I called him and received a call back the same day. They came the following day. He was prompt and we were entirely pleased. I would definitely recommend him.

R. Lane company did a very solid job, maintaining their high standard of workmanship. They safely and securely reconnected the gas line to the dryer, and used better parts/materials than what I had purchased. Similarly they did a good job replacing the dryer duct to the outdoors. I had to give them a "C" grade this time for punctuality because they were 2 hours late on the scheduled day, but I was able to contact their office and get things squared away. The cost was higher than I expected, but in fairness we did not have a price for this job worked out beforehand. In summary I am confident in this company's work and would hire them again.

The serviceman installed water hammer arresters on the hot and cold water pipes leading to our new LG Tromm washing machine, which was causing water hammer. The arresters, recommended by LG on their website, improved the water hammer but didn't fix it completely. The serviceman was very unhappy that he couldn't fix the problem so he consulted with his bosses and co-workers and called the next day to say that he would be willing to come out again, free of charge, and look into the problem further. A fix would probably involve tearing out a wall to get to the pipe that is making noise. We are considering whether to go with that option or live with the situation as it is. LG has not been responsive to our complaints even though there is information on their website about water hammer, indicating that they know there is a problem with their washing machines. I would highly recommend Randy Lane & sons. They did their best and were concerned with our problem. I do not, however, recommend LG front loading washers!

The young man arrived on time and we talked briefly about what needed to be done. He went to work and then stated he needed to go the warehouse for supplies. He worked for awhile upon returning and then needed to go to the warehouse again. Overall the job took 4.5 hrs, and we were charged for his travel time and time at the warehouse each time, despite the fact that I had been told that we would not be charged for travel time. I had also been informed that with my detailed explanation of the work that needed to be performed, they would call with any questions prior to arrival. I expected that the plumber would arrive with the necessary supplies to perform the work requested and he didn't do any more than had been originally requested.

Over the past few years we've called Randy Lane Plumbing for a variety of problems and services. They have always been able to come to our house very quickly, they perform the job well and fast, the prices are fair and they offer helpful tips and honest information about what needs to be done now and what can wait--or what can be done instead. They are very professional and pleasant on the phone and offer consistently good service.

Came right away and did the work correctly.

They arrived within 15 minutes of scheduled time and completed work in 15 minutes.

When I called them, the scheduling was easy to work with. They came out on time, and did the job well. A worker came out and assessed the problem, and when I called to schedule an appointment a different plumber came out to install the faucets, but it still worked out okay.

I was not very happy with them. I am happy with the water heater itself. There were just little things that I wasn't too happy with. Specifically, we just put a new floor in and they spilled epoxy on my floor and they never cleaned it up. It wasn't as professional as we have had to dealt with other companies.

Project was done over several days...at my request.

Prompt, friendly and cleaned up afterwards. When I complained about the shower head performance, they returned promptly and corrected the issue I had.

They arrived, found problem, replaced seal, checked it out and left.

This is part of an overall bathroom project we've been working on for months. The plumber remembered the project, was able to get the parts he needed and complete this project quickly. He also spoke with our contractor to be sure this was done appropriately for the project. We are very happy with the service.

I called on a Thursday for an estimate, and a rep showed up on time on Friday morning. He was very professional--came in, inspected the bathroom & piping in the basement, gave me an estimate and scheduled a repair date for the following Monday--all within 15 minutes. The crew showed up on time on Monday as planned, came in, got the job done quickly and quietly, I inspected and signed off on the work and they left. I work from home and while they were drilling and working in the basement and on the first level they were quiet and it was not disruptive at all! Overall they were punctual, professional, got the job done efficiently and cleaned up without a trace--exactly what you want from someone you hire to work in your home.

I contacted them by e-mail the evening before and they called me first thing in the morning and came out that day. They fixed the problem, the person who came out was very pleasant and the price seemed reasonable. The one thing I was not happy with was the fact that they cut a hole in our upstairs newly painted wall because they believed the leak was higher up when in fact it proved to be exactly where we indicated it to be. So the plumbing was fixed, but we now have another problem to resolve. I believe he charged a little less as a result, but I'd far rather pay more and not have a hole in my wall.

I called them because I thought they knew what they were doing. The plumber had never worked on a faucet like mine and said he didn't know how to fix. I wasn't happy with them because of that and also he didn't secure a plumbing access door and when I went in there later the door fell on my ankle. He also charge 100 dollars just to fix the little stopper of my sink. I was just annoyed at first and then I got the bruised ankle and I was very unhappy.

They arrived on time, reviewed the work to be done and then promptly performed the repairs. The serviceman was courteous and knowledgeable. Very pleased with the work and believe the price is fair.

The technician told us exactly what he was going to do, did the work briskly and with confidence and competence, and had our water flowing again within the hour. My wife, who was here to oversee the project, felt secure that the technician was a true professional and his service bore that out.

Bob and Troy arrived on time. Consulted Bob about various plumbing related questions with our home. The problems arose when they were "done." The floor drain wasn't any better after they had snaked it out and they had installed a new drain plug that was not installed correctly as it glubbed air when the drain backed up. I was home while they worked and they never bothered to inform me they were installing a new drain plug. It's like if you brought your car in to a shop and they discovered your muffler shot so they just decided to go ahead and do it. Who does that?? Since the new plug bubbled they had made the problem worse. When I called I was given a redirect by the secretary and Troy. They both referred me to SOS and said it would be cheaper anyway. Cheaper than coming back and getting it done right? They had snaked the drain '25 and both told me that's as far as they went. I knew this wasn't true as they had snaked out the main line of my house a year or so before and I knew they had a bigger snake. Troy told me I should call SOS because "they have cameras and stuff." They are plumbers. It's a floor drain. I called again Monday and was told Bob would call me Tuesday morning. He did. After a brief and unpleasant discussion, Bob told me he and Troy would be over. They came promptly and said nothing after I let them in. Troy said, "we're done" as they left. It is fixed and working now. I'm pretty sure Troy was doing his apprenticeship with Bob. It was Troy's job to snake the drain, but I don't want Troy to be the one to take the blame. Bob failed in his oversight and there was a general failure to be honest about the situation. I thought I'd found my plumber with Randy Lane and Sons, but I'm done with them.

It was an extremely difficult problem, but they worked with me through the whole problem. They were also consistent in helping me to identify the problem and get it taken care of. They helped me to resolve everything very carefully and easily. They did a very nice job taking care of everything. They stuck with it until the job was finished.

It was just fine. He did the job he was supposed to do. He called back when he was supposed to, and he was on time. The job he did is good, and it works fine.

He was over an hour late, but was very professional and worked very fast. Fortunately I haven't needed a plumber in awhile, so I can't judge the rates/costs and I didn't have time to compare with other companies.

My experience with them was very good overall because they were on time and they did it right. They scheduled it really fast and made the whole process pretty easy.

They did an excellent job. We had a little bit of difficulty on the cost of the sink. After some discussion they adjusted the price and so I have only good things to say about them.

The job went smoothly. The delivery of the stove was late, but Al came back later in the morning and did not charge us extra. He was professional, polite and did excellent work.
