+ -1 moreWe had a very typical, flat South Minneapolis front yard that we wanted to turn into an authentic Japanese garden. Simon came out to perform all of the excavation and land forming (building berms). He helped us select stone and boulders and handled prep and installation. Simon also dug a drainage system so that our out-spouts are underground. He gave us guidance toward placing the major trees and shrubs. Simon is great fun to work with. Not only is he knowledgeable, hard working, reliable and honest, but also has a wonderful sense of humor. He is clearly very passionate about the work and is very personally involved in his projects. Not only would I hire him again, I have already recommended him to numerous family and friends.
Description of Work: Simon helped us develop a plan for our Japanese garden and performed all excavation, land forming and stone/boulder installation. Several years prior he also excavated our backyard and prepared patio and walkways for us to install stone. Over the years he has been a great resource for information and recommendations toward landscaping materials and products.

Description of Work: Simon put in two retaining walls (one brick and one boulder), stairs, flagstone path, two patios and an outdoor kitchen in my back yard.
