Description of Work: I was having hardwood floors installed in my home, so I needed to have 2 appliances, and 3 pieces of furniture moved a short distance within my home (out of the kitchen & dining room while the work was done, and then later moved back into the appropriate rooms). It took the movers I ended up using to do the work 30 minutes. I did not use Ruth Piano Movers because they charged $150 an hour, and had a two-hour minimum. Therefore, to move the furniture out it would have cost $300, and to move the furniture back in, it would have cost an additional $300. With another mover, it cost me $200 in total.

+ -1 moreThe guys were so fantastic with my piano moves I asked if they could move my whole house when that was needed. They were terrific. They called when they said they would, arrived on time, were professional, friendly, efficient, estimated correctly on time and cost and made polite suggestions when I was too busy to notice I was about to make a big mistake! I'd hire them in an instant and recommend them strongly.
Description of Work: Moved my piano three times and my entire household once.

+ -1 moreTHE TWO-MAN CREW WERE IN AND OUT QUICKLY. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT. THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE AT THE COMPANY WAS VERY PLEASANT. I CALLED ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE THE MOVE AND SWITCHED THE DAY I WANTED THE PIANO MOVED FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY AND THEY WERE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE THAT WITHOUT PROBLEM. I GRADED THEM "B" ON PRICE BECAUSE THEY MOVED THE PIANO SO QUICKLY THAT I THOUGHT $150 WAS A LITTLE MUCH FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME THE JOB TOOK.

+ -1 moreSERVICE WAS OK. I HAD THE PIANO MOVED ON A SATURDAY. THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE A VERY CLOSE TIME ESTIMATE FOR ARRIVAL UNTIL THE DAY OF THE MOVE. THE PRICE WASN'T THE CHEAPEST I FOUND, BUT THEY WERE ABLE TO DO IT ON A SATURDAY WITHIN THE TIME FRAME I NEEDED, SO I WENT WITH THEM.

THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME 30 MINUTES BEFORE HAND AND I ASKED IF THEY COULD CALL ME 45 MINUTES BEFORE HAND. THEY AGREED, AND CALLED ME AT WORK AND WHEN I ARRIVED AT HOME THEY WERE WAITING FOR ME. OVERALL, I THOUGHT IT WAS EASY TO DEAL WITH THE COMPANY AND THAT THEY DID A GOOD, FAST JOB.

+ -1 moreTHE TEAM CALLED 1/2 HOUR BEFORE THEY ARRIVED AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. IN ADDITION TO THE PIANO, I ASKED THEM IF THEY COULD MOVE A VERY LARGE PIECE OF FURNITURE DOWNSTAIRS. THEY SAID NO PROBLEM AND I EXPECTED THEY WOULD WANT SOME ADDITIONAL MONEY, BUT THEY JUST SAID HAVE A NICE DAY. OF COURSE I PAID THEM FOR THE EXTRA WORK ANYWAY.
Description of Work: I CALLED THE TOP THREE ON ANGIE'S LIST AND THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST. THEY HAD NO PROBLEM DELIVERING THE PIANO ON A SATURDAY.
