Left a message on Sunday night after discovering a busy hornet's nest in the foundation of our home. Received call back right away and the hornet nest was treated Monday afternoon. Very knowledgeable, prompt and haven't seen a hornet by the old nest since!

I had an idea where the mice might be entering and decided to try exclusion in that area myself. Rich offered knowledgable suggestions on how to monitor success. Would call him for sure if I end up needing to take further measures.

This was my first experience with Professional Pest Control and I couldn't have been more pleased. Rick was here within a day after my phone call and did indeed confirm that I had carpenter ants. Due to his knowlege and professional manner I felt very confident when he left that the problem had been resolved. This company does indeed deserve all the positive reports on Angie's list.

I called Rich about an estimate and he was here the next day. The work was performed quickly and thoroughly, ridding my house of the pavement ants that have been appearing with increasing frequency. I haven't seen one since he left. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and FAST.

He was just really great. He wasn't cheap, but he came out 6 times and provides a 3 year warranty.

Rick described his services thoroughly and originally told that typical bat exclusions are $1500 and up (this matches other companies' estimates). However, when I described our house (three stories and more than 4K square feet), suddenly his estimate shot up to 5-7K. I have now hired a company that specializes in bat exclusion for just 2K. They know bats; that's all they do. They are experts, and they don't charge more simply because the assume you have a higher household income.

The company name says it all. Ric know his job and got rid of my bats. The price is high, but he is fair and easy to work with. He will go out of his way to make you completely happy.

He was on time, knowledgeable and very calmly handled the situation. The nest was huge, and there were swarms of hornets. He is very bright and reassuring. He did a great job. I was glad to see he is on Angie's List. He definitely deserves the reports he's received.

We had a bat in the house and called Richard to get it out, and to seal up the attic where the bats were making their home. He uses one way nets, so that the bats can get out, but not back in. Then he came back a week later to seal up the holes. It was expensive, but he gives a 5 year guarantee that there will be no bats. So far so good!

Richard came to our house and surveyed the property (crawled under front deck, back porch, etc.) Sealed and cemented entry points into the house from exterior, set traps and provided 2 year exclusion guarantee. In the spring (ground thaws), Richard will return to screen fireplace chimney - no extra cost. We have had no issues with mice since Richard's services.

It is now December and I am finally reporting on the work that Richard did for me in the spring. I have waited to make sure that autumn would be mouse-free, the ultimate test of pest control! I chose Professional Pest Control because I appreciate their focus on *preventing* mice from getting in the house, rather than merely killing them once they are there. At first I was a bit put off by the $500 fee, because Richard was here for much less than an hour. I later learned why he charges so much. It takes time to make sure all the holes are covered, and in some cases the mice even dug new holes. Richard ended up coming out about four more times to get all the possible holes covered. Now I have been mouse-free for at least two months, during a season in which I am sure I would have seen them if they had gotten in. Richard gave a three-year guarantee for his work. Even if I would have to call him again because of some new holes, I am very happy!

I THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE HAD A BUG PROBLEM, SO I USED PROFESSIONAL PEST CONTROL INC. TO DO AN ESTIMATE. THEY CHARGE $150 FOR A SIMPLY VISIT/INSPECTION. SEEMED A LITTLE HIGH, AND MAYBE SOME PLACES DO IT FOR FREE OR LESS, BUT I DIDN'T CHECK INTO IT. ALTHOUGH HE SHOWED UP LATE (ABOUT 45 MINUTES), HE DID A THOROUGH JOB, AND DETERMINED THAT THE HOUSE DIDN'T HAVE A BUG PROBLEM. I KNEW I HAD MICE, AND HE HAD GOOD EXPLANATIONS/SUGGESTIONS FOR HOW TO HANDLE THAT SITUATION. I WOULD'VE BEEN LIKELY TO USE HIM HAD I NEEDED ADDITIONAL SERVICES.

RICHARD HAD ALREADY COME OUT 1 YEAR AGO TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON SMALL ANTS, BUT SINCE THEY DON'T DO DAMAGE, I DIDN'T WANT TO KILL THEM. I HAD BEEN IMPRESSED WITH RICHARD THEN, SO CALLED HIM BACK THIS TIME. HE WAS THOROUGH AND TOTALLY WORKED AROUND MY TIME CONSTRAINTS. I HAVE COMPANION BIRDS & EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO HAVE THEM OUT OF HERE, HE STILL WAS CAREFUL WITH WHERE HE SPRAYED AND MADE SURE I KNEW EVERYWHERE THAT HE DID. IN ADDITION, HE MADE SURE THAT I KNEW HOW LONG THE SPRAY HAD TO STAY DOWN BEFORE CLEANING AND HE WAS CLEAR IN ALL OTHER INFORMATION. THE INFORMATION HE GAVE ME WAS VERY HELPFUL & I APPRECIATED IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM.

RICK RETURNED MY CALL PROMPTLY AND CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED. ALTHOUGH HE SAID IT WAS A LITTLE EARLY TO SPRAY FOR THE BOX ELDER BUGS, I WAS STARTING TO SEE MANY OF THEM. HE SPRAYED THE YARD AND HOUSE AND TOLD ME HE WOULD COME BACK IN ABOUT 6 WEEKS TO DO A TOUCH UP IF I NEEDED IT. I DIDN'T NEED THE FOLLOW UP, BUT RICK CALLED TO FOLLOW UP AND CHECK TO SEE IF I NEEDED ANOTHER TREATMENT. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL DEFINITELY USE HIM EVERY YEAR.

MY FINISHED BASEMENT WAS OVERRUN WITH SPIDERS. HE WAS EASY TO REACH TO SCHEDULE THE EXTERMINATION. HE WAS LATE FOR OUR APPOINTMENT, BUT DID CALL. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH IN SPRAYING THE BASEMENT AND ANYWHERE ELSE THE SPIDERS MIGHT BE. IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS I HAVE NOT SEEN A SPIDER. I AM PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE.

I CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE ON THE MOUSE REMOVAL/EXTERMINATION. OUR CONVERSATION WAS A LITTLE DISJOINTED AND I HUNG UP UNSURE THAT HE COULD FIX OUR PROBLEM. HIS ESTIMATE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER THAN HIS COMPETITORS.

IT WAS GREAT - I CALLED, HE CAME OUT THAT DAY AND I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY ANTS (OR ANY OTHER BUGS) SINCE. WONDERFULLY INFORMATIVE AND ON TASK.

I DISCOVERED (THE HARD WAY) A HORNET NEST DIRECTLY OVER MY FRONT DOOR ON A FRIDAY AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS. I CALLED 2 OTHER COMPANIES, BUT NONE WERE OPEN AND NEITHER RETURNED MY CALLS. I LEFT A MESSAGE ON RICHARD'S PHONE. HE RESPONDED WITHIN THE HOUR. AT FIRST HE SAID IT WAS AFTER HOURS BUT HE COULD BE OUT THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. HE LISTENED PATIENTLY AS I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND AGREED IT WAS AN EMERGENCY. HE ALSO EXPLAINED THERE WOULD BE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR THE OFF-HOURS WORK. I FOUND IT WAS REASONABLE AND WE SET AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT MORNING. HE CALLED BACK A SHORT TIME LATER AND ASKED IF HE COULD COME BY SOONER. (!?!) HE SHOWED UP AT THE APPOINTED TIME, IDENTIFIED THE NEST, EXPLAINED WHAT HE WOULD DO, THEN DID THE JOB IN UNDER 20 MINUTES. RICHARD WAS QUICK, RESPONSIVE, PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY RESPECT, AND REASONABLE IN PRICE. I COMMEND HIM FOR HIS GREAT ATTITUDE AND HIS RESPECT FOR MY CONCERNS. I WILL USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM.

LATE ONE EVENING SEVERAL WEEKS AGO WE HAD A BAT IN OUR HOUSE AND THE NEXT DAY FOUND A BAT TRAPPED BETWEEN OUR WINDOWS. RICHARD ARRIVED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR AND REMOVED THE BAT FOR $100 AND THEN GAVE US A BID OF $600 TO PREVENT ANY BATS FROM GETTING BACK INTO THE HOUSE. HE GUARANTEED HIS WORK FOR 5 YEARS. AFTER PERFORMING THE WORK WE HAD THREE OR FOUR BATS IN THE HOUSE THE NEXT FOUR NIGHTS. RICHARD SAID THAT THE BATS WERE ALREADY IN THE HOUSE AND THAT WE NEEDED TO GET THEM OUT OF THE HOUSE FOR HIS SOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE. AFTER 6 NIGHTS WITHOUT BATS WE HAD ANOTHER SINGLE BAT ENTER THE HOUSE. WE CALLED RICHARD AGAIN AND HE CAME BACK AND RE-DID SOME AREAS THAT HE THOUGHT THEY MAY BE USING TO GET BACK IN. THREE MORE BATS WERE FOUND IN OUR HOUSE IN AS MANY NIGHTS AFTER THAT FOLLOW UP VISIT. IT'S BEEN OVER A WEEK AND WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY MORE BATS. GIVEN THE PROBLEMS THAT WE HAD IT IS DIFFICULT TO RATE PPC, INC. I WILL SAY THAT RICHARD WAS ACCESSIBLE AND RESPONSIVE.
