This is a very long story with a good ending. The next day we bought a new toilet, based on all of the information Donnie gave us as to which type of parts needed to be inside the tank so we would get one that had parts that could be repaired or replaced, so we thought. We asked the plumbing "expert", at the big box store, many times, if he was certain that we were getting what we asked for. Donnie came to install the new toilet but found it was not what we asked for. Fortunately, we had seen the same toilet at another supplier later that day, but we had already purchased the toilet. Donnie agreed to go to the second supplier to get the correct toilet. All in one day, he picked up the toilet, and installed it and didn't even charge for picking up and delivering. What could have been a even more frustrating experience was made better because of the amazing assistance by the company office in finding time in the days schedule to get Donnie back, and Donnie's great service and talent. In addition, they gave us a discount on the toilet and an Angie's list discount on the service. We ended up paying less for the toilet than we had at the big box retailer. Of course we took the first one back and got a refund. This is probably the best plumber I have even dealt with, and the most accommodating company. We'll never call anyone else for our plumbing needs.

I called them because there was a leak in the pipe that was attached to the toilet. They attempted to repair the leak, but as the valve system in the toilet was old, they suggested me to get a new toilet. I purchased a new toilet. They came back, and removed the old toilet and installed the new one. They knew what they were doing and did the job pretty quickly. Although, they had 2 visits to my house, they only charged me for 1 visit. They did a good job, and cleaned up the place, once the job was done. They were fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. My overall experience with them was good.

We have odd sized pipes because the house is old, but RL figured out how to fix our plumbing without having to replace everything.

I called in the afternoon on the day the leak appeared and decided to have them come out to my house the next day because I felt the leak wasn't that bad and it could wait. The leak proceeded to get worse and after a phone call, they helped me to slow the leak down for the night so that I didn't have to pay an overtime charge to have them come out at night. They were 1.5 hours late day of the scheduled service. This was due to the morning appointment running over but they never called to let me know they were running late. It would have been nice to get a call. Once they were at the house, they fixed the leak quickly and efficiently which ultimately saved me more money. So, other than a bit of a challenge with timing, they were great.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The phone quote was accurate on timing and price. The workers were prompt, and called ahead to ensure that I was available as scheduled. The work was completed efficiently, and he clearly explained the steps taken for resolution of my issue. Workers were polite & friendly. I'm very pleased with the service.

When I got a new dryer I needed the gas line that was from the old dryer removed our wall. This company took care of that for us. I like them a lot, they had good customer service. They were friendly on the phone and the worker that came out was good. They were a little expensive but it was worth the price.

Very positive experience. I called this morning and they offered several appointment times. I was very appreciative that they could come so quickly. The person on the phone was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Ben arrived promptly within the 2 hour window they offered. Really nice guy and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. He made quick work of the project and put in quality materials. He also took extra steps to clean out the drain, attach the pop-up, etc..

They sent in a couple of the crew members to do the job and they did a very good job. They have very good staff in their office, they are accommodating when things come up, because of which I was able to establish a relationship with them. I just had a frozen, pipe that had also burst and leaked, and they came over and went over their way to take care of it. I wasn't in town when this was done and they had to do all this on a rental property and they were able to fix it. It's nice when you can just call them up and trust them to come do the job for you with a good price. I had a very favorable experience. When I first got the bid, I thought it was high but, I got it done by time and material, and it was fine. I guess you have to ask for it.

They came out the next day and was prompt. Work was completed and we had no mess to clean up. He even answered questions about the plumbing in our basement.

After checking out the pipes and running a couple tests, we were told we in fact did not have a leak at all, but he identified where water was seeping out from the shower door. Recommended temporary fix before we replace/remodel.

They were very helpful, prompt, and their quality of work was excellent.

The service was scheduled before noon. The technician arrived at 9:30 and called prior to his arrival. He was very courteous and explained the pricing schedule before beginning the work. The garbage disposal had a loose wire. He reattached it and placed a protective cover so it wouldn't happen again. The toilet shut-off valve was replaced and he installed a new flapper and filler float.

Each time we called Randy Lane, they scheduled the work for the next day. Donny was fantastic and offered ideas on long term plans as well as addressing our current issues.

We're very happy with the service. There were some problems after the hookup that I couldn't troubleshoot. The person who did the work was kind enough to stop by and help us figure it out. It took him about 15-20 minutes to figure it out. They follow up on their work.

They were there, did the job, explained their pricing and said that there might be one leak. He came back to fix the leak. We were happy with them.

Showed up on time, fixed and out in less than 30 minutes. Impressed with the service.

Timely, efficient, clean, and reasonable cost.

I called and they sent Al out the next day. He repaired the toilet. It continued to run after he left. He stopped back at no extra charge, did more cleaning and after he left the second time, the running stopped. He offered to return on the same ticket if it started running again. Al is the most courteous and considerate plumber I've dealt with in my 50 years of calling plumbers.

Al, the person that did the work, was a great, wonderful person.

The service was fabulous! He knew exactly what was wrong, fixed the problem really quickly, and his work has been lasting. He was on time, and he was great to work with!

When I called the lady on the phone was able to assess that I needed to call a drain cleaning service. She was able to give me the name and number of a good one and told me that they would be less expensive then using Randy Lane for this type of service. I really appreciated their help finding the correct person for my needs. I was be calling them in the future for any plumbing that I need done.

Their installer Al showed up as scheduled and installed the disposal in 45 minutes. My wife indicated that he was friendly and professional. Al cleaned up everything -- when I came home from work, except for the new disposal and paperwork, there was no sign there had been any work done. I noticed that he charged more for the disposal than the office had quoted me. When I called, Mary told me that Al made a mistake and she changed the price before she ran the credit card charge. Ultimately, it ended up costing $34 less than we expected because we thought it may take an hour to install the disposal, and Al completed the work in 45 minutes. The breakdown of the $244 cost is $120 for the disposal, $134 for labor minus a $10 Angie's List coupon. We will not hesitate to call Randy Lane & Sons for future plumbing needs.

I was very happy with this company. They were great problem solvers, there was an obstacle with a wall that we had to get through and found a good way to get around it. They took care of everything needed with the city. And overall the project went over well.

Al came within 1/2 hr of my panicked call; took the new fittings apart and re-did; came back the next morning when new leaks appeared.
