Porcelite Bathtub Refinishing

He arrived exactly on time, clean-cut, personable, very experienced and professional. He worked non-stop, had everything in order. Everything he did was perfection (the painting, re-grouting, etc.). He was a breath of fresh air.

The project went as planned the bathtub looks great and appears to be holding up to the wear and tear from our renters.

They arrived on time, did a great job, price was reasonable. Very professional.

They have the process down. The phone estimate was accurate. Andy arrived on time and took as long as he said it would take. He was very professional and left virtually no mess. (How often does that ever happen?) We left for the weekend so there was no problem letting the new surface cure for 48 hours. I recommend Porcelite to anyone and would use them again. My husband and I are never going to live with a dingy tub ever again.

Andy was very professional and did a great job! He was running late, and called me twice to apologize and to let me know when he would arrive. While he was here, he was very neat, professional and had me check in on him as he was working to show me how the process worked. He made sure all surfaces were protected, worked very cleanly, and cleaned up very well after he was done. He explained how to care for the new surface in detail and said to be sure to call if we had questions or issues at all. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

They came out to give a bid and was extremely professional. They did a very thorough job and the finish was done very well. We were pleased with the outcome.

Everything about the project went very smoothly. The in-home estimator arrived promptly and was very helpful and professional. They arrived on time on the day that was scheduled. There were no surprises. The tub and tile turned out very good.

Although it just finished curing and we haven't used the tub yet, it looks fantastic...like a brand-new tub; a night-and-day improvement over its previous condition. Andy was polite, punctual, and informative on the restoration process and maintenance of the tub. He also did a nice with caulking around the tub and tile after he completed the refinishing process. We highly recommend Porcelite without reservation.

Andy was prompt, professional, and very informative. We talked through all the care and maintainence insturctions. They called to confirm the appointment the day before, and they followed-up two days later to verify that we were still completely satisfied with the results. Andy did good work and keep the house/floors clean.

Dan, who provided the estimate and answered my questions on the initial appointment and Andy who did the work over the three days necessary, were both on-time and courteous. All questions were promptly answered and Andy informed me of the progress during the restoration work. Andy took the time necessary to do the job properly and took extreme care to protect the new wallpaper in the first floor bathroom above the areas where he had to apply Porcelite to the tile. I am very pleased with the result! The tub looks as if it was new!

Wonderfully. Andy came in, acid etched the tub, patched "dings", put several layers (6-8) of Porcelite down and we have a "new" tub.

Andy, from Porcelite, took an old, stained and scratched cast iron bathtub and made it look like new again. The process they use, completely cleans the tub, eliminates scratches/chips and gives it a final finish that looks as good as the original finish. Andy was timely, informative, thorough and completed the work in about 4 hours.

I am completely happy with the process from first contact to the end result. My bathtub was in bad shape and now it looks like a brand new tub! It took about 4 hours total and Andy was polite, friendly, and professional. He sanded down the old finish and sprayed the new coating, including a textured non slip bottom and a new drain as well. What a difference!

From first contact to final product, Porcelite was very professional and appeared very honest and positive. Adam and I discussed how he would not talk poorly about competitor's and from the beginning Porcelite has built their business on the good work they do and positive experiences. Adam hauled the tools and equipment up my apartment stairs without complaint, laid out drop clothes to protect my floors, sealed off the parts near the bath tub with plastic and tape, hooked-up ventilation to minimize fumes and cleaned-up after himself on completion. The only remainder of him was a beautiful tub and a friendly piece of tape and a sign warning me not to use the tub for 48 hours. Some paint did peel from the tape used, but that was in a soft spot in my bathroom and I don't blame Porcelite for that.

Great service, and very professional

I found the Porcelite company on Angie's List. They had consistent high grades, so I called them. Both Dan and Andy were very pleasant to work with and very knowlegeable. They adjusted their schedule to meet our remodeling schedule. Dan answered all my questions regarding the new tub surface. Andy called before he came to confirm the service date & time. He arrived on time and quickly and professionally completed the tub resurfacing. He left everything in good order and cleaned up after himself. It was nice to get the $25 dollar Angie's List discount, too! I'm sure that if we follow the care guidelines that Porcelite gave us for the tub we can expect more than satisfactory use of this new tub! It looks great! Thank you Andy & Dan! I would recommend this company and use them again!

They did a terrific job. They are great. They were more expensive than others but I have no complaints.

I called and got a quote, scheduled a date and got the service done. They called to confirm the appointment in advance, came when they said they would and did a very nice job. It looks brand new. I didn't think it looked too bad to begin with, but what a difference!

It was a good experience from the first phone call to the completion of the project. The work was scheduled and completed within 2 weeks. The actual refinishing took only 4 hours. Andy did the work, and he was efficient and polite beyond belief.

Our bathtub had been refinished 20 years ago and was beginning to show wear. We called Porcelite and were able to get an estimate over the phone and an appointment set up within a week or so. Andy showed up when promised and spent a lot of time removing the old finish and applying the new one. The drain had been damaged from chemicals and he added a retrofit for that and the overflow. Andy explained in detail how to take care of our new tub. He was professional and courteous. The tub looks great!

They were great. They came very promptly and the guy was excellent. They did exactly what they said and picked up after themselves. We were very pleased with them and were happy we found them on the list!

Dan came out promptly after our contractor called him in to repair 2 new cracked acrylic/fiberglass tubs. Our home was damaged from a fire and had to be completely rebuilt. The one piece tubs were the first things installed and were covered to protect them during the remainder of the rebuild processes. When it was time to move in--about 5 months later, we discovered that each of the tubs had small cracks in them--at the same place on each of them--hard to tell why and where these cracks happened. We were just heartsick and extremely irritated at that point. Dan came in and was able to patch the tubs so that it is undetectable unless you know exactly where to look. He was able to match the color and blend everything together and match the finish of the tubs. Since the work was done under the home repair contractors warranty, I do not know the cost of this service.

Much easier and neater than I expected. Had thought about other processes, but we're very happy with the final product. Looks brand new.
