I couldn't be happier with the experience. Richard was able to come the morning after I contacted him. He was very professional and efficient, but very nice. He was patient with my husband following him around asking questions. We have not seen any new mouse activity since he was here. He stands behind his work and when he was finished we were handed a 3 year guarantee. Outstanding!

He was very courteous. would never hesitate to call him again.

Rick warranties his work for 2 years, and he had no problem with our foam insulation. We have had to call him back twice, and he has been responsive. After that third visit a couple of weeks ago, so far so good. $900 is a lot of money, but he seems to really stand behind his warranty so I think it is worth it. I rationalize the cost as partly a service and partly "mouse insurance." We will see how the next two years go, and i will update this review if necessary. So far we are happy.

Sprayed chimney to remove bee colony which had moved in. Sealed cracks in chimney to prevent further insect entry. He had sealed our home foundation several years ago, which was effective at preventing mice from entering basement. Mice had started to enter again, so he sealed new cracks which had developed.

I called Terry about a wasps nest located in the crawl space of my garage. He eliminated the nest using a minimal amount to toxic chemicals and repaired a broken screen where the wasps had entered. I have had no problems with wasps since his visit.

Richard responded to my initial email right away and came out the next day - fantastic service and response. He was very helpful and did some foam caulking repairs that were above and beyond the service of exterminating a wasp nest. I will definitely use this company again for ongoing pest control services.

Personally, I think he is the best in the business! He is reliable, trustworthy and has high standards.

I'd recommend them because they seem to do the job. They were a little bit more expensive than other pest control services but they have a 3-year guarantee. The mice in the house never came back.

I think he's reasonably priced, compared to some of the bigger companies. The work is guaranteed through next year. He does a satisfactory job and he knows my house. He's been effective and doesn't try to sell you more than you need. He's always been reachable when I've needed to get in touch with him.

The gentleman did a fine job and checked on the situation regularly. Ultimately, the mouse problem has subsided.

Everything went well, and they safely removed the bat. We appreciated that they came so late in the evening as well.

We recently moved into a 1903 colonial home and we were dealing with an intense rodent issue. I spoke with Mr. Standish and he came out the next day. He was prompt, courteous and thorough. After a couple of hours of extensive searching, he explained where the mice were getting in and guaranteed that he could get rid of them. He did! Mr. Standish also noticed that we were getting our deck worked on and asked if we could call him when they tore up the decking, in the off-chance that mice were getting through that area. I called him two months later at 6 in the morning to let him know that they were tearing up the deck at 8. He showed up that morning and did another thorough inspection, free of charge. Since our extermination, we haven't had any pests. I highly recommend him!

Service and price details When we talked on the phone, Mr. Standish gave me a preliminary estimate after describing details about our house. The price was higher than I wanted to pay, but it was in line with some of the reviews I had already read on Angie's List. I decided to use Professional Pest control because I wanted to take care of this situation and I was impressed by their two year guarantee. On the day of the appointment , Mr. Standish arrived promptly. We walked around the house for about 10 minutes and he quickly found spots where he said mice were likely to be entering the home. For the next two hours, he worked to seal up the entry points using a variety of techniques: concrete, wood repair, metal screening, etc. He said it could take up to two weeks for any remaining mice to leave the house, but it only took a couple of days. Since then, there have been no more mice. And if one does return, the guarantee gives me peace of mind that Professional Pest Control will return. Anyone with a little bit of "handy-man" skills could repair the entry points like Mr. Standish did, but it's Mr. Standish's experience that allowed him to find where the mice were entering. So he's really selling solutions, not simple repair work.

We had spiders and some mice. He was able to take care of everything. He was very knowledgable and did excellent work.

The phone was answered by Richard when I called. We set up an appointment for the next day. Richard was early. He called when he was nearby. He was courteous and efficient. He explained exactly what he was going to do. He also gave advice on dealing with the wasps in the future. The price he charged was the price quoted on the phone.

They did work for me. Actually they did work and at the time, they said that for one year, they guarantee no ants will come back. Ants did come back in a tree, and they came back and repeated the service for free and now I'm ant free for two years. I didn't remember who i used and i called a few people and they called me back and I booked them and the person called me back and said "i remember coming to your house". I would go back to Professional Pest Control. The recent one, they sprayed the perimeter and an area in the house the ants where in. I would say that if another company offers a monthly service, and Professional Pest Control gives offers a 2 year warranty, which from recent conversation is what i understand he does, that’s a free warranty. Why would you pay every month, it doesn't make any sense.

I chose Professional Pest Control because of it's high Angie's List ratings, use of environmentally friendlier chemicals and proximity to my house. Richard Standish responded immediately to my phone call, came out that day to check on the problems, fixed what he could that day and came back a couple of days later, as promised, to remove the nest and check the traps in the fireplace. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professionally, charged me a very reasonable amount and did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. I was grateful to have the problems fixed so easily and it was an all around good experience.

They were very good. THey came out right away, he was willing to come the same day. He was very friendly. The clean up could have been a bit better. But, I would recommend them, the service was very good.

Richard was terrific: He was punctual, respectful of our wish to use non-toxic products, thorough in his explanation of the problem and solution, and methodical in his application of the product to rid us of the pavement ants in our basement.

I have had multiple experiences with him. Richard Standish is the name of the owner. He is completely honest and completely trustworthy. He is a great professional. He is careful. He is attentive to not over poisoning. He seems to care about the environment. He also guarantees his work. I can't say enough good things about him. He is fabulous. It's been several years since I've used him, but he is the one that I would call without a doubt. I have recommended him on a number of occasions.

I came home from work and found a bat flying around my dining room and living room. I grabbed my cell phone, ran out of the house, and called Angie's list to get a list of service providers that removed bats. I called the closest company, Professional Pest Control and explained that I was outside because I had a live bat flying around inside, and was looking for someone that could come this afternoon. He gave me a price, showed up in minutes, and from the time I called to the time the bat was gone was less than 10 minutes (ironically less time than I was on hold to Angie's list to get the phone number.) He quoted my $100.00, but with the Angie's list discount the price was $80.00 (and he offered the discount!) I would use this company again. When I called he asked if the door to the basement was shut - so I snuck in and shut the basement door and other doors, as I could see the bat hanging on a curtain and not flying around. I would not have thought to shut those doors to make it easier to catch the bat. Luckily the bat was still hanging on a curtain when he got here.
