Porcelite Bathtub Refinishing

It was a good experience and the difference is stunning. The hard water made terrible stains, the resurfacing made it look like new. It was a fairly quick process. I also had a non -slip surface added and I am so glad that I did that. The one thing that I didn't expect is the care of the tub and sink. With the new surface, it needs special care and a bathmat can not be used.

Everything went smoothly. Refinished a tub that had been refinished by another vendor a couple of years ago and that finish had already failed. Now the tub looks good as new again. The worker showed up on time and completed the work in the time that was allocated.

Work was excellent. It looks like new. All of my calls were answered or returned promptly.

I was amazed at how great the old tub looks now. It looks brand new! We wanted to keep our old tub since it is unique but it had yellowed over the years. I suspect the year of the tub was somewhere in the 1950's. The tub is now bright white and looks awesome. I would highly recommend Porcelite!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PORCELITE REFINISHING!! I had Porcelite out 3 weeks ago to have a tub refinished and a few days after service realized that jewelry was missing from the top of my dresser. Not just a few items but thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. Technician had been in and out of bedroom running ventilation out of window next to my dresser. I called the company and was told the owner would contact me. Was not contacted and called again and when I reached out to owner she was irritated and dismissive. Basically I was told it was his word against mine. I had the police come and they deduced that it was definitely NOT an intruder and that it was someone who was allowed in our home (we have a dog and security in place). They created a case file and reached out to local pawn shops. Again, reached out to Porcelite but again was told that the technician was "like family" and that they didn't believe he would take anything. Well they won't make a claim and I am missing two wedding sets, a diamond tennis bracelet and a small sterling and pearl ring. Totalling around 7-8 thousand dollars. But again.. I am told that the tech says he didn't take anything. Save yourself the heartache and do NOT allow this company into your home. This has been a horrible and heartbreaking experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND..

The process takes a half day. The service provider took special care to ventilate the area while he worked. The tub surface is beautiful!

The tech arrived on time and put down drop cloths and a vent fan out a nearby window. He checked with me throughout the process for approval to continue. The job was complete and cleaned up in less than 4 hrs. There was a small run in the finish that we scheduled rework on. The same tech came back and repaired the surface quickly. We are pleased with the finish and caulking performed.

The bathtub looks great. The guy that came out was a wonderful guy. He put a retro fit in my drain for free because it was needed and he didn't charge me anything for it. I would say that the caulking job was not great. It was a little iffy, not a deal breaker for me. I would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them to other people. I think we hired them maybe 2 months ago in January of 2017. I think it was $450. I don't think I checked around enough on price comparison.

It looks like a new tub! It was done in a timely, professional manner. Victor is a gem!!! What a sweetheart! He was on time, knew what he was doing - got in there, did it and left with only a much nicer tub to show for it! I highly recommend him!!!!

Good. The technician was late, but the weather wasn't the greatest.

The caulking around the tub had to be redone after the first application was a mess. The installer wasn't familiar with the product he was asked to use and didn't follow up prior to application when he had issues. They had to come back out and use their product and even that application was less than professional. The installer left epoxy residue on my brand new tile floor and dust and debris through my hallway and my son's bedroom. While the finish on the tub looks good, if you feel the surface the coating is uneven. I would not recommend this provider and would definitely use someone else.

It looks like a total remodel for only $1300. We painted the vanity and replaced the faucet and it looks great.

This time the finish has some "draping" and less-than-perfect-look to it

The bathtub and walls are still going strong and still look beautiful! So glad Porcelite did this work for me!

Bathroom had dark green sinks and toilet.....(outdated and unattractive) ....spa tub was creamy white. We replaced the toilet and, as the sinks were in very good shape I decided to try refinishing......these were all Kohler fixtures including very expensive hardware and replacement cost would have been four to five times higher. Porcelite matched the Kohler color - Biscuit - perfectly. The installer did an excellent job, resulting in a cohesive, clean appearance and huge improvement. He left everything spit-spot. Very satisfying solution.....looks great.

It went great, the tub is beautiful! There was no overspray everything was clean after they left. They gave me a quote on the phone, after approval they scheduled the project. They were on time, professional and personable. Thanks Porcelite.

They did a great job. It took about 4 hours. They added a retrofitted drain and overflow plate as well last the non-slip texture on the bottom. The bathtub looks brand new.

They arrived on time and installing the inlay only took about 30-45 minutes. The inlay worked for almost a year. The crack has since re-emerged, rendering the their work useless. Not sure if I would use this service if your crack is anywhere near the side of the bottom of your tub.
