Reroof America Contractors

We needed our roof replaced due to storm damage. I thought this was going to be such a headache between coordinating with our insurance company, finding a roofing company, coordinating the actual roof replacement, etc. But...it went so smoothly! Luckily, our insurance company suggested Reroof America, as we had no idea who to go with. They were so punctual, professional, the job was done in one day - the quality was amazing and the property was left clean! I would absolutely contract through Reroof America again! They were wonderful on all fronts.

Reroof America did an outstanding job and left our home neat and clean. They completed the work quickly and efficiently. Workers were courteous and hard working! I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They were from my insurance company. They did a did a hard quality job. They were excellent.

It's unfortunate when a contractor responds to a review and decides it's in their best interests to disparage their customers. However, this was typical of our experience. Yes, a downspout was removed from the gutters. This was not an arbitrary decision. On three separate occasions the gentleman managing the project was asked if this was going to be an issue. We were told it would not be, now the contractor blames us for that decision. The window was accidentally broken when being installed, things happen. We repeatedly called left messages for the person managing the project asking when the new window would arrive. We received no response. As for the billing issues. I am simply astounded at the sheer lack of competence that was exhibited throughout the entire process. A lien release form was provided to the contractor in February and was told they would be paid when it was submitted. The contractor asked about payment in August and couldn't locate that form so we sent another. The email I have of their response states ?I do not have the Conditional Lien Waiver in your physical file. Please send another to me and we will get that sent to them.? Every time I spoke to the contractor I referenced how I needed this form faxed to the mortgage company so they could release the checks to me, and yet it appears they still didn?t have complete clarity that that was what I expected and I thought was agreed to. I?m stunned. When I dropped the check off the lien release had finally been submitted but the amount due and date of loss were incorrect. It had to be submitted again. I am angry and insulted this company threatened to place a lien on our home. The fact is that if the paperwork had been taken care of when I first provided the form I would have happily paid them months earlier simply to be through with this experience. From the day a crew showed up without any notice and dropped shingles in our driveway through spending an entire winter with a broken window to finally having to question the amount due on the invoice and why the amount on the release did not match the amount on the bill - nothing went smoothly with this job. Rest assured, if we ever have the opportunity to provide input to anyone on the selection of a roofing contractor our first statement will be anyone but Reroof America. Horrible customer service. Calls not returned, and constant delays in necessary paperwork caused the insurance company payments to expire, causing us to request additional checks TWICE! Paperwork submitted in February was not property submitted until September. Constant delays in completion of work. Subcontractors would show up with no notice, then not show up again for days. Our gutters still don't drain correctly, and leak at the corners. When we asked the manager (Bill) to come and see the gutters, he told us that we had more rain than usual and blamed it on that. The roofer subcontractors left a huge mess, and had to come back more than once to finish the work. The bay window that was finally installed in November (after being damaged in August) was cracked during installation, and not replaced until April. So all winter we had to deal with a bay window with a huge crack in it that let in cold air. Never once did the company apologize for any of the delays.

Roof replacement happened in 1 day and the quality appears good. I was not at home when the roof work was done. Siding replacement happened over the course of 2 weeks based on weather conditions and the work crew was small (1 worker most days, sometimes 2 people). The quality of the installation appears to be good. Installers were very respectful of my property and cleaned up well after the job. All utilities and electrical fixtures appear to be working as expected after work is complete. A window insert was also installed and the incorrect color was ordered. We are in process of getting the correct color delivered and installed. A new patio door was also installed and the quality appears good. Window wraps and framing for patio door are professionally done and I am happy with the finished look of the exterior upon completion. Reroof America will be replacing my gutters but the date for replacement has not been set.

We are very happy with the results from Reroof America. Bill Ritenour and his crew did a fantastic job and the house and windows look great. Everything went according to schedule and came out costing what Bill estimated which was very important to us. We really like the new windows and they work great. The windows were all installed in a day. Our new Alside foam backed vinyl siding is a fine looking and functional addition to our home. It really looks like a new house. There were lots of colors of siding and window trim to choose from. All in all we highly recommend the folks at Reroof America. We're very glad we went with them.

They did an excellent job! They were very organized, clean and neat. They were on time and finished the job on time. We were very satisfied overall.

They were totally unprofessional. My car was parked in our driveway while we were gone. When we came back to town my car was covered in tacks and surrounded by nails because the company either just let them fall onto our property and onto my car or just threwn into our yard. We picked up enough tacks and nails to fill a flower pot. They were extremely careless and sloppy.

The company was recommended by insurance. A rep came out that day. A loose soffit was banging outside my daughter's window, causing her to wake up. He said someone would come out right away to stop it--that took over 2 weeks. They began work in June. They left a dumpster in the drive way for weeks because they "forgot" about it. It took several call. The soffits didn't match, so we had to add that on--that wasn't completed until almost November. During the course of the summer, we found chips and crack in the siding. Guess what--it's May of 2009, and they still haven't fixed them! We've placed call after call, and no one gets back to us.

I need them to contact me with the lean waiver, or send me an explanation as to why I would not need one.

No work performed-you've gotta show up if you're going to be in the game.

Only one problem: I found it difficult to get the pictures of the roof for the inspector. Took too many phone calls to get this going. However, overall I would still go with Reroof America.

The representative I dealt with, Chadd, was an amazing guy. He even drove out to my workplace with the shingle samples because I couldn't make up my mind about the color. The roofing guys got the job done in 2 days. They did an excellent job cleaning up the yard; I couldn't even tell they'd been there and the roof looks beautiful. I should add too that I called 3 other roofing companies for estimates. Two of them told me my roof was too steep and one's estimate was $16,000.

From start to finish, everything was handled in a timely and professional manner. The receptionist on the phone was courteous and knowledgeable. The person who gave the estimate remained involved to the end of the project, ensuring that everything was done according to how we had discussed it. He was knowledgeable about working with my homeowners insurance (that was paying for the roof), and I especially appreciated that he took the time to explain everything to me every step of the way and was willing to give information that really helped in my decision making process. The work crew was fast, efficient, and also did their job professionally. They worked quietly and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. Even the dumpster disappeared like magic immediately upon completion of their cleanup.

THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO COME AND THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY ALSO OFFERED A COMPETITIVE PRICE, THE LOWEST OF 4 BIDS. THEY DID NICE WORK AND WERE WELL SUPERVISED. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON THE ROOF, THEY ALSO MOVED A HEAVY PACKAGE TO THE BASEMENT FOR US. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND.
