We bought a house with cement slab floors and wanted hardwood floors installed. Three other companies came out and told us it could not be done. They all recommended manufactured hardwood which I had before and hated. However other experts in the field who were not in our area said it could be done but it would take time and skill. Then Jeff showed up. He went way out of his way to get what we wanted not what he was pushing. In addition there were little changes along the way and he responded like the pro he is never getting flustered. So it has been a year....Before he left he told us how to maintain the new floors and they still look new and awesome even with a swimming out our backdoor and kids and grandkids tracking wet feet inside the floors, real Maple, still are fantastic. This is your guy Seriously.

Our floors turned out amazing. Jeff was able to match the family room 3rd grade maple to the existing 3rd grade maple in the kitchen. He noticed the wood was a caramel maple not a white maple. Jeff was so nice to work with. He was able to get us into his schedule early so the floors would be done before our family came to visit with their new baby. He even finished the floor with a non-toxic seal so I didn't need to worry about our dogs and the new baby coming to visit. He always let me know what the next steps would be so I would know to be home or not. He was always on time and followed through with everything he scheduled. I am so thrilled with our new floors. He was able to match the existing floors perfectly. Other quotes I received the companies told me they would not match for several years. I would highly recommend Renewed Floors to anyone seeking a very professional caring person to do their wood floors. We nicknamed Jeff "The Wood Floor Guru".

Did a very nice job on these floors. Arrived right on time to estimate and provided an estimate on the spot. The cost was middle of the three I got, but they seemed to "like" hardwood floors and talking about them if that makes sense. We scheduled the job for three or so weeks later and they showed up on time and completed it in three days they said they would. He carefully explained what I should and should not allow on the floors for the three weeks of full curing and left the house in perfect shape. The floors look very nice. It's 100 year old maple so there are interesting patterns and spots - all authentic. Very please with the job that Renewed did. I had asked for a lien waiver when I sent my final payment it and it arrived 5 days later. You don't get THAT every time from busy contractors. Thanks Jeff!!

Jeff from Renewed Hardwood Floors is a down to Earth guy and does almost everything himself with one assistant. I chose him because I could tell he was a worker and not a salesman. His work on our red oak floors is stunning and still impresses me more than anything else in our $150,000+ remodel. His price was fair and he gave me a free estimate on the spot. He's been in the business a long time and I could tell he knows his trade. We threw a few curve balls at Jeff, such as switching to using a truckload of reclaimed wood I picked up on Craigslist instead of new lumber. He installed about 1000sqft, all of which was 70+ year-old reclaimed oak. There was virtually no new wood used on the whole job. We didn't do this to save money, but rather to match the character of the original floors and to save some old growth oak from the landfill. Jeff raised a lot of concerns about the materials I acquired, but he went ahead and did the job, and the end result is stunning. The only thing that I forgot to ask ahead of time was whether there is a low VOC alternative sealer that he could have used. I believe that the stuff he used (oil based) is probably the most durable out there, but it has taken several weeks of ventilation to get rid of the off-gassing smell. I may be particularly sensitive to this, as it doesn't bother others. I'm also told that oil based (high-VOC) Polyurethane is the best way to go for a long life finish. He did mention that turning the heat up will speed cure time, so I did that. All in all, I am very impressed with Jeff and would recommend his work to anyone. Unfortunately after his experience here dealing with less than ideal materials, he told me he doesn't want to install reclaimed wood again. Hopefully he reconsiders, because he has to be one of the best in the business with the stuff, and could surely charge more for it. The wood I got was a big hassle for him (broken, warped, with nails, etc.) and I know he spent more time on it than he bargained for. In the end thought, I like this floor better than I would a brand new and perfectly smooth / homogeneous one. I will definitely hire Jeff again if we ever expand or move.

It went wonderful! I am so glad I went with this company. From the first call to Jeff for information until Brent and John left after the third coat, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. They keep me informed of what time they were going to be there and they were very flexible when working with my schedule. Brent took time to answer my questions while he was busy working. Everything Jeff told me during the initial process was done to my satisfaction. Thanks Renewed Hardwood Floors for making my hardwood floors look so great!! More carpeting may be pulled up to have the hardwood floors refinished in the future.

Jeff and his crew, i.e., Brent's crew, were a pleasure to deal with. They were all prompt, courteous, and very professional in their advice and what they delivered. My wife and I could not be any happier with the end product they delivered!!!

Jeff came out to provide an estimate promptly, scheduled the work promptly after. Was very courteous and understanding when I had to reschedule the work due to a conflict with some painting work being done in the same room. His guys came out to complete the work as scheduled and did a great job. The floor looks gorgeous.

Jeff and his team were responsive to my phone calls and emails. My floors look beautiful. I am pleased with my overall experience.

They arrived on time and sanded the everything beautifully with very little dust and cleaned the surface before applying 3 coat to the surface over 3 days. The stairs and landing are beautiful and we could not be happier. They did a wonderful job. I wish we had hired them when we originally purchased the house and had the floors and such done by someone suggested by our realtor, lesson learned. One nice thing is that they had to delay the project and the called ahead to let me know and then called before arriving to do all the separate coat to our floor.

They were very timely. They did a god job of cleaning some of the mess. They came, did the estimate and seemed very trustworthy and reliable. We didn't have any complaints about it.

I got them from Angie's List. We had two bids but we like this guy better. He does a very good job. They try please the customer, what she needs and they'll do it and they don't fight you. These guys do it and that's what I really appreciate about them.

Jeff did an excellent sanding and polishing the 20 year old hardwood floors in my home. There was very little dust and the work site was clean when they completed the job. Also, I got several quotes for the work and Jeff's price was the most reasonable. He and his team did a fantastic job. I have already shared his contact information with a couple of people that expressed a need to have floors refinished. Thanks Jeff.

Jeff was flexible and worked hard to fit this in when we were on vacation. The price was lower than another bid and I love that he uses oil based finish. It is rich and deep and fitting for an old house. He also did our floors in our last house and after 10 years they looked like new. I asked Jeff to look at the transition piece from the kitchen to the dining room as it was broken. He did, and made us a custom new piece, and came back to install it, all for only an additional $50. I can't recommend Jeff highly enough.

It was my understanding that all the carpeted rooms in my house had hardwood floors underneath. I had checked in 2 rooms. I asked for an estimate to get the Family Room carpet pulled up and hardwood refinished. Jeff came, pulled up a corner of the carpet to inspect the floor and measured the room. My estimate was $925. I subsequently learned that this is the only room that does NOT have hardwood underneath the carpet. It has manufactured wood like, or wood venner, planking.

Owner came out to give bid quickly after my phone call. Was able to perform work 2 weeks later. It only took 2 days for sanding and 3 coats, and floors look fantastic. I had been expecting quite a bit of dust left over, and was very pleasantly surprised at how little dust they left. Job was done quickly. Floors are as good as any refinish I have seen. Price was reasonable, especially when taking the quality into account. I would highly recommend this company. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of this job.

BEST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER, no joke. Gave Brent and Chad (they work w/ Jeff who did the initial estimate) a key to my place and they worked over a four day period, with Brent calling me literally three times a day; before arriving, after wrapping up each day, and to see what I thought of the progress each night when I arrived home after work. I've never had such incredible customer service, ever. Super professional, polite, and gave me great advice along the way. Now, on to the floors. They had huge gouges in several spots that these guys made disappear. Several boards needed to be replaced and you can't even tell that the areas contain non-original boards. These guys even filed-off nail heads and set them deeper and covered them up (can't tell there were nails used anywhere). The floors look so incredible now I can't even believe it! Unquestionably the best they've ever looked in their nearly 100 years. I'll definitely be calling Brent over here to finish the first-floor rooms in the spring. If you're getting your floors refinished, you need to go with these guys. No way anyone else can match their combination of quality, customer service, and price.

They did a wonderful job! Very attentive and eyes for detail. They called me over right away when they found some discolored spots in the wood (a trail of what was probably car oil leading from one side of room to hallway that was at least 30 years old) and went over possible options, explaining the pros and cons of each choice.

Jeff was always responsive and answered any and all questions. Would use this company again for any hardwood flooring work.

These guys did a fantastic job! I had no idea how bad my floor actually was until these guys refinished them! The crew worked the entire time they were here all three days and were very thorough hand detail oriented. They were respectful of being in my house and were pleasant to have around. They also did their best to cut down on the amount of dust from the sanding and covered my cabinets and counters, the entrance to the attached office and my TV in plastic to help minimize the mess. Much appreciated! I would recommend this company to anyone (and already have!) without hesitation. Excellent job and I love showing off my new floor!

They did an outstanding job bringing new life to the very beat up hardwood floors left by the previous home owners. They look brand new. The owner (Jeff) came to my house and we walked through the whole project, he explained everything and then gave me a fair price. The installer (James) arrived to perform the work on time each day and was very detailed and thorough. He treated my home like it was his own and when he was done, you could barely tell that any work had been done. Except for the fact that the floors look amazing. I was so impressed with this company's personal touch and attention to detail. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to my friends and family when they ask who did the hardwood floors. I wish all my experiences with home contractors were like this one. Thanks again!

Renewed Hardwood Floors did a real good job other than we had to have them come back because he took my little quarter-round bound on the floor, he took that out where he added some floor and didn't put new stuff back in so we had to have them come back out. They wanted more money, I said, "no, you shouldn't get more money, that should have been on your deal." He said, "okay we can do it, no charge." They have good workmanship. The bid was very knowledgeable, he knew his stuff because some people didn't seem to know it and the day he came, we just signed up with him. He came the day he said he was going to be here.

They wanted to start a day early and because I still had large furniture left to move out, they very carefully helped move my larger pieces of furniture with no additional charge. They explained everything prior to starting the job, kept me informed daily of progress during the job and cleaned up completely afterwards. My floors look amazing! I knew they would look good but the floors exceeded my expectations. My floors are red oak and the red color came through beautifully. I definitely recommend these guys to anyone with hardwood floors. They know their craft and provide excellent customer service.

Very easy to work with and did a great job. Came on time, communicated about any potential issues, cleaned up after themselves. We got 4 quotes and he was close to the cheapest. Was able to accommodate our tight schedule. Gave us clear instructions on how to care for the floors. Floors look wonderful. Would definitely use them again.
