I told the provider over the phone that we had a 1 1/2 story. He came on about the 17th and looked at the roof but there was a little snow and he could not inspect it. On April 29th he came back and said our roof was too steep and he could not perform the offer, and that we should get a refund.

Ice dams are a pain- A check of Angie's List for a contractor to take care of the problem proved to be the best of all possible worlds because the was a DISCOUNT COUPON! The Contractor was available earlier than expected, so the mess was resolved in a very timely fashion. Great communication. Good to work with.

Pat's crew headed by Philip came to the house. I was told what procedure they would use: Steamed off the ice. It took 2hrs + 40 min. It was too late to prevent all damage so now 3/25 I am trying to connect w/ Pat to get an estimate for repair of a wall.

Arrived on time. Efficient, thorough and courteous.

They did a very good job on shoveling the entire roof and then cleaning up all of the snow on walks and the driveway. I was very pleased with the work and the price. About 3 years ago I paid another company a bit more for doing the same job.

They charged me for two hours even though it took much longer to complete.

Doug contacted me promptly and provided me with a detailed estimate. I opted to use another service provider, but I felt my interaction with Doug was very professional.

Very well. They came when they said they would and did a great job. One of the workers accidentally chopped up a hose we had out and went out and bought a replacement.

When I spent the last weekend with towels all around my windows and even in my living room because of the snow on the roof deciding to melt and come in the house, I called every snow person in Angie's system. These guys had a coupon for $300 for an hour of snow removal. I paid for it, and this morning I called them to see when I could get service. I was just hoping for some time this week, as they were all so busy that MANY of the people I called had full in-boxes on their phones and I was unable to leave a message. I called just at the right time, they had just had a cancellation, and this morning, when everyone in the twin cities, it seemed, needed snow removal help, I got some. They were here at 11 and I had to leave for an appointment. The owner was here to talk to me and make sure they did what I wanted, and I told them to just take the snow off the roof. I thought the few ice dams I had would melt into my gutters because of the crazy warm weather. I got back at 12:30 and everything was done, the roof was perfectly cleaned off and they even kept snow off my stairs and walkway. They saved me a lot of leaking windows and did a great job. I looked down my block and I was the only house with no snow on the roof. It was awesome.

I called left message for ice dam removal. Never even got a call back.

They showed up on time, did the work quickly and in less time then expected. He was really nice, he quoted me $500 but only ended up being $400. I would use them again if I needed to.

We were told the entire roof needed replacement and would get back to use with a quote...did not hear from them again....had another company look at the roof plus the insurance adjuster and were told by both our roof was fine...

I purchased a one hour deal. I was fully expecting to have to have not only the snow removed, but ice dams steamed away. After the snow was removed around the edges of the roof(s), I was told that there were not iced accumulations to be alarmed about. I was pleasantly surprised that the job was completed within the one hour time frame. I was also impressed that I was told that steaming was not needed. It was refreshing to be dealt with honestly.

We had water dripping into the house when we woke up, so I called 5 highly rated providers on Angies List - Patrick Miller Construction was the ONLY one to even call back. They provided same day service, sowed up on time, worked very efficiently, and were very professional. We will be using them again.

They were early, which is fine with me. Polite, professional. They got right to work. My roof and ice dams will not be a headache for me the rest of the winter unless this weather gets any weirder. I'm very satisfied.

The service went well and he was a good guy. It took a while to get the service on the calendar because they were busy and we were equally as busy so that didn't bother me. He said we would need a new roof in the near future. So far we have not moved forward with getting a new roof because the roof has not had any issues since the patching.

He was on time and knowledgeable. He left with the task of sending me two estimates. One to fix a problem spot on the roof and one to add a roof vent system on the ridge. It took a couple weeks get the estimate when he said I would have it in 5 days. The estimate that came was only for the roof repair and not the ridge vent. This concerned me that he forgot to send both estimates we discussed so I did not use his services further.

Our roof was damaged in the June 2013 storms. Once given approval from our insurance company, I received several bids for the repairs. Patrick Miller was priced competitively compared to other companies. I worked with Douglas and received prompt, friendly, and high quality service. He was extremely flexible to meet my scheduling needs. I would highly recommend Patrick Miller Construction and working with Douglas!!! We could not be happier with the experience.

Douglas Cossette was extremely professional throughout the project, from the initial estimate, to working with and assisting the insurance adjustor, to coordinating with the tenants, to seeing that all work was completed quickly and efficiently. He presented the estimate to us very clearly, and reported progress often and regularly. Douglas was very personable and professional in all dealings with us.

It all went smoothly. The contractor was more high end then we needed.

My husband had damaged a few shingles raking snow from our roof previous winter. The deal was to include pictures and recommendations. Responsiveness was poor due to their busy work load. The deal was apparently for an inspection of a one story house with a certain pitch. Our house is two story with a steeper pitch. Patrick did look at roof with my husband. He did send a crew out to replace damaged shingles but there was no inspection with pictures and followup. The job took less than 30 minutes with no materials supplied by their firm; $124 seems pricey for work done.

Patrick was awesome. We were about to put our house on the market when a storm caused major damage. Patrick was extremely responsive and was very helpful working with insurance. We interviewed a lot of general contractors for this job. Patrick was by FAR the most profession, the most reasonable and the most responsive. We were so fortunate to find him. We would hire him again in a heartbeat. Don't look any further if you have found these guys.

The provider was very prompt to respond and schedule the service. He was also very polite when he told me my roof pitch was too steep for the planned maintenance. I appreciated it and will consider them for future work.
