S R MECHANICAL INC

I've had really great service done by this company, I've used them 3-4 times in the past few years. Right after I bought my house I had issues with my furnace shutting off frequently in the winter. I had two other companies come out to "fix" it, spent a ton of money, and the issue persisted. S&R came out and immediately knew the issue, fixed it, and I've had no problems since. They've always been able to fit me in their schedule within 24 hrs when the issue has been an emergency. I will say, I agree with the other review on here that their service and communication isn't the best, they definitely seem disorganized. They are borderline rude on the phone every time I call, but I continue to use them since they've done a great job and I trust them. Regarding cost, I'm not sure how they compare since I've been willing to pay whatever they charge me since they do the job right the first time, but I have been frustrated that they charge me for drive time to go pick up parts when their office is only a few miles from my house, that shouldn't cost me an hour's worth of labor. Summary, I will probably continue to use them since I trust their work, but then again, now that I have an Angie's List account I might start looking else ware...

Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any company that I have ever had to deal with. There is absolutely zero communication in this company. When we had our furnace installed, a pipe didn't get glued downproperly, and we had water seeping under the walls from the furnace. Someone came out to fix it, and I told them about the carpet being sopping wet, and he said that he would talk to TJ (the manager..?) about it. But I guess that message didn't make it back to TJ either. When I told TJ, he said this was all my fault because I didn't call him directly. I just don't know of any professional business that would use words like that to their customers. The inspection was not done for ~6 months, and when I called them out on that, they accused me of not returning their phone calls. I can't even tell you how many times I left messages for TJ, but I guess there is no communication between the receptionist and TJ either. The most recent phone conversation was by far the most unprofessional conversation I've ever had with a "business". I've never known a businessman to raise his voice and tell a customer that it's all their fault that the furnace wasn't installed properly and inspected within a timely manner. Also, it looks like TJ reviewed his own business on Google. Tacky.
