Good estimate process. Workers were on time, professional, and courteous. They were there when they said they would be. They communicated very well about what was happening and any issues encountered. They took pains to do the job right, without shortcuts. They were very neat during work and did the best post-job cleanup of any tradesmen we have ever hired.

Ron (the sales and field manager) called our home to tell us he was running late. He inspected the room and made his estimate of $1870.00 His estimate was very detailed, including the paint brand, tape of the walls, sand the walls with a vacuum sander, spot primer... This company received very high scores on Angie's list, however, the price estimate, in our opinion, was extremely over priced

Started on scheduled date with complete understanding of what we wanted done. They were always on time and very professional at all times. Promptness and good communication with the contractor was very important. The job was completed in a timely manor. They treated our home like it was theirs. Cleaned up everyday and took pride in their work.

I am an avid DIY-er and would normally have attempted this project myself, but since I'm in the midst of painting the exterior of the house I decided to get some bids. The entire process was fantastic. Ron was on time for the estimate and very informative. After a couple of field tests of the ceiling texture to see why it was failing, he proposed removing the entire ceiling, filling any cracks, and repainting. The price we paid reflects an Angie's List discount + another 10% off for committing to the work on the spot. I have always made a practice of getting multiple bids for projects that I can't handle myself, but based on our short timeline, the fair price, and the company's stellar reputation I decided to commit on the spot. The estimate was performed on a Tuesday and work began the following Monday. Ron met Juan, the foreman, at our house to explain the work needed and to make sure that Juan was briefed on all of our needs and requests (my wife has severe dust allergies, so containment was a big concern). After Juan had removed the ceiling texture it was clear that more patching was going to be required than what was specified in the original bid, so the job took an extra day to finish. I am not unhappy at all about this and attribute it to their attitude to do the job right rather than rushing to meet an estimated timeline. Juan also gave me some good tips for painting the exterior of my house, which I really appreciate. Painting by Jerry Wind is a great company and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The estimator was very thorough and extremely detailed in his work. He took much longer to prepare the estimate than all other estimates I received (not saying this is good or bad). When the estimate was ready he took me through a lot of sales pitch about the quality of work and showed me examples of work they had performed. While I appreciated some of the information it was a bit overkill and I could tell the price was going to come in very high. When he finally showed me the estimate it came in around $5,200. I was shocked because the other estimates I received were between $1,500-3,000. Some of the suggestions to replace multiple pieces of siding due to areas that eventually were just cleaned up and caulked seemed excessive. My house is not large by any means so I was very surprised at the price. While I understand the importance of the quality of workmanship and products, the price did not justify paying that much when other professional quotes were coming in for less than half. I ended up having the work done with the same high quality Sherwin Williams paint for significantly less and I am happy with the results. I'm not judging this company's work negatively because I have no basis to do that. The estimate was professional and detailed but in my opinion way overpriced for what I was willing to pay for the work.

It went very well. They worked my job in quickly. It ran a little over the estimate and a little longer than originally planned due to some extra work necessary to repair my walls for painting. They had warned me of this when they did the estimate as they could not see what was behind the wallpaper. It looked great when they were done.

They were very professional. They cleaned up every night and the work was high quality.

Ron was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and quick to come out to my house and give me a quote. Although the job was relatively small, Ron took his time and did it right. The entire process of stripping, sanding and re-finishing took almost two weeks, but it was well worth it. The door looks amazing! Ron suggested we go with a marine grade spar varnish on the front door to get maximum protection from the UV rays. Although the finish is glossy, it looks great and Ron walked me through the pros and cons of the different types of finishes available. I would highly recommend Painting by Jerry Wind to anyone for their painting or wood finishing needs.

Everything was neatly done and on time. Clean up daily and final cleanup was excellent. Workers were top notch.Jerry gave sound advice on color and his crew did extensive patching as well as painting on our 1916 house.

Jerry is very professional. Good communication. I can tell that he cares very much about getting the work done right. The cost seemed a bit high, but his painters are full time employees not contractors, the work was done well and so it seemed worth it to me. I would highly recommend and hire again.

This company was professional, thorough in their work and took great pains to ensure the paint job was the best coverage they could provide. The employee who did the actual painting was friendly and very meticulous in his work. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if the need arises.

I cannot say too many good things about Painting by Jerry Wind, especially Ron Wolfe who supervised and Nate Hapaala who did the painting. The end result is superb. But, even more important, along the way they found a number of places where there were water intrusions in the foundation. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in identifying the source of the intrusions and suggesting where to get help. They went way beyond what the job called for. Taking care of the water intrusions interrupted the painting work, but they were very flexible and patient. They are true professionals who really care about their customers and are dedicated to quality. We are so grateful to both of them and so glad we chose Painting by Jerry Wind.

They did an excellent job. They helped us with the selection of colors and paint and were very helpful in accommodating our needs while they were working and in meeting our schedule requirements. They went beyond what was necessary to make the job look good.

Ron Wolf arrived on time, and spent about 1 1/2 hours talking with my wife about the project specifics and looking at the work we needed done. He really made her feel comfortable both in his knowledge and the scope of the project. The quote he provided was very detailed, and included areas where the work could be adjusted to save us money. Ultimately, we dediced to do the work ourselves since funds are tight and we have a lot of projects. But I would definitely contact Jerry Wind again for future projects.

I appreciate their creative approach to my projects. Two men were here for 5 days to complete my project. This couldn?t have been a better experience. This is the third time I?ve used Painting by Jerry Wind with great success. I receive consistent, exceptional service from them. Their work is just unbelievable! The workmen are so pleasant and are clearly true craftsmen. I feel they?ll do just about anything to satisfy their customer; completely bending over backwards to please you.

Our interaction with them was fine. They did an excellent job of what we asked them to paint. We would do it again at any time.

It couldn't have gone any better! The two rooms look like new and this is an 86 year old house. The crew was very professional, punctual and easy to work with. Their attention to detail allowed me to relax and trust the work would be done to my satisfaction. They took time to explain the process they were using and kept me posted on the progress. I called Jerry Wind and he told me to if I had any problems. I asked if he could come out so no one else ruined the windows. He sent one of the individuals out and opened them all for me. It was a difficult job. He also made a recommendation for a silicone spray to avoid this happening in the future. You just can't top them.

Jerry arrived within a day or two of my initial call. He was very thorough in reviewing the job and gave many technical tips. He took a few minutes to calculate the estimate and then quoted a price. Because of his patience and detailed analysis of the job, along with the positive reviews submitted by others on this website, I felt confident that his team would do a good job and in the time frame promised.

We didn't go with them but they were really nice. They cost more than the other service provider we got an estimate from. They were very knowledgeable about lead paint and professional. We trusted him with the lead because we have little kids. We would have probably been more comfortable with them but their price was higher than the company we went with. They even gave us a little booklet on lead paint information. They really knew what they were doing.

I used this company before for a very small job (they repaired damage to a cieling and matched perfectly the popcorn texture), This was a much larger job. His estimate was the middle of 3 I received. He performed a walkthrough with his supervisor prior to starting to make sure expectations were clearly outlined. The crew spent a significant amount of time preping the walls, something previous painters had not done. They spackled or sanded every bump, hole or blemish to the point that the walls look like new. The crew was professional and courteous. I don't usually allow workers in my home when I'm not there but I felt very comfortable with them being in my home unsupervised. When I called Jerry to express some concerns he was out to meet me the following morning and satisfactorily addressed every point. For my money, you won't find a better craftsman.

I love this crew! They are meticulous and actually left the house cleaner than how they found it. The work is so wonderful I would give them better than an A if I could. My house looks better than new. They give me updates and explain the work that is required to do a quality job. My husband keeps looking for a paint smear on woodwork but there just is none. I will hire this crew again and soon!

They did a great job. They were very careful, fixed all they problems the ran into. They were on time and worked very hard.
