25 years of home building and remodeling contractor services. We specialize in uniquie custom homes and Accessibility (handicap accessible home building and remodeling). We have our own specialized sub-contractors. True customization is our forte...no home ever designed/built the same as the others.
We started by meeting with Dave and his home designer. We discussed what we wanted and needed in our new home, then they drew up plans. We met several times until we were happy with the design. There are so many features that you would never know about or think about that can make your life easier. But Dave knows all of these things. Our total time from demolition to move in was 9 months. It only took 2 weeks longer than we hoped, but it was for reasons beyond their control. Dave's son Jeff, was our construction foreman. Throughout the entire process Jeff was completely available and helpful. If he didn't know the answer to our question, he immediately called the right person to find out. If problems arose, he took care of them quickly. Even after we moved in, I could still call Jeff for help, and he was here promptly to take care of things. We absolutely love our new home, and the entire construction team we worked with.
Description of Work: They completely tore down our existing home, and rebuilt a new 6000 square foot completely handicap accessible walkout rambler on our existing property. Dave Regel specializes in building handicap accessible homes, and even has patented certain features. We followed his work in the Parade of Homes for 3 years before deciding to build with him. We have a handicap son who uses a wheelchair. Dave knows everything you need to know about building for handicap accessibility. Many builders say they can build handicap accessible, but they don't have a clue. There are no steps into our home, low thresh hold doorways, wide halls and doorways, an elevator, and a handicap bathroom with a ceiling lift from a bedroom to a bathroom. Its fantastic.
