Al was very professional and had to come back to finish the job. He did terrific work. I will use them again.

Two plumbers came over and at first I was a little concerned that they would not be able to diagnose my problem (deep gurgling noises when water was draining out of bathroom sink & tub). However, lead plumber pieced the puzzle together and determined I had a "Denver cross" (my pipes were coming together in a cross formation) and that it must be clogged. Sure enough, he was exactly correct, the vent stack was completely plugged with 90 years of debris. He installed a new piece of pipe and a clean out trap. Solved my problem! Now on to find someone to repair the wall.

Came in and gave a very quick estimate. $1000 to install 2 single-handle faucets (and I would supply the faucets). Crazy! Zeller plumber came in and gave an estimate of $500, which was far more reasonable.

Al is an excellent plumber. He was on time, did a great job and answered all of our questions. We will be calling Al for any other plumbing projects we have.

I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN WHEN I NEED A PLUMBER. IT WAS A PLEASURE HAVING THE RANDY LANE GUY IN OUR HOUSE DOING EXPERT WORK. HE ANSWERED QUESTIONS READILY AND RESPECTFULLY AND GAVE A GOOD BRIEFING ON THE CARE AND OPERATION OF THE WATER HEATER.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR NEED FOR A NEW WATER HEATER, AND HE ARRIVED IN 3 DAYS. THE PLUMBER, WORKING ALONE, WAS VERY NEAT, COURTEOUS, INFORMATIVE, CONGENIAL, AND CAREFUL. HE WAS METHODICALLY EXCITING IN HIS WORK, AND CHECKED IT CAREFULLY WHEN HE WAS DONE. I WATCHED HIM, AND I'M ASSURED THAT HE DID GOOD QUALITY WORK. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH, YET EXPEDITIOUS.

Plumber was very nice and tried to make the job as reasonably priced as possible.

Randy Lane & Sons were wonderful! After giving our daughter a bath one night and draining the tub, we heard water leaking in the basement. We called SOS Plumbing first the next morning, they referred us to Randy Lane & Sons. They had a technician out there by 11:00am! Al came over and was very nice. He explained the problem and told us our options. He first cleared the drain out and then explained we had a hole in our pipe which is why the water was leaking into our basement. He said we could leave it if we wanted to, but if we ever had another backup we'd have the same problem or, he could repair it for us. He was very quick with the estimate and very efficient. He repaired the pipe and also replaced a very old part on another pipe. The tub was all cleaned up when I got home and it all worked out just wonderfully! I want R.L & S to come out for future jobs we have around the house. We have a 1940's home.

The plumber who did the work was very good at explaining the problem and suggested ways to keep the floor drain from backing up in the future. He did a nice job of connecting my fridge to the water supply, too, but had to make a second trip because he didn't have the necessary tubing.

ON TIME, POLITE AND WENT TO ALL EFFORTS TO REPAIR ISSUE.

Work was scheduled for some time after noon. At 2:00, I called to ask for an ETA and was promptly provided with one. As promised, plumber called when he was on his way. Actual work went very quickly and was done well. This company is very eager to please, perhaps too eager. I mentioned in passing that there was no hot water reaching the washer. When reviewing completed work, plumber indicated that he had fixed the hot water issue (even though this was not part of the work request). According to him there had been silt blocking the hose and preventing hot water from getting to washer. Actual reason for lack of hot water was that the hot water heater supplying the washer was not turned on.

WE HAD SOME TROUBLE WITH THE FIXTURE AT FIRST, AND THEY HAD TO COME OUT A COUPLE OF TIMES TO STOP LEAKS, BUT THEY DID NOT CHARGE US FOR THE RETURN TRIPS.

Performed work in timely and professional manner. Coordinated work with HVAC and tile installers. Made return visits to re-route vents and remove rod.

I WISH THAT THEY WOULD HAVE MENTIONED THEIR PRICES OR THAT I WOULD HAVE ASKED BEFORE HIRING THEM. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND THEY WERE SUPER NICE AND THEY INCLUDED ME IN EVERYTHING. THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE AND LET ME HELP A LITTLE WHERE I COULD.

Excellent experience. Plumber was late due to heavy snowfall, but we were called and told of his new arrival time. Plumber was personable and knowledgeable.

Great experience. They were available for scheduling a visit the day and time that was convenient for me. Al was on time, he explained what he was going to do, did the job and was done in about one half hour. We rec'd a $10.00 Angies List discount! If we need plumbing assistance again, I will definitely call Randy Lane & Sons.

TUB WAS LEAKING AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE. HE FOUND 1 OF THE PIPES WERE LOOSE AND IT WOULDN'T TIGHTEN. HE PUT IN REPLACEMENT PVC PIPE. ALSO PUT A P TRAP IN MY BASEMENT. VERY CLEAN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. COST IS WITH 10% DISCOUNT.

THE GENTLEMAN WHO CAME TO MY HOME EXPLAINED THAT I REALLY DIDN'T NEED A REPAIR SO MUCH AS EDUCATION. HE TIGHTENED THE VALVE AND ONLY CHARGED ME FOR A HOUSE CALL. I APPRECIATED THE HONESTY AND WILL USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

RANDY LANE HAS BEEN PROMPT IN ARRIVING AND CONTINUES THE REPAIR UNTIL IT WAS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION. NO CHARGE WAS REQUIRED FOR THIS FOLLOW-UP VISIT.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH RANE LANE. THEY HAVE DONE OUTSTANDING WORK EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THIS HOUSE. AL FIXED A LEAKY VALVE AND SWAPPED OUT A BROKEN BATHROOM FAUCET WITH A NEW ONE. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. A SMALL LEAK DEVELOPED AFTER HE LEFT, AND I SPOKE WITH MARY AT THEIR OFFICE WHO MADE SURE I WAS TAKEN CARE OF. AL RETURNED AND DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM (AN OLD RUBBER RING HAD CRACKED), AND QUICKLY (AND CHEAPLY) CORRECTED IT. LABOR WAS VERY INEXPENSIVE CONSIDERING HE ALSO HAD TO SNAKE THE DRAIN PIPE TO REMOVE A CLOG AFTER HE WAS FINISHED. HE ALSO BROUGHT A HARD-TO-FIND PART FOR A DIFFERENT, OLDER SINK IN MY BASEMENT THAT HAD A BROKEN HANDLE - HE HAD REMEMBERED THIS FROM HIS PREVIOUS TRIP, AND GAVE ME THIS RECYCLED PART FOR FREE. VERY THOUGHTFUL! A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH.

BRIAN WAS NO SHOW. I CALLED THE COMPANY AFTER AN HOUR. I WAS TOLD THAT BRIAN SAT IN TRUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY WITHOUT BOTHERING TO COME TO MY DOOR. HE ALSO NEVER CALLED BUT THIS COULD BE BECAUSE THE COMPANY HAD WRITTEN MY PHONE NUMBER DOWN WRONG. RECEPTIONIST POLITELY APOLOGIZED BUT OPTIONS TO RESCHEDULE WERE NOT VERY ACCOMMODATING.

BRIAN WAS NO SHOW. I CALLED THE COMPANY AFTER AN HOUR. I WAS TOLD THAT BRIAN SAT IN TRUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY WITHOUT BOTHERING TO COME TO MY DOOR. HE ALSO NEVER CALLED BUT THIS COULD BE BECAUSE THE COMPANY HAD WRITTEN MY PHONE NUMBER DOWN WRONG. RECEPTIONIST POLITELY APOLOGIZED BUT OPTIONS TO RESCHEDULE WERE NOT VERY ACCOMMODATING.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. THE PLUMBER, AL, SHOWED UP ON TIME, WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL, AND GOT DOWN TO WORK RIGHT AWAY. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME IN A WAY I UNDERSTOOD, AND SHOWED ME THE DEFECTIVE PIECE. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH ($120 TOTAL, THEY CHARGE A $25 FEE SIMPLY FOR DRIVING OVER TO THE JOB), BUT I FELT IT WAS WORTH IT. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM FIXED BY A DECENT HANDYMAN 6 MONTHS AGO. IT TOOK HIM OVER A HOUR TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM AND PUT A TEMPORARY FIX ON IT, AND IT LOOKED LIKE HE USED A LOT MORE TOOLS AND IT WAS MORE PROBLEMATIC FOR HIM. RANDY LANE CAME IN AND TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. I'D RECOMMEND THEM.

THEY CAME EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY CHARGED EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TOLD ME WOULD BE THE FINAL BILL. THEY DID A FAST JOB AND WERE NEAT ABOUT IT. THEY WERE ALSO VERY POLITE.
