These are the best people that have ever worked on my house. Their product was of high quality. The workers were extremely polite and confident. The work was done neatly, and most importantly perfectly.

Over all everything went great. I would definately use them again. I liked that my siding is made here in the U.S.A. that's important to me.

I decided not to go with them as their bid was too high. The guy who came out to do the bid was very knowledgeable and very personable, but unfortunately the price was high. I may use their service in the future depending on the project.

Our experience was good. They did just fine.

He came out on time and and with all the materials needed. He explained things very well. This was one of three bids I solicited but did not choose to go with him because his bid was the second highest of the three and because the the timeline he said would be necessary. Well in hindsight, I wish I had chosen him given my experience with the person I did select. The cost ended up being the same as his and the actual timeline of contractor who did do the work matched this places original estimate. In the future I will be calling them back if I need more roof work done!

Quarve Contracing was very professional in providing full information before contract signing, and very good phone communication from their office in scheduling the crew. I was impressed that they also assessed our site as a whole and recommended additional venting into the attic space to prevent ice dams (and they were happy to install these vents at no additional charge while they were here).

The sales person was very knowledgeable and professional. However once the work started they took almost 2 months to finish a job that they said would take about a week. Often they would start working on my house and leave before noon to do another job. They never had more than 2 people working on my house until the day before Thanksgiving when they showed up with an entire crew and demanded final payment before I left for work at 2pm and the job was nowhere close to being done. Thank god I withheld some funds because not only did they not finish for another week. Since then I have had problems with storm windows that they improperly re installed. The quality of the siding and the gutters is good.

The work that I had contracted to have done went very well. It was done as contracted and the work was of high quality and completed promptly. The company keeps the customer well informed of the work schedule, and any delays that may occur due to weather, etc. As I said, I trust this company to do the work that is contracted, and provide high quality work, at a reasonable cost.

We cannot adequately express how glad we are that we hired Quarve; their attention to detail & craftmanship were outstanding. The metal shingle roof we got is a lifetime roof that will never require replacement, and everyone at Quarve already understood that it had to be done right. Dave & Jon were the job leaders and know their craft very well. They did an amazing job of coordinating with our solar installer. They were onsite taking care of details, including custom bending each piece of flashing for the 40 solar standoffs, and removing and re-installing fascia to help the solar installation go more smoothly. They even ordered plumbing stacks and flashing for solar standoffs color-coordinated with the roof. No more unfinished steel plumbing stacks, the whole thing looks incredible and works even better! Coordinating with both the solar installer and another contractor during the roofing process required a lot of communication and opportunities for scheduling problems. Communication was coordinated through Julie at Quarve's office and mostly went well. It was great having her to work through strategy with! There are always challenges with these complex projects but any snags were quickly figured out to keep the project moving. I would say their communication was very good overall. We had bids that were lower cost than Quarve, but everyone always went the extra mile from sales through completion & walkthrough. Their expertise and attention to detail for this last-time-in-our-life roof was worth every penny.

Quarve provided an estimate for metal roofing. The sales guy was very prompt, thorough, professional. I thought he probably knew what he was talking about, even though he was a young guy. However, he bid a lot more bells and whistles for the exact same product for which I had received two other bids. I checked with the lowest bidder to see if they thought I'd need these other features, because I would have been willing to pay more for them (even with the lowest bidder). But the low bidder said those features were just not necessary. So ultimately I did not go with Quarve because 1)their bid was higher and 2) because they wanted to sell me features I probably didn't need. I'd contact them again though, for other work.

From the time I requested information and a quote they were a pleasure to work with. The info and estimate were done very quickly. When Pat came for the quote he brought an actual piece of siding and underlayment which was very nice. It also was not a sell job but just a good presentation of the work that would be done and how they would do it. When the crew of Kevin and Dustin arrived along with Pat they went over what was to be done and explained everything thouroughly. I choose two different trim colors and they made certain that the placing of the colors was exact. The crew of Kevin and Dustin were a delight. They answered any questions I had, were very pet friendly with dogs and cats. Very mindful of keeping the yard gates shut and cleaning up each day. They even set up all the equipment in the back yard so the dogs would have free run of the front yard. This meant they had to go up and down a large hill but they were concerned about the dogs and happy to do this. Even my neighbor across the street commented how pleasant and thoughtful the crew was. The job was completed quickly which was amazing given the fact I had this done in winter in the midst of our coldest weather. They also came up with a very cost effective way to make my round windows maintenance free which was something a competitor said could not be done. I am very pleased with the way the job turned out, extremely pleased with the crew and would definetly recommend them.

I talked to several roofers and got quotes from them. Quarve Contracting was referred to us by the person who did insulation work for us. We checked them on Angie?s List where they had good reports. He seemed very well informed and was able to answer questions. He told us what he was planning on doing. He gave us addresses of some houses that they had worked on that had steel roofs. We looked at them and found that they had done a good job on them. They did the work, and it took a long time; I appreciated that actually because it was not something that they could slap up in a day or two. They also put metal casing on some parts of the wood that needed repair. We spent somewhere between $25000 and $30000 for the work. There aren?t that many contractors that do metal roofs, and ours is an old house, probably built in the 30s, that has lots of valleys and so on. It is really hard to compare prices. If there is a need in the future, I would certainly talk to him and get a quote.

They specialize in seamless steel siding. I absolutely love them because of the quality of their work. They are on time and do what they say they are going to do. They are nice people too. They have different crew for roofing, siding and so forth. All are very polite and great to work with. They are just fantastic and there is nothing bad that I can say about them. I didn’t have to pay for the work as it was insurance covered.

They came out on time and cleaned up when they were done. They didn't waste time getting the job done.

I contacted Quarve to get the bid, a presentation was done at my home that lasted about 2 hours. I had tried to contact Chris regarding the insurance portion of the job, as he indicated he could work with the insurance company to assist the insurance company in re-evaluating the amount they would pay toward the roof replacement. He did not respond. I attempted him two weeks later and we discussed the insurance. I received additional quotes and spoke with him regarding the quotes and when I told him i had bids that were about 20% lower than Quarve, he offered me a $500.00 gas card and told me that the metal roof would qualify me for a tax credit. I had to remind him that the lower bid also qualified for the tax credit. I sought a $1,000 reduction in the cost of the roof, which wasn't as low as the other bid, but was a reduction of about 8% from the Quarve bid. Chris said that this pricing was below what was acceptable for the company. There was no counter-offer or any further attempt at negotiation. I had a good feeling about Quarve, but could not justify spending $2,500.00 more for a feeling.

They were wonderful. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and finished the work quickly.

Quarve Contracting did a good job but it took a little longer than I expected. They were professional. They cleaned up after themselves.

We were disappointed with Quarve because they had to come to our home five different days to complete our roof, when the job could have easily been completed in one day. The first day, about three-quarters of the job was done, but the crew did not tell us why they were not completing the job. The second day, no one from the office returned our telephone calls to tell us what was going on, and we were getting very anxious about why they did not complete the job on the first day. On the second day, they also sent a truck to remove the dumpster, again without telling us when or if they would complete our roof. The third day the crew worked for about half an hour. The fourth day they finally finished the job. And the fifth day they had to come back and collect their scraps and other left-over materials because they had removed the dumpster on day 2. All in all, we were not happy with our experience.

They showed up on time. They got the job done very quickly and efficiently. They cleaned everything up when they were finished. They answered any questions we had.

They did an excellent job got. Done in good time and cleaned up after them selves. I have recommended them to several of my friends. I would use these people again.

Pat the owner was excellent to work with. He was prompt, truthful, and responsive. The project started on time and the major portion went well and on time. Pat did an excellent job in finding the railing to color match the new siding. There were a few quirks but mainly due to miscommunication. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The inspector said he would hire them to do his house if he wanted seamless siding.

The price was way too high compared to the other bids, and the presentation was disjointed and hard to follow.

I am very pleased with Quarve Contracting. They were professional and pleasant to deal with from the first phone call. Pat Quarve met with me several times to discuss the work to be done, explain options, and make suggestions. I was especially impressed with his emphasis on quality work and attention to detail. Julie Quarve followed up to keep me aware of the crew schedule and just what would be done and when. She also checked in while the work was being done and after completion to be sure everything was OK. And everything did go great thanks to Dave and his crew. Dave was great about taking care of any concerns I had and explaining how things were being done. This is my first project since joining Angie's List, and thank goodness I did join. I had tried working with a couple of other contractors first, and I had no confidence in them. Then I joined the list, found Quarve Contracting, and now I have a ''new'' home without the old home worries and maintenance.

Pat Quarve was patient and easy to work with, was effective in presenting their products and related options, and kept us abreast of any scheduled material pricing changes. The roofing was completed quickly with tear-off and installation in a single day. The carpentry/siding crews led by Dave and Jon were professional, pleasant, focused and worked well together. Any questions and concerns we had were directly addressed by Dave or Jon and any problems that the crews found were presented to us along with options and recommendations. The crews were consistently on the job when expected and left the site clean and orderly daily. Julie Quarve did an excellent job of keeping us updated regarding overall scheduling, coordinating with us regarding our window availability, and letting us know when to expect the various crews. Overall this project was a positive experience and we look forward to enjoying a relatively maintenance free exterior on our home.

PAT QUARVE WAS VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH GETTING THE PLANS MADE WITH SOLID RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHAT COULD BE DONE. HE MADE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OTHER CONTRACTORS TO DO THE MASONRY (B&M HAZELWOOD MASONRY INC.) AND THE GARAGE DOOR COMPANY (ROD BUSTROM, AUTOMATIC GARAGE DOORS AND FIREPLACES) THAT BOTH ALSO DID EXCELLENT JOBS. THE PRICING WAS FAIR AND WAS PRESENTED WITHOUT THE PRESSURE TO ''SIGN UP TODAY OR THE PRICE WILL GO UP''. JULIE QUARVE WORKED WITH US ON SCHEDULING WITH THE JOB BEING STARTED EXACTLY WHEN IT WAS PROJECTED TO BE. THEY COORDINATED WELL WITH THE MASONRY CONTRACTOR ON BOTH THE DEMOLITION AND THE INSTALLATION. ANDY, OUR PROJECT LEAD, LET US KNOW WHAT WAS GOING TO BE DONE WHEN AND LISTENED WHEN WE HAD QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. THE CREW SHOWED UP PROMPTLY ON ALL THE EXPECTED WORK DAYS AND THE JOB WAS COMPLETED WELL WITHIN THE EXPECTED TIME. THE JOB SITE WAS CLEANED UP QUITE WELL AT THE COMPLETION OF THE JOB.
