unit I do), he never responded. There could have been a legimate explanation - I just wanted to understand. He seemed disorganized; I sent several emails that were either lost or went without response. I booked my appt two weeks in advance and sent several photos of my unit as requested. Even though I was not feeling great about the sales end of this process, I still wanted to keep my appt. because my friend said they did such a great installation job. Yesterday morning, one day prior to my appt, I received a note from Peter that he just looked at the photos and that they couldn't do the job today (well, the appt was for today but whatever) and would need to special order the water heater. Super disappointing. Anyway, I cancelled my order and am now going with a different company.

I have used them before. They are very competitively priced and are much lesser than other comparable companies. They provide very good service and are very prompt. They got the job done right and billed me correctly. There wasn’t any problem. Their prices were very good.
Description of Work: I used Sabre Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning to put an electrostatic filter on my furnace. They also redid some of the sheet metal work on my forced air system.

Technician called about 1pm and said he could stop by between jobs. Arrived 15 mins later. Checked over furnace,sorted out a faulty flame sensor, gave furnace a quick check over, a clean and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Very helpful and professional. Would use again and reccommend.
Description of Work: Furnace was cutting out over weekend, finally shut down completely. Called Sabre today at 12.10pm, very polite receptionist said they were fully booked for today but would try and get me in as a last call.
