It went fine overall. It took about an hour.

It went well. Chris wrote up the estimate and the project was seamless from start to finish. Chris explained the fact that Patrick construction was a master shingler and the quality of the work was pure craftsmanship. He was correct. All the workers were respectful and their cleanup was superb! Thank you!

It went really well. Chris and his crew worked really hard and put a really nice roof on. The were were very conscientious and cleaned up the yard after finishing. Cris was determined that we were happy with the work performed.

I missed the late September/early October deadline for the "Big Deal' roof maintenance and sealing, but decided to have Patrick inspect my roof at the full price anyway because of a few concerns I had. Patrick came on time and got right to work. He quickly looked over my roof and vents and sealed about 6 nails. He even took pictures to show me the areas I was concerned about and reassured me that my roof was in good condition. To my surprise, he said that there was no charge for the job. What a awesome surprise! This job could have cost me $399 (full price). On top of all this, he was courteous, very professional, and helpful. If I decide to have my gutters upgraded, I would not hesitate to call him.

Pat was very nice to work with he gave us an honest answer on the condition of our roof and did not try to sell us anything we did not need. I will give Pat a call when I need to have more work done on my roof.

Patrick Miller Construction kinda seemed arrogant. His prices were extraordinarily high. He didn't listen to what I wanted. The remarks I found on Angie's List about him were right. He estimated $2300 higher than the other company.

Sealed, patched the roof and provided the report. It was a deal through Angie's List. Good communication

Date was set for a presentation and P. Miller's individual was prompt, knowlegeable and courteous. I was NOT able to convince my association's board that they should approve the purchase of a new entry door. * Quality was NOT an issue. These are beautiful doors - made to last a lifetime with the warranty to back it. Had to take another path.

The guy who came out was on time and very friendly. He spoke to my wife about what he found and showed pictures. He said the roof would likely need to be replaced. I tried calling him to understand his recommendation and get a quote for the recommended work my self. He was pretty difficult to get ahold of and in the beginning would never answer the phone and only call me back while I was at work despite my leaving my work hours on his voicemail. We finally did connect and he was very pleasant on the phone and even emailed the pictures he took to me. He recommended the new roof and I asked for a quote -- he said he would need to put that information together. I said ok and asked him to email it to me. After three weeks and asking several times over the phone and via email for the information, he has refused to give me a quote. He originally wanted to meet even though I told him, that probably wouldn't work out given how hard it had been to even get him on the phone. Once he found out that was the case, he called several times asking to stop by. I told him that I would not be home when he was asking to stop. So he continued to call another few times, but at this point, I wasn't interested in having them do the work. It's this simple, when a customer asks for a quote -- give it to them. Had he just given me the quote over the phone the first time or via email the several times I asked, he likely would have been hired. If it was that hard to get a quote, how difficult would it have been actually working with them?

In the past I have had awful luck with contractors, not always the contractor themselves but who shows up at your door on any given day. This time I was looking for someone who had a majority of their own equipment & hopefully a high % of staff on payroll. Patrick Miller Construction was it!! Employee's & hires were phenomenal. Patrick & his crew (Chris was awesome) were professional from start to finish in every aspect, you can tell they are invested into the company. They executed all repairs ahead of schedule & went the extra mile in dealing with the insurance adjuster & quickly facilitated all paperwork required to make sure claims went thru. I was surprised how many times Patrick was on site despite the amount of jobs they had going on at the time. Usually no matter what, you as a homeowner will have some work to do upon storm damage happening. The only thing I had to do was sweep some sheet rock dust out of my garage. Upon Patrick learning this his right hand man Chris, not some temp, came out & power-washed my garage floor. I can attest they know their trade, the industry, take pride in the work being completed correctly & look forward to someday utilizing his services

The work was done quickly and cleanly

The contractor showed up and explained what the would do. After examining the roof and sealing any/all areas, he came down off the roof and showed me before and after photos of any work he performed. He made recommendations regarding our chimney and asked if I wanted a quote on those repairs. I was never pressured to buy any more services. He was pleased with the condition of our roof and did not try to sell me anything I did not need.

A year ago Patrick came out and gave us an estimate on the replacement of our rotting frame and door. We had to put the project off until this year because we decided to remove the decking around the door ourselves. Patrick came out again July 30th of this year and we came up with a different estimate without the deck removal and added the window removal and siding repair. On August 15th Patrick and Phil came right on time and performed a miracle on our door and siding. They tore off the rotting frame and reframed in a more appropriate place, they installed a quality steel door that looked fantastic, they removed the window that should not have been and repaired the framing and house board and sided the house. When they were done they cleaned up perfectly. Both Patrick and Phil were fun to talk to, had great ideas, used quality materials, worked hard all day and answered all our questions. We are extremely happy with their work.

Unfortunately, my finances at the time prevented me from proceeding with this project. However, I do hope to do this project, with Patrick, in the future.

First of all, hands down the best experience I have ever had with any kind of service let alone a contractor. They stereotypes of contractors trying to get you for every dime, taking longer than estimated, etc. definately does not apply to Patrick Miller! As part of a company relocation and home buy-out, it was discovered that my detached garage was not stable and needed repair before they home buy-out could take place. I was literally scheduled to relocate 1100 miles away in one week and needed to secure a contractor to complete this work before I left. I left messages with several contractors but Patrick was the only contractor that actually answered his phone. I called him the Friday before Easter, sent him a structural engineer report and by noon on Monday he had provided me an estimate. I eventually heard back from another contractor but that was several days later despite having told them of my urgent timeline. Patrick's estimate not only came in under the other contractor, but he also didn't suggest replacing the entire roof to do the job like the second contractor. I met with Patrick on Wednesday to review the estimate, he showed me his license, insurance, and multiple Angie's List awards. Not only was he responsive to email/phone calls, etc., he was just a really nice, engergetic person that didn't make you feel like you were wasting his time. He answered all of my questions and explained to me in detail what he was going to do. I paid him half up front and as Iwas leaving town that Friday he was starting the job - a one week turn-around from phone call to start of job! Patrick provided me pictures via email to share the progress and had the work done and signed off by the city inspector within a week. I can't recommend Patrick Miller enough!

Patrick Miller Construction is highly professional and very customer friendly. No problems what so ever. I recommend them to everyone. Patrick Miller Construction values their reputation on Angie's List. I think they did an excellent job. They got the job done in the time frame that they said they would.

Great. He was on time, professional, obviously knowledgeable, He discussed the process in detail asking for our input and feedback. Was respectful of our property and did not leave a mess.

Patrick came out and gave me a bid, which I then took. The fellow who did the work was very conscientious; respectful; and thorough. He had me come out and look at the work he did, which was good. This was tricky , because the damaged window was right next to an undamaged window, and the colors had to match exactly, which they did. We chose the appropriate color together. My only concern is that I had an email on Sunday saying that they would be coming out sometime during the week. Without any other notice, he showed up at 9 AM the next morning. I just happened to be home, so could accommodate the work. I am not sure what he would have done if I had not been there, especially as far as deciding on the appropriate color.

Roof repair went as planned. Leak was located and patched with water barier and new shingles installed. Counter flashing installed on chimney. When counter flashing was installed water came out of the chimney bricks. Then they replaced the cap on the chimney and re-did the top two rows of bricks on chimney. There was water damage to the interrior of the house. I looked at the damage with Patrick and we agreed that he would do the work to repair this damage. Patrick said he would be out early the following week. He also said he did not know the exact cost since most of the water damage would not be visible until they started pulling up the carpet and doing the work. He said he would send me something in writing so that we had a pre-agreed upon rate for correcting what was found as the work progressed. I said OK and he should come out next week to do the work. He never came or called. Several weeks later I called to see what happened and Patrick said he was waiting for me to OK the rates that he sent out. This was a miscommunitation - I thought we agreed he should do the work and he was waiting to hear from me to give a formal approval to the rates he emailed me. Patrick said that communication was one of his weak poiints. So I told him the rates were OK and he should come and do the inside repairs. He said he should be able to come out the next week to do the work. I never heard from him again.

During his bid Patrick keenly listened to our concerns and provided practical suggestions for dealing with the challenges of our roof. He stayed within our budget and the job was done in close to a day. The roofing crew was very nice and efficient, the pm could not have been sweeter. At the completion of project, the crew went around the house several times cleaning up debris. We are very pleased with the result and plan to call Patrick back for further work on the house. Highly recommend!

He didn't get the job, after treating me like that!

Unreliable, unprofessional and disappointing. I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Miller to come out for an estimate on replacing several windows and performing some minor roof repairs. I got the impression, when I spoke to him, that he wasn't very interested in such a small job. I took time off to meet with him, but he never showed up for the scheduled estimate or called with an explanation.

Pat and his company (Patrick Miller Construction) built us a fantastic garage over a period of about a month (we were gone for 12 days during that period and they were rained out a couple of days), but they worked very hard to get it built in a timely manner. Randy, the cement guy and his crew were very good. I especially want to mention Phil and Tom, the carpenters, who were very hard-working and built us an absolutely beautiful (yes, it really is beautiful!), sturdy garage. The electricians were excellent, as were the roofers. We had a few problems with the rain gutters, which Pat dealt with and had fixed. Patrick really went the extra mile for us, bending over backwards to make sure we got what we wanted, that we were kept in the loop, and he did several "extras" for us which were not in the contract: swapping out our light fixture on our house for a new one, painting the side door jamb, swapping out one of our light fixtures which was defective, etc. We had very few unexpected situations, and what we did have Pat dealt with quickly and efficiently. The building inspector had a few minor things he wanted taken care of, and Pat, Tom, and Phil took care of them that very day. I really cannot say enough good things about Pat and his company. From the first time we met him, to researching various options for us, to tweaking the plan and working with the city building inspector, to the final product, this was a very positive experience. I only wish they had been around when we built our house twenty years ago. The garage experience was totally different than the house experience. Thank you Patrick, and all your good workers!!
