It went well. Plumber called prior to coming, finished repair within half an hour, also checked behind stove for gas leaks.

The installer stated installing the wrong fixture resulting in holes in the wrong places. The tile covering the bathroom was antique tile. They have attempted to find (the 12 replacement tiles) but have had no matches. As a result to the temporary fixes we have had leaking resulting in rotting in the living room ceiling.

Came on time fixed everything and left.

Called up Randy Lane and they advised me that they could not help me with the issue I was having but referred me to another company which provided excellent service as well.

I called for an estimate and they had someone out within a couple days.

A pleasant experience from beginning to end! With my very first call everyone was so helpful, cooperative and efficient. Mary set up an appointment at a time that was convenient to me. Jeremy was waiting when I got home, he worked very quickly and knew exactly what he was doing. I received the Angie's List discount and was extremely pleased with the professional way my task was handled!

We will use Randy Lane co. again. They have done plumbing work for us before in a 1915 house and looked for ways to save us money. Obviously, since they referred us out for the drain problem to save money, I trust them and will definitely use them again.

This company is on time and came within one day. They worked hard and communicated well throughout the process. They gave some good advice about how to maintain the pipes in our older home.

I was told many years ago by a representative from another plumbing company that it would cost $4000-5000 to improve our water pressure in our kitchen. I suspect those folks were looking to replace every galvanized pipe in our house. RL&S replaced the specific pipe(s) to address the water pressure issue in the cold water tap in the kitchen - which was the only place where the problem was significant - and it solved the water pressure problem in that tap. The water pressure in that tap is now great. Of course, I was pleasantly surprised that we could resolve this for much less than I'd been led to believe by the other plumbing company.

Their plumber arrived in the morning as planned and proceeded to make the gas connection to the new water heater. The new connection included a new gas ball valve since the old brass gas valve was no longer code-compliant. Also, most of the old gas line that had been rigid black pipe was replaced with soft copper line with flared fittings. With the connection completed, he verified that there were no gas leaks, fired up the heater, adjusted the temperature, and verified proper venting of combustion gases. About half an hour after he left, I had a tank full of hot water. Everything worked out fine.

Plumber was polite, professional and personable. I asked him for advice and he provided me with good advice that was easy to understand (did not have to be a plumber to know what he was talking about). Expenses were kept to a minimum and I got the repairs needed. I would definitely use Randy Lane & Sons again.

Everything was great, from the phone call on. The plumber came even earlier than expected (a good thing!), easily found what had gone wrong with the shower system, replaced parts, no mess. Was out of there in less than an hour.

The service was great. They were able to call me 30 minutes before showing up so I could get home in time. Jeremy (the plumber) was great. He is a very nice person. He cleaned everything up after he completed the job and finished very quickly (even with the new location).

Good job. Professional, courteous, and effective. Also provided an informal estimate and plan for re-piping some corroded pipes, so, I can just hire them again for that work without scheduling a separate visit for the estimate. I especially appreciated how I asked Al to tell me if there were other issues with the pipes that were not apparent to me, and he pointed out some sections of pipe that needed to be dealt with but did not try to add in unnecessary work just to bring in more money.

Great! Al quickly assessed the situation (water leaking in the basement) and pulled up the toilet. He showed me the problem and went right to work. He quickly and efficiently fixed it. I showed him that the toilet intermittently filled or didn't fill. He also made an adjustment for that. Then, for good measure, when I thought my outside faucet leaked, he tightened my (old) hose.

He was very polite, and I felt that he was fair on the pricing.

Randy Lane was a pleasure to work with from the start. They carefully steered me away from tankless water heater options, stating that many Minnesotans had issues with them. Their telephone staff was friendly and helpful, though they had the energy factors wrong for the heater models they sold. They were scheduled for afternoon. I worked from home until about 13:45 and called their office to see when they were coming (I wanted to grab some food). They said they would be arriving in 30-45 minutes. They arrived on time. The plumbers were courteous and careful. One guy was installing the water heater in no time, the other walked around the house with me, correcting problems here and there. At every stage, the staff were willing to answer my questions and provide thoughtful, knowledgeable responses. I will definitely use Randy Lane again.

It went just great. I called on a Monday and they went over on Tuesday and did the inspection. Did not require me to be on site and just let me pay by credit card. If any work would have been required, they would have applied the fee I had already paid for the inspection.

Great. Company owner called early this AM to confirm nature of the work to be performed. They told me a specific time the plumber would show up (not just a 4 hour range) and he arrived right on time. The plumber (Jeremy) was courteous and pleasant. He performed the requested work quickly (repairing the leak) and then suggested the preventive step of replacing a cold water shutoff valve that was completely frozen up. When he was all done, he took the time to explain and show exactly what he had done.

They have been invariably prompt, courteous, responsive, very clean and thorough in the work. They gave me very good advice about which faucets to purchase, and provided the option of my buying my own fixture (which is less expensive and offers me a wider choice) versus their providing one from their stock. We found this service on Angie's List and we always get the Angie's discount from them, and now, would not hire anyone else! I think their price is very fair compared with other companies we have hired in the past.
