Description of Work: Terrible experience. The person behind the desk only aknowledge me after 5 minutes, told me without even stopping his work in progress that the tips of the heels cosy $13 and it will take at least 10 days to get them done. Good for them they still have business because with that attitude I packed my shoes and walked out.

 + 0 moreMan at the counter was very helpful at drop off and pickup. They did good work and made my favorite pair of boots look brand new. Work was done well and he showed the fixes to me when I picked it up. It took me a while to get over to pick it up and it was not a problem.
Description of Work: Had my favorite books and a leather purse fixed here.

 + -1 moreI had difficulty getting to the store before it closed. The first time I tried to drop off my shoes I arrived fewer than 5 minutes late. The "open" sign had already been turned off, but the lights were still on and I could see the owner in the back room. I knocked several times to see if I could just drop off my shoes, but the owner never acknowledged me. Even if he wasn't willing to let me in after hours, I would have appreciated it if he would have acknowledged my knocking and asked me to come back when the store was open. My other two interactions with the owner were markedly socially awkward. The quality of his work was fine, but it was not at all easy to interact with him.
Description of Work: Replaced heel pads on one pair of women's boots and replaced buttons on a pair of women's Mary Jane's.

 + -1 moreHe was great and reasonably priced. Did the work while I stood there. I was surprised and pleased.
Description of Work: I had a purse I wanted to add a shoulder strap to. HE did the work while I waited, it took him five minutes and looked great. He also fixed a shoe that needed some stitching to repair the trim.
