Description of Work: I received a bid from Painting by Jerry Wind, but I chose another painting contractor. Considering my income, length of time I will live in this house, it made financial sense to find a bid that was lower.

Description of Work: House is approximately 100 years old -- Removed old "popcorn" ceiling in dining/living rooms - dining room was sheet rock/living room was original plaster - living room required a significant amount of repair - painted both ceilings with flat paint -- IT LOOKS AWESOME !!! Ron, Marlon, Abraham and Pablo -- you ROCK! Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: We have not met yet to do an estimate, but I appreciated how quickly Ron got back to me about scheduling the appointment for the estimate. He was also flexible in working with my schedule to set a time to meet. (I would wait to post this until after actually meeting, and perhaps using their services, but Angie's List really wants me to review them before June 30th.) So far, so good.

Description of Work: I have a five window bow in my living room. They had to remediate and paint the interior.

Description of Work: They were very prompt, clean , neat, and were professional in their interaction. They were hired to paint a closet and repair a bathroom wall and paint the walls of the bathroom. The painting was done well, but I discovered later that some paint had dripped on my tub and toilet. The painting of the closet was fine. They had to put my shelves back up and in a short time one of the shelves fell, because it had not been secured properly. In fairness, I didn't call them to inform them of the problems. Fortunately, my son was able to repair what was needed. | |I , also, felt the cost was quite high, but I needed something done quickly and i didn't shop around for bids. Not comparing bids was my error. I have since found a painter who was quick and neat and less expensive. | |The painting was done to expectations, but given the cost I didn't expect there to be the issues I had subsequently.

Description of Work: The exterior of my home was in need of much work. It had been neglected by the previous owners. I had it painted a few years ago but that person did a terrible job, as it turned out. Within less than a year, it showed signs of a job poorly done. A year ago I spoke with Jerry and received estimates from him and three other companies. Jerry's was the most precise estimate. After consulting with family members who understood the business, Jerry was the company I chose. However, because of time, neglect, and poor paint jobs in the past, the cost would be significant. I had to wait for another year. The crew was hardworking. The crew supervisor, Pat, was pleasant, respectful, keeping me informed. Jerry was out two or three times during the whole process to check for himself. They were good to my dogs. Respectful of my property. They let me know what was going on at all times. They did some extra work for me at my request. I could not be happier with the results. My little 60 plus year old home looks lovely.
