I thought Denny did a wonderful job converting my stove to gas. He ran a gas line from my finished basement and you couldn't even tell he had been there. He cleaned up after himself and the installation was completely hidden. They had to come back to put in the anti-tip device and it took two men to move the heavy stove in. They were all wonderful to work with. Very prompt and professional and team Mary in the office is great. I will definitely use them again.

I had my two kids home, and he totally apologized for making a mess in my kitchen. He helped me corral my infant and toddler, which went beyond the call duty. He gave us some advice on how to do things ourselves and was very respectfull throughout.

They did a great job. We did encounter one problem, but they took care of it, the owner even insured us that the problem was fixed. They did not question anything or deny responsibility they just fixed it, which was nice. We would definitely use them again.

The appointment was set for 4 days after my initial call. Al was right on time and completed the job in 45 min.

The office staff is extremely thorough and pleasant to deal with, great follow through and communication. The estimate was the same as another company's estimate, however Brian Lane recognized the incorrect plumbing in the basement and included fixing this problem in the estimate for the same amount. Donnie did all of the work -- it probably should have been a two-person job, but they were very busy and so Donnie was on his own. He was fantastic. It was not an easy job (required crawling around the dusty attic in the insulation, and climbing up on the roof) but he stayed busy and on task and finished it all in one day (I don't even know if he took a break). When he told me "I do the work as if it were my own house," I actually believed him. The very next day, Donnie called me at 7:15. He said he had been thinking about one of the areas he had fixed and realized the work needed to be changed a bit, and he scheduled a time that was convenient for me so he could make sure it was done right. Rather than wait for the City Inspector to say something, he fixed it right away. Mary called to schedule the inspection, and when the inspector wasn't on time she tracked down the guy and got him to my house so I wouldn't have to wait around. The work did pass the city inspection, and I could not be more pleased with the service, quality, and price I got from Randy Lane & Sons. Top notch. Great. The plumber was prompt, explained the problem, showed me the cracks in the pipes, etc.

Excellent service. Plumber checked ahead of time to make sure I was available, showed up on time, did the work quietly and competently, answered all my questions, offered suggestions on ancillary issues I raised and asked about. Cleaned up afterwards, and was polite-courteous-respectful.

They responded quickly, answered questions after hours, and replaced the water heater the next day. We purchased a very good water heater.

This work involved three visits with a couple different plumbers. The first visit was to fix the kitchen faucet and diagnose the bathroom faucet problem. After I bought a new faucet for the bathroom, the plumber returned to install it. A month later, the pop-up on the new faucet was not working, so a plumber returned (at no charge) to fix it. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. The receptionist on the phone worked hard to find convenient times for the work to be done.

I thought they were great. Very prompt, nice, and good at what they did.

This was the first time I used Randy Lane & Sons. I am a very picky person and expect only the highest quality in services and Randy Lane & Sons met and exceeded my expectations. From the first contact over the phone where I was given quick, courteous service, to the professional and expeditious service provided at my home, I was very pleased. Not only was everyone very professional and thorough, I was given a price range over the phone and the final bill came in at the low end, which is always a nice surprise. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Brian is the gentleman that came out. He is very knowledgeable about older homes. He was very professional about everything, although we did go with a provider who had a lower bid. Brian had made suggestions in his proposal that others didn't that in the end we wish we had followed.

I had called to the office several weeks ago and asked them how to measure the toilet so I could order a new toilet. They were very helpful in the main office telling me the size toilet to purchase. Don did an excellent job installing the new toilet. He did a great job cleaning up after the work. He took with him the old toilet. I have used them numerous times and have always been very satisfied.

The plumber did a great job, was very thorough and did a much faster job than I could ever have done. He even cleaned up after himself. We were very impressed.

They came out to give me an estimate. Very nice, but I wanted a tankless hot water heater and he said I would not like it and gave me an estimate for just a new hot water heater. I got a tankless one installed by someone else. For the estimate they gave me it was reasonable but again not what I was asking for.

They were great. He came twice because he had to get the right faucet.

I noticed that the overflow valve on my water heater was leaking. The next morning I called Randy Lane & Sons at 7:15. The representative said that they should be able to have someone out with the 2nd call of the morning. About 9:15 I got a call from the plumber to make sure he could come at that time. He arrived shortly after that and had the job done in about 15 minutes.

Repair person was over an hour late and did not call to let me know until he was on his way. Otherwise, professional, courteous, fixed the problem.

Our toilet had been flushing poorly off and on for several weeks. We think either our 4 year old or our 2 year old may have flushed something that got hung up, so it wasn't completely blocking but it wasn't allowing a full flush, either. My husband had previously removed the toilet and hosed it out, but it didn't resolve the problem. Last night, I decided I'd had enough. My husband called the company in the morning, and the plumber was at the house before lunch. The toilet blockage was cleared in about 15 minutes, using a snake. Easy-peasy. It was tempting to call another company, because we were pretty sure what the issue was. But in the end, we decided it was worth it to use a company that really stands behind their work. Plus, we're starting a major renovation project this summer and it's always helpful to start building that list of reputable contractors, starting with some simple "test" projects. We would definitely call them again. I thought the price was fair and I appreciated the strong, positive feedback about them on Angie's List.

Travis confirmed that the pipe and sump pump connection had come apart....probably from the water in the pipe freezing over the winter. He repaired it quickly...he was here less than an hour. He also gave me some tips about how to disconnect the outside pipe next fall to avoid this problem in the future. I just joined Angie's List. This was my first time finding and using someone I looked up on the list. I feel so good that now I have a plumber I actually can always call and trust. That means a lot to me.

Fabulous - the guy came on time, was lovely, answered a series of my questions, and, while he was there, fixed my toilet to boot.

Donny was great. Explained what he was going to do. Gave me some options and stayed while the city water person turned the water back on. Checked connections around the area that might have loosened up from the work. Also gave a couple ballpark estimates on some future work.

My call was answered right away. They were able to work me in. They arrived on time & completed everything in about 45 minutes. When they finished, you couldn't even tell that they'd been there.

Wonderful! Jeremy was friendly, arrived promptly, and went straight to work. He got the job done in about an hour. He educated what he did and answered all of the questions that I had. I also asked him about a faucet that I had gotten an outrageous quote on he said that the job would take about an hour (estimated approx. $200--Way less than Soderlein quoted me). Also, after the work was finished, he said that there may be some debris floating in the pipes along w/ air and he instructed me on how to turn the water back on and to run it from the tub first since there's no filter for things to get stuck. A little later I had some trouble with the kitchen sink and the water not flowing w/ full force. I called them back and explained and the friendly woman on the phone said that Jeremy would gladly return free of charge to check it out for me. The problem ended up resolving itself by the end of the day, and Jeremy checked in w/ me to make sure that all was well.

The company was very polite and helpful from the first phone call to the finished product. They scheduled an appointment for us the very next day. The plumber arrived on time, and was very polite and informative. He performed the faucet installation very efficiently and neatly, and carefully explained any details I needed to know. We were impressed with the quality of the service and with the price.
