RAPID GLASS

DO NOT TRUST I communicated with Rapid Glass at every stage of the purchase and installation process. I reviewed every line item of the statement of work with Rapid Glass to ensure there was no misunderstanding with regards to the number of windows to be fixed and how payment would be delivered (1/2 paid up front, the remainder when work was completed. There were delays in delivery due. I re-confirmed with Rapid Glass that I wouldn’t be charged the ½ half of the bill until they completed the work. Rapid Glass agreed, but then went ahead and charged the remainder of the bill anyways. When they finally arrived to complete the bill they crossed out two line items of the statement of work I’d been billed for and told me that they wouldn’t fix those windows. After back-and-forth calls, documentation and stressful disagreements with their customer service reps they finally told me that there was a “misunderstanding” and they would fix only one of the windows and that I would have to pay to have one of the windows I already paid for fixed. I won’t do business with the company again and I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Went very well. The install and the initial estimate were both on time when they said they would be here. (they provide service windows of a few hours to allow some breathing room but they were within the 2 hour window) It took about 1.5 weeks after the estimate and glass ordering for the glass to be ready and to arrive, but the installer showed up and did a very quick and clean job. Had to deal with customer service after the fact but was treated very well and am overall quite happy with the end results and price was fair. I would recommend them for glass repair or pane replacement and will most likely be using them again when my next piece of glass cracks in the house that I can't buy a pane for at the hardware store.

Great work. And they were able to provide service quickly.

We requested a price estimate to replace double glazed glass in two windows, one in living room and one in basement. A time frame of noon to 2:00 pm was scheduled. We specifically advised them that we not be home in the morning and that if the estimator called before coming and didn't get an answer he should come anyway because we would be home by noon. When we arrived home around 11:30 we found an estimate sheet on the door for the living room window (it was shattered and so was obvious) but no mention of the basement window. Obviously no information that we had provided over the phone had gotten to the person coming out. This was a total screw-up in communications on their end. When the estimator called later we told him that he had missed estimating the basement window and asked if he would come right back out. He said no he had other schedules or something to that effect. I told him to forget it and that his company should get their act together. I called North Metro Autoglass and they provided wonderful service.

The initial install went well, professional installer, on time and install appeared to be fine. However, the window hummed and vibrated above 55 mph so they need to return and correct the issue which they acknowledged they had seen in other Tundra/Sequoia models.....probably a C overall due to the second visit but I give points for the fact that the installer (same for both visits) was professional and while unable to be on-time for the 2nd appt, made a point of calling several times to let me know he was delayed. Ultimately the job is fine...some frustration getting through to their customer service for the warranty issue but they were polite and apologetic.
