Richfield Blacktop & Concrete is a full-service asphalt and concrete contractor serving the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro since 1954. We do not do seal coating. Local home and business owners are familiar with the pavement damage our harsh winters can do. We are the Twin Cities’ top choice for pavement repairs, replacements and additions. We are proud to have laid down over 8.5 million square feet of asphalt and concrete. Description of Work: They pulled up our asphalt driveway and concrete apron and poured a concrete driveway. It went very well. They did what we asked at a stairway landing. |It would have been nice to hear from them how things would change if they ran into soil issues. They did, and had to excavate an extra 2 feet of soil, lay down fabric and back fill. I have no doubt it was needed to have a drive that would last, but the extra cost came as a bit of a surprise.They did say they would cap the cost of the extra work no matter what else they might find.
