Severe storms took a toll on my home damaging the roof, siding, fascia, and gutters. As a result of the exterior problems, rain water had penetrated the cracked vent in the roof, into the attic, through the insulation, and into the interior drywall of my vaulted kitchen ceiling. I had searched Angie's List looking for reputable contractors that could address all my known issues as well as do a comprehensive inspection to identify items that might be unseen to a layman like myself. Revered Construction had great reviews and I proceeded to book an appointment for them to come to my home and take a look firsthand at the problems. Jason, a representative from Revere Construction, along with another colleague arrived for the appointment on-time and spent the next couple hours thoroughly inspecting the damaged and adjacent areas. Upon completion of their inspection, they sat with me and explained their findings as well as repair recommendations. We knew this was going to be an insurance claim since the damage was storm related. They provided clear answers as to the actual repair work required and how the insurance claim process works. They were very friendly, easy going, knowledgeable, and professional. They said they would follow up with me the next day with an estimate on actual repair costs. Before leaving from this initial appointment, they installed tarps on the areas of my roof where water could enter should it rain. They voluntarily asked to do this without any suggestion on my part. The next day Jason followed up with me and provided an estimate on the cost of the repairs. I had already been in contact with my insurance company and arranged a date for the insurance claim adjuster to come out and assess the damage. Jason took down the date and said he would be there personally for the adjuster's appointment. Come the day of the appointment, Jason and his colleague were there during the entire 2-hour escapade. They went over everything with the adjuster to make sure nothing was missed. They knew the right questions to ask and I genuinely felt they were representing me to get the right repairs to my home. The adjuster said it would take a week or so to get the claim paperwork in order with the estimates to see what would be covered. After a week, the report from the adjuster came back and Jason met with me to go over it. We detailed out the work that was going to be performed, the approximate schedule, and of course the cost. Since they would have to re-texture the vaulted ceiling due to the repairs, I decided to pay to have them scrape off the popcorn style texture currently on the ceilings and texture it with knockdown throughout the entire upper-level. Also looked at upgraded shingles, siding, etc. By the end of the meeting, I was very comfortable with Revere Construction doing the repairs as everything was clearly explained to me and all the aforementioned effort/follow-ups on their part demonstrated their commitment to getting my home fixed. Within a week, Revered Construction obtained the proper permits from the city and work could commence. First up was the repair of the roof. Roofing crew arrived in the morning and did a complete tear off of the existing roof, then proceeded to install the new one. City inspector showed up and asked that 2 vents be added. The crew did it and completed the roof in a single day. They cleaned up after themselves, even going through the lawn with a magnet looking for stray nails. By the end, it was like they weren't even there....apart from the brand new roof. Next was exterior siding/fascia/gutters. They tore off the damaged sections and installed the new components. Siding color matched the existing walls. Completed the work in a day and cleaned up once they finished. Everything looked great. Admittedly the next phase, the interior ceiling work, significantly concerned me as it would involve A LOT of dust, moving/shuffling of furniture, and inconvenience. It is inevitable when it comes to this specific type of repair work. Since my wife and I had to live in the house while this work was being performed, the contractor sat down with us and we worked out a schedule as to the areas they would be working in to minimize disruptions. They were extremely accommodating as they performed their work. They carefully moved furniture and covered them in multiple layers of plastic to protect them from dust. They completely cordoned off an area with plastic, floor to wall, to keep the dust contained and minimize the mess. This process was repeated many times as they worked their way through the upper level. This portion took about 2 weeks to perform. In the end, thanks to the considerate contractors, the inconvenience was worth it as the ceiling repairs/texturing was done perfectly. The final phase was the interior painting. The contractor again sat down with me to discuss color options as well as recommended brands of paint. I was free to choose what I wanted but I valued his professional opinion and insight. For one large wall in the living room, I opted for a dark maroon color which the painter warned about the general need to use at least 2 coats thus driving up costs. He was upfront about it which I liked. During the painting of this wall, surface defects in the drywall became apparent with the dark color applied and the painter took the time to repair them so they wouldn't stand out. Again, informing me as issues came up rather than either hiding it or waiting until the end after the work had been completed. He took the time to tape everything and covered/protected the surroundings prior to working. The painting took a little over a week for a large, open living room/kitchen/foyer vault, along with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The duration was mainly due to having multiple coats to apply since we chose some darker colors. Couldn't be happier with the painting result. My experience with Revered Construction was outstanding. They were informative, responsive, and professional throughout all aspects of this project. The workmanship of the contractors involved in each phase was excellent. I waited a couple months to write this review to make sure nothing and quot;brokeand quot; or and quot;leakedand quot; after the fact. I'm happy to report not a single issue despite the 10 inches of rain we received in May. I will be sure to recommend Revered Construction to any of my friends/family (and to you) that is considering a home improvement project.

Jason from Revered Construction provided a detailed bid within two days of my inquiry. He also responded to my additional questions promptly via email. Within two weeks, he had completed all work, replacing plywood sections of the roof and installing new shingles. We were pleased with Jason's professionalism and promptness, and we would recommend Revered Construction for similar work.
Description of Work: Our shed's roof had leaked since before we bought our house. However, the shed had a nice cement floor and was wired for electricity, so we didn't want to replace it. Revered Construction replaced the rotten plywood sections of the roof and then installed new shingles.
