I called Richard at 5 pm on one day and he came out the next day at 8 am to do the work (he apparently does not have employees and does the work himself). His telephone estimate was $750 but after inspecting the house he lowered his fee to $600. He also provided an 18 month guarantee. This may be somewhat more than some competitors charge but I thought he was worth it. He spent about three hours at my house including his initial assessment. He is very knowledgeable and proficient. He did most of the work from outside and caulked after he inserted his spray tube in the wood. He also sealed up some spaces where mice may find access to the house. He answered my wife's questions about the safety of the insecticides he uses for dogs and humans. He is very pleasant and professional and I would think that anyone would be comfortable having him in their house.

Great; no more ants. Not too smelly. Perfect. Nice guy. This is the 3rd year in a row we've used him for ants in the spring, works like a charm each time.

We have used Richard for 7 years. He has removed mice and bats for us. We have a house that was built in 1929 so there are a lot of areas that animals can come in. Each time he comes we are rid of the animals for a year or so. This year we had our house painted and the painter sealed everything up, we thought. We heard little noises in our basement this spring and called Richard and he went around the house and found a couple possible spots and one big spot. He repaired the areas and we haven't heard a peep or scratch since. We recommend him without reservation.

The mouse problem seemed particularly bad this fall. Richard identified the problem and after that I had no more mice coming into my house.

I had an excellent experience. Rick came to my house during the day and inspected my attic from the inside, and prepped the roof from the outside. He came back in the evening and spent a good amount of time in the dark closing the entry and exit holes in the roof. This was last fall, and I've checked for "traces" this year. So far, nothing! Very pleased! When he was here I had also asked him if mice could get up to my attic. He was doubtful, but did show me a couple holes around my foundation where mice could get into the house itself. Although I hadn't had any mice troubles (yet), I had heard a sound in my wall that could have been bat/mouse, so I decided to have him fill in any places he saw in the foundation. This included having him cut a hole in my grating under my front porch, and crawling around under there and filling in any holes (there were quite a few as I suspected). Well worth the cost!

I called Richard because I had a number of spiders in my home and back porch. Richard asked a lot of questions, and gave me an estimate over the phone. After several attempts to meet my schedule, Richard came at the designated time. He did a thorough job spraying for the bugs and he answered my questions. He also identified and filled a hole that mice were entering my home through. He had seen the DeCon and mice droppings during his spraying for the bugs.

I noticed some "bees" at the entrance to our pool. They were very aggressive; they chased and stung me and my husband. We tried some things on our own that we got off the Internet (flooding, putting a tarp over) but just got stung and the bees were still there. I called this company and he came next morning and put Delta Dust into the nest. He came back a few hours later to check and treat again to be sure. The bees are gone. He did this for us six summers ago, too, when we had the same problem and we were so pleased with his service, we kept his number. His service is personal (you'll talk to him when you call), prompt, and thorough. He guaranteed his work both times. At first glance, $150 may seem expensive for eliminating bees, but I don't mind paying it for someone so responsive.

He took a look at the chimney and assured us it was sealed up. He caulked around some areas that might be vulnerable and checked the attic. He also sprayed for spiders.

Richard was very professional from the first phone call to set up the appointment, to when he came out to do the job. He detected two areas of carpenter ant infestation/nests. He is extensively knowledgeable about pest control and answered all of my questions about the safety of the products used. In my opinion he went above and beyond what I expected, sealing areas of potential entry around our dormer (we have a one and a half story bungalow), and going into all of the cubby spaces on the second floor. I even called a couple of weeks later with a few questions and he was just as professional and helpful. My daughter is so ecstatic that there are no more "big black ants"! And, so are we!

Richard was fantastic! I found the ants enjoying my cats' food early on a Sunday morning. I called Richard's number and he answered personally. He (reasonably) couldn't make it that day but arranged to be at my house between 9 and 10 a.m. on Monday. He arrived as scheduled and looked around to see what needed doing. After explaining what he found and what he planned on doing, he went right to work. Nice little touches - he took off his shoes upon entering my house without me even asking and he increased his guarantee from 4 to 6 months because he doesn't believe the problem will recur anytime soon. I would highly recommended Richard! His price was a bit higher than others I was told about but I believe that it was well worth the money.

Timely, professional. Provided additional advice and guidance on continued pest control. Pricey compared to other providers, but you get what you pay for and would definitely use Professional Pest Control Company for follow-up visits.

He came promptly, he used stuff that wouldn't hurt our daughter or cat, he was friendly, he was efficient, he provided a four-month guarantee. And then the ants were gone! What more could you want? It was perfect.

Job 1: Great. Problem was bats. In the call, he told me how to take care of the problem myself. We chose to have him come out b/c he was in the area. I discussed ongoing mice problems w/him & hired him. His knowledge of pests & how they get in is very extensive. Rick was much more thorough in plugging up the places they get in. I relied on the Angie's list for all the reports, & didn't call anyone else. Job 2: Rick did a exclusion on the house for bats & mice in Aug. He said that we may see a couple in the next wks that were already in the house, but if we were still seeing them after 3 wks, to call. In Oct., we starting seeing mice again. I called Rick & he came out. He removed the trellis from the deck, crawled underneath & found a couple of holes that he sealed. In over a mth, we haven t seen any more mice. I was so impressed with how quickly Rick responded to my 2nd call & came to rectify the problem. I really felt that my house was a priority w/him & getting entry points plugged.

He came out the same day and took care of the problem. He thoroughly explained everything he did and gave us an 18 month guarantee! This whole experience was surprisingly pleasant. We'll definitely call him again if we ever have another pest problem.

Very well. Richard was very professional, and he took the time to make sure the job got done right. His original estimate was very high (around $900), but he explained that that was for the super heavy duty 10-year guarantee. I went with a slightly less extensive process, which he let me know about at the same time as the original estimate. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He does not just use traps or poisons very much, only minimally. He prefers to take care of the problem at the room where they are getting into the house.

I hired Rich in September and purposely withheld writing this report until after the latest cold snap. I have not seen any sign of mice since about 3 days after Rich's visit. I would recommend Rich to anyone plagued with mice infestation. I cite three distinctions that separate him from everyone else. 1.) When you call you talk to him, the owner and operator, the lines of communication are firmly established. 2.) He addresses your specific pest issue. He did not hit me up with a ''protection package.'' An unnecessary service which treats pests that are not a problem, such as earwhigs, silverfish, etc. 3.) He is an innovator. He is the only exterminator who proposed a method to seal up my foundation from the inside. This was necessary because my low lying deck rendered a portion of the foundation inaccessible from the outside. The others wanted nothing to do with it unless I ripped up my deck. I do not know if this was effective or not, but at least he was not afraid to address.

They did great work. I haven't seen an ant since the time there were here.

He arrived as he had promised and determined that the spray we had done appeared to solve the problem. He said he did not want to charge us if it may not be necessary. He said to call back if the problem reoccured. Very professional approach!

While other companies I called just returned an estimate, Richard talked with me over the phone to better determine what kind of wasp/hornet I was dealing with. Turned out they were paper wasps. Richard offered to remove the nests (his quote was highly competitive by the by) but passed along that they are very common and not an aggressive species. It could well be a do it yourself job. A can of RAID later, my problem was solved. I really appreciated Richard's honesty. If I need extermination services in the future, he's going to be my first call.

Job was done the same day we called. Very professional - explained the potential need for up to three treatments and costs involved before starting the work.

His work was guaranteed for 9 months, and he stood by that promise without batting an eye. Our infestation was rather extensive and he made two follow-up visits within 3 weeks to get previously undetected nests. On one of those returns, he came the same day that I called, which was very impressive. In general, he had a very friendly demeanor and took the time to explain what he was doing. He also as very friendly with and mindful of our baby as he did his work. I highly recommend his services! I did not do a price comparison, so I can't comment on the relative market for extermination. However, I felt it was a fair price.

Rich Standish was very prompt, efficient and pleasant. He came the same day, I called him. I told him that, I had three nests to exterminate, and he quoted me $150 over the phone. After coming to my home, he concluded that I actually had four nests, with two located close to each other. He exterminated all four, for the same price he had quoted for three. He also returned a few days later to treat one nest, that had been difficult to access, a second time.

It turns out that they were earwigs; I was so relieved! He did a wonderful job explaining what I was seeing & my options over the phone. Having nothing done was definitely a choice. I did not feel pressured by him or overly concerned about the problem, but I choose to be on the safe side. He came out the next day and was able to be there while I was at work. He's GREAT!
