Well. Brady, the owner, did the estimate, and pointed out that the existing units were still ,working. I decided to spend the money now instead of waiting until; the A/C quit in August or the furnace died in February. The new units were installed 10 days later, very neatly, and the old equipment hauled out. Installers, who, were pleasant to deal with, came back the next day to install a new thermostat and check functioning. This was in April. Had one minor problem with getting someone to recheck the heat pump and fill out the paperwork for an efficiency rebate from Connexus, our electric utility; misfired on communication a couple times, but did get someone here to take care of that.

They take care of the unit and they are always excellent.

Excellent. Company sent a bidder over at my convenience. Had done work for the previous owner of the house for 20+ years and had hired them back repeatedly for various work. Hometown feel; personable. Repeat business model was apparent.

All work was exceptional. Royalton did a comprehensive site review, and a detailed bid with 3 optional solutions and prices. Over the course of two days they removed the old furnace completely, ran new wiring, built new ducting, plumbed in new air intake/exhaust pipes, installed new furnace and tested, sited new exterior compressor/fan (final integration of the air-conditioning to be completed after warmer weather arrives). Both professionals they sent out were punctual, personable, quiet, experienced, productive folks. They clearly took pride in their work, and were willing to be interrupted if/when I had questions. They also made a point to ask me for direction whenever they had to make a decision unique to this installation (e.g. location of the hot-air exhaust pipe, location of the exterior compressor/pad). Royalton is a class act.

My A/C started leaking late on a Fri. night. I was able to abtain an appt. for Monday at 9 AM. I should mention that I live in a town house unit and and the leak can cause floor damage as well as leaking into a neighbors garage area, thus the A/C could not be used. The repairman looked at the issue, felt he had repaired it telling me to keep an eye on it. I was informed by my neighbor at 3PM that it was leaking again. I called for a return visit, and I was extemely frustrated and knew the heat would be unbearable - well over 90 with high humidity. The gentleman I spoke with remained very polite and professional, as I really wanted a return call yet that day he told me it was doubtful but would call back in an hour. He did, however they couldn't come until the following day. The repairman arrived promptly at 9 AM as scheduled. It was determined that the hose was blocked but by some type of material that expanded with moisture and that was why they couldn't detect it on Monday.

The serviceman came a little early for the appointment. He was very polite and courteous and spoke in language I could understand. I felt the price was very reasonable. I have used this business before many years ago and was please to see their service had not changed.

My family and I had two separate, terrible experiences with Royalton. Royalton installed a new furnace and duct work in our previous house just before we purchased it. The blower motor gave out three months before the warranty expired. Despite the fact that the motor was clearly covered by the warranty and that it failed within the warranty period, it still took Royalton over a year and a half to reimburse us for the motor we were forced to purchase on the twenty degree below zero morning in which it gave out. Even then, we had to call the motor's distributor ourselves and then instruct Royalton (twice!) on what they needed to do to invoke the warranty coverage. And it STILL took 18 months to get reimbursed. The second instance came when we went to sell our house. The inspection revealed that some venting ductwork to the outside was never completed as it was supposed to have been. On the advice of the general contractor, we asked Royalton to come and finish it. Three different times we set up appointments for them to come out and each time, they failed to show up. When they finally did, not surprisingly, they denied responsibility for the error. Thankfully, our general contractor agreed to do it, provided we pay for the material. How this company remains in business given its deplorable customer services is one of life's great mysteries.

The service was excellent, they were timely, and the quality seems good. The workers were friendly.

I'm a repeat customer and have found them overall to be more competent than other services I've used in the past. They're responsiveness is excellent to any of my needs that arise. I'll use them in the future and highly recommend them to others!

POLITE, EFFICIENT, GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL. SLIGHTLY LATE ON INSTALLATION. THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE AND WE HAD RECEIVED GOOD REFERENCES FROM OTHERS WHO HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM.

WHEN THEY LEFT I ASKED THEM TWICE IF THEY CLOSED AND LOCKED EVERYTHING AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY DID BOTH TIMES. THEY, HOWEVER, DID NOT CLOSE THE GATE TO MY FENCE AND MY DOG GOT OUT AND WAS INJURED RESULTING IN MY DOG BEING PARALYZED. I CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM ABOUT THIS. THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD "PUT MY DOG TO SLEEP" AND THAT MY DOG IS MY OWN RESPONSIBILITY. HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND INSENSITIVE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT HE WOULD RELATE TO A CUSTOMER IN THIS WAY. IT IS INCREDIBLY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS. ADDITIONALLY, THEY SAID THEY WOULD ITEMIZE MY BILL, BUT NEVER DID. I ALSO HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT THE WORK THAT THEY DID NOT ANSWER. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
