Jeff came out for the estimate himself and was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. His crew was also very prompt and professional. They did an excellent job and things turned out great. They were very helpful in evaluating different stain options without pressuring us in any direction. They were careful not to over promise and the end product was as good or better than they said it would be. I was very happy with them in every aspect and would highly recommend them to others.

Jeff was easy to reach by phone and was available to come and give us a quote on refinishing our hardwood floors on the spot. He was friendly and thoughtful. We ended up deciding not to refinish the floors, but we would have gone with him if we had.

We love our gorgeous floors! Jeff came out within a few days of my intial phone call. He was willing to do the stairs and his quote was the lowest of the five we received. Usually we follow the adage of throwing out the high and low bids, but Renewed had good Angie Reports so we hired Renewed. Jose' was the crew leader and he did fabulous work. He communicated well with us and was patient with our questions and concerns to have everything just right. We are very picky, and he made sure we were satisfied with every little thing. He custom mixed the stain for the floors and the staircase to match the railing. We are very, very pleased with the end result. After an upcoming kitchen and mastersuite project is complete we will hire Renwed to install a new floor and refinish the last existing one. Our only complaint was that it took a week longer than Jeff said it would. Jose' rarely had any help. But, we had not moved in to the house yet so it didn't create too much of a problem.

Jeff Kroh, owner, was very professional and excellent in his service. He came on a Sunday to give me an estimate, and they completed the work right before I moved to my new home. They were very meticulous in the overall work, and the quality was exceptional. Dou, one of the workers, painted samples of the 3 different stains available so that I could see the finished look before I made a decision on which stain to use. Doug and Jeff came to my previous home so they could see the stain color that I wanted. I will definitely us them again, and I highly recommend them.

Absolutely gorgeous. I can't believe floors from 1950 could look this good. They cleaned up well and were on time. I even trusted them with the key to my house. Everything went fine. I would use them again in the case I need refinished floors. I've hired them again to trim out the floors.

Jeff was did an excellent job on my floors! He was very courteous, punctual, and professional. He did a good job of cleaning up after-wards. I feel that I had extremely good service and that the quality of work was excellent! I would definitely recommend him to others.

Jeff, the owner, was very pleasant to work with and prompt with his schedule. Bob, one of his employees ,actually did the work and was also friendly but not as prompt. On the first day, he was called to another job which caused our job to be delayed an entire day. We were also initially unhappy with some of the repairs and scuff marks left on the base boards from the sanding. Jeff and his employee agreed to stain the wood in those areas, which helped a lot. They seem to have thrown away a piece of the original quarter round footing that goes along the baseboards (an 80 yr old piece of wood). They've agreed to come back and replace it with a new one. We also asked for reducers to bridge the gap between the titled floors and hardwood floors. They seem to have forgotten about them but have agreed to bring them at a later date. Overall, I don't think I would use them again but only because I think there are so many better flooring companies.

Jeff was polite, on time and knowledgeable about wood floors. Didn't hire because I received a lower bid.

Very responsive to my inquiry with a prompt appointment to discuss the options for our flooring and provide a reasonable estimate. He accommodated our schedule on short notice when we'd be away from home to do a several day process. When we returned, the job was beautifully completed and we were delightfully surprised to find very little dust residue for our cleanup.

A very pleasant experience from start to finish. Their rates were reasonable, they were prompt and they explained everything along the way.

Jeff is the best. As I have seen his work in other homes, I know his work last. He is organized, motivated, and a true professional with a fair price. After recently working with numerous crappy contractors on other work, Jeff shines above all of them. He is organized, careful in your home, and covers up things that should be covered during the process. His finished product has no dirt, etc. in the finish as I have seen from other large companies. He is plainly just the best and know his work. You have no worries using Jeff.

I was able to plan the work while we were gone on vacation. We came home to new looking hardwood floors. There was some dust in the house from the sanding, which caused us some cleaning time - but that should be expected. I would use them again in the future.

Brandon was the gentleman who did the work on my floor, and he did a great job. The price for finishing was 3 dollars per square foot.

Overall, they did a nice job, however, we needed to have approximately 100 boards replaced and in one area that was particularly bad (outside the bathroom door). They decided not to do the extra work and replace the wood. I talked to Jeff about it, and he said they could and should have gone further, but didn't. Jeff was able to fix this to where it was presentable with a trim strip. Also, they used a wood putty that was too light to fill some nail holes and then put the finish over then. They are more noticeable than other areas. Jeff came back and addressed the areas of concern for me. I would have preferred to have him on the job every day because of his expertise.

They were able to schedule us in quickly and were reasonably priced. They also got out a particularly bad stain in one of the back rooms. The floors look terrific. My only complaint is the lingering smell that got into our fridge/freezer, but I think we would have had that with any vendor.

It took them 7 days, and I would recommend them to anyone. They gave me an Angie's List discount.

Jeff was very responsive to my call. We had just purchased a home and wanted the upstairs bedrooms and steps refinished. We had a quick timeline, and it was during the winter holidays. They were able to get the work done quickly. Evidently, there was miscommunication between Jeff and the employee actually doing the work about what date the work needed to be completed by - yet the employee was willing and able to get everything completed before we moved in. The floors look beautiful, and I am very happy with the work and the price was good. I would use Renewed Hardwood Floors again.

We are very pleased with their work. The project took 6 working days. We did it before we moved into the house. They were very thorough in patching some minor flaws that appeared after we pulled up the carpeting. They were easy to communicate with and responsive to our requests. The floors look fabulous, and we would definitely use them again for any future projects.

Jeff's crew did a nice job. The floors look great. There was no mess to clean up after job was finished.

SERVICEMAN WAS HONEST, WHICH WAS GOOD. HIS BID WAS ON PAR WITH OTHERS WE GOT, AND FAIR. HOWEVER, HE SEEMED NOT TO BE AS KNOWLEDGEABLE AS OTHERS AND DETERMINED TO WORK ON HIS OWN TERMS.

The bid was much lower than other companies that we consulted and the work was excellent. They were done a day earlier than first expected. The floor looks wonderful, and we are very happy with the work that was done!!

Showed up when they said, did work. Recommended different finish to accommodate our family situation. Looks much improved.

Renewed did a professional job, we are pleased with the final result. Their prices were quite a bit less than our other 2 bids. One of the other contractors would have removed all of the shoe moldings before sanding, but otherwise the bids seemed comparable.

THE EVENING BEFORE THE WORK WAS TO BE DONE, I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A PERSON IDENTIFYING HIMSELF AS ''JOSE'' WHO SAID THAT HE WAS COMING TO DO MY FLOORS IN THE MORNING AND HAD FORGOTTEN HIS EQUIPMENT AT ANOTHER JOB AND WOULD IT BE O.K. IF HE WAS A COUPLE OF HOURS LATE. I ASKED IF JEFF WASN'T DOING MY FLOORS AND HE SAID ''NO HE DOESN'T DO ALL THE JOBS''. I WAS NEVER INFORMED IN ALL MY CONVERSATIONS WITH JEFF THAT SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIMSELF WOULD BE DOING THE WORK. JEFF CALLED THE NEXT MORNING AND ASKED IF I HAD A PROBLEM WITH ''HIS GUYS DOING THE WORK''. I STATED THAT I DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT, BUT DID HAVE A PROBLEM WITH NOT HAVING BEEN INFORMED OF THAT FACT. I STATED THAT THE JOB NEEDED TO BE CANCELED. IT WAS TO LATE TO CANCEL OUR HOTEL ROOM SO THIS EXPENSE WAS NONREFUNDABLE.
