It's been almost a year and we're still loving our remodeled kitchen and bath. The project was completed as planned and on schedule. From start to finish, On Time was professional, reliable, flexible, and of course, on time. They made some great recommendations about the kitchen layout and overall, provided good advice and direction. But they also listened to our concerns or issues along the way and adjusted accordingly. Working with Pavel and Maria was a pleasure. We appreciate that they are professional, direct, punctual, responsive and flexible.

The staff was courteous, professional and always responded promptly. They delivered a very competitive quote. I received several follow-up emails to check-in and see how they could help us. I regret not going with them and plan to use them the next time I have any contracting needs.

Project done on time and on budget at great value. Maria clearly explained all steps in process and Pavel made recommendations to make basement layout more livable and to help improve eventual resale value. The workers were on time and they finished up the project within 5 weeks. Would definitely work with them again.

I felt there was a little sales pitch but they did not hound me. They provided the drawing while they were here. They followed up with me after the appointment letting me know if I wanted the drawings, I had to work with them.

On Time Contractors did a good job with our basement. They were courteous and responsive. They addressed all concerns that we had with the project to the best of their ability. We would definitely use them again in the future.

I called asking for an estimate to finish a room in my basement. Call was routed to a long distance call center and not locally answered. Reception was terrible. Long wait times to speak to rep. No ability to set up an appointment with rep directly; you leave a message with a 3rd party business who forwards it on. That was slightly sub-par in my mind, but no deal breaker. At end of call, I was told they don't do projects for under $ 15K. That should clearly be stated on their website and on their Angie's List posting.

The service went fine. 1-2 technicians were out for the service. I thought they provided a fine design. We just decided to not take on the project at the time. I do not remember having any difficulties scheduling the deal.

We used Angies List to invite a handful of top rated contractors to bid on finishing our basement in a house built in 2004. Plumbing was already roughed in and the design for the basement layout was already more or less set in stone by the original builder. Each of the bidding contractors performed a walk through and listened to our project requirements as well as presented us with options. We selected On Time Contractors based on a few factors: available start date, professionalism, responsiveness, and bid amount. Pavel and Maria were both outstanding. In the grand scheme of things and barring just a few minor issues mostly having to do with communication (I tend to over communicate on large project spends and expect the same in return), their employees were professional, respectful, courteous, and very hard workers as well. The project started on time and completed just 1 week beyond estimated completion. In fairness, this was due to a few unexpected challenges with a walk out slider that needed to be replaced and ceiling work in two areas that cracked which they had to repair. This involved completely removing and reapplying the knockdown texture on a large majority of the ceiling which was performed quickly and without resistance. After final walk through, I noted several areas on walls that needed to be repainted or small dings that needed to be repaired. All remediation items were also handled quickly and without resistance. A few months after project completion, cold weather came and we noticed a few areas where soffits were pulling away from the main wall which causes cracks in the corner seams. I contacted Maria to address the largest one and she came out and looked at it. They repaired the damage and I repainted the small area. There were a few other areas I didn't mention because they were much smaller and I was less concerned and I can probably repair them myself. If they get worse I will call on On Time Contractors to honor their warranty as they have already done once. Payments were made in installments, all scheduled with dates up front so there were really no surprises in that area. There was no financing by On Time Contractors for this project. Overall we are extremely pleased with the results and we are enjoying our new living area on a regular basis. We would definitely use On Time Contractors again and would recommend them to anyone. General advice for anyone wanting to start a larger home improvement project, begin the bidding process early. That portion took much longer than we expected - several weeks. Not because of On Time Contractors, but because of scheduling conflicts with the other bidding contractors. For instance, we wanted to have our basement finished before school started but we started the bidding process in June and actual work didn't start until the middle of July and our project did not complete until late September. In hind sight, we should have started the bidding process in April or May at the latest.

Punctuality is A+. They are really good. Their professionalism is great.

The service was brilliant. They were great. They started the project in September and ended in October. We liked the service so much that we will be using them again after the holidays.

If I placed a call to Maria, she was quick to try to resolve any issue.

Had On Time Contractors finished my half-finished basement. They did a great job! The project was very on time, well organized, and excellently communicated. They stick to the contract faithfully. Every step was very professionally managed by a knowledgeable project manager. They are very pleasant and trustworthy group of people to work with. The response and follow-up in post project was equally commendable. I am also very happy that I had chance to pick some of material and amenities at my own choice and they had gone extra miles to accommodate my needs and save my costs. What I also appreciate was they paid extra attention to details that showed in the end result. My basement felt solid and looked stunningly sharp. The project ran a bit over budgeted because I didn?t include some of details in the contract. The bottom line is I definitely got what I paid for. The final price was still very competitive and the quality work I received was certainly affordable. I highly recommend On Time Contractors to people. All you need to do is to know what you want and enter a contract as detailed and specific as possible, then lay back. They will make things happen!

They did a fabulous job with stunning results. Their crew was courteous, highly skilled, and completely trustworthy. They masterfully installed gorgeous tile floors, granite counters (custom built around a raised coffee cupboard), new windows, new cupboards, new appliances, and a full pantry. We receive many compliments on the results, but better - it works just the way we wanted it to. On Time guarantees their work so even now, if something isn't right after being used (a shelf comes off a hinge, etc.), a quick call and they are right over to make it right. Terrific company, terrific people.

They came out to look at the basement and got back to me with the design. Everything worked out fine.

On Time was prompt and very helpful in providing advice and quote to complete our basement. We ended up deciding to move but would certainly consider them for future work.

We had a great experience with them. They were always responsive and transparent about the process, progress, and challenges. They adapted as needed during the process, both to discoveries along the way and to changes we chose to make. We always knew where things stood. We had one hiccup around the estimate, which was unfortunate, but on balance quite manageable -- they, again, were completely transparent about what happened and it was all resolved quickly. Their workers were courteous and attentive. Working through our project manager, they consistently met our needs, and in quite a few cases did detail work that wasn't "in scope," but has made our basement all the more wonderful. We were given many options for various finishes (tile, carpet, paint, woodwork), and they even worked seamlessly with an outside installer for one portion of the work. From the get-go we had a slightly tight timeline, with a big family Thanksgiving looming. They ensured that the schedule met that requirement, and we happily hosted out-of-town guests in our new guest room as hoped for. We would certainly use them again.

We wanted to finish the basement of our new house as soon as we moved in. We got three bids and On Time was one of the lowest. Best of all, they could start right away because they have multiple crews. (Another contractor said they could start in 6 months!) We enjoyed the process of designing our basement with their help, and visiting their showroom in downtown Hopkins made it easy to pick our carpet, doors, and finishing wood. They are true to their name, showing up right on time on the first day of the job. They had an army of workers and sub-contractors, and they finished the job in under two months. Everyone did a great job. The framers and finishers were especially good, recommending some very nice finishing touches.

Not well. He was mainly interested in getting the job to finish the basement when we had made it clear we wanted to do the work ourselves.

Excellent service, right on budget and schedule. Beautiful quality work. Highly recommend. We were in good hands.

There cost was higher than the other estimates; however, this was related to the size of the job, which was smaller than they normally accept.

When I first made the appointment they told me I had to bring $1500 to get started, after I picked out the materials they told me they needed $9000. They weren't upfront about the initial cost.

It went fine, it was obvious that the gentleman that came and met with us was seasoned. He had a very good idea of what it would cost to do a good job in our home. He followed up the meeting with a very detailed list of most of what we had discussed and the costs associated with the job. We had follow up questions and he responded to them in a timely manner. In the end we felt that they would do a good job and we were looking for a great job.

The receptionist/secretary was unprofessional and discourteous in her dealings with me on the telephone. We own three properties, so I deal with contractors fairly frequently. This receptionist was the worst I have encountered in decades of real estate ownership. If my secretary spoke to any caller in this same way, she would be fired.

I'm sure On Time does fine work but we were never able to get to that point due to a lot of communication and a lot of turnover in their staff. Maria was very pleasant and responsive and, from the pictures on Angie's List, look like they know what they're doing. Wish we could've gotten to that step but our project needs to be done as soon as possible so we're going with another contractor.

In a nutshell: we are so happy that we chose On Time Contractors for this project! From beginning to end, Pavel and the rest of the crew at On Time were exceptional, and we couldn't be happier with the process or the finished result! We are telling everyone we know to call On Time Contractors for any remodeling/construction projects they are considering! Now, for those that like the details, read on... I called On Time in mid-September to schedule an appointment for them to take a look at our basement project. Two days later, Pavel and Maria came out to walk the basement with us and discuss our plans. During the visit, Pavel emphasized how important customer satisfaction was to him and to On Time, and he showed us a binder full of testimonials to prove it (although we had already seen plenty of evidence supporting this on Angie's List!). We expected to get an estimate within a few days, but were surprised when Pavel emailed a detailed estimate of the entire project within a few hours of our meeting. The estimate provided all costs and recommended finish elements (or allowances for items that needed to be selected), and included a separate section with costs for optional items that were also discussed (we were on the fence as to whether to include a built-in bar in the project). In addition to On Time, we interviewed two other companies, and ended up asking one of them for a formal bid (the other was eliminated based on the interview). That bid took almost a month to come in (a missed meeting and a few missed "I'll e-mail you the proposal tomorrow" deadlines), and when it did, it was a vague approximation of the project with no real details to back up the estimate. It was also a bit higher than On Time's bid and with less of the options, but that wasn't ultimately why we decided to go with On Time. It was the level of detail and the promptness and professionalism that On Time demonstrated that made us more confident in their ability to successfully complete the project. Because of the length of time it took for the second bid to come in, it was now mid-October when I called Pavel back to tell him we wanted On Time to do the project. It may be that we were very lucky, or it may be that On Time is that good, but Pavel said they could begin the project the following week, and that it would take around seven weeks to complete. As promised, the framing crew, a dumpster and a load of lumber showed up the following Wednesday, and the project was underway. Fast-forward to today, and I am writing this review from the desk in my new basement office. Everything is done, inspections are passed, the dumpster is gone, and we're now awaiting the delivery of a sectional to sit on and a plasma TV to watch while enjoying the bar and the fireplace, all with convenient access to a full bathroom! Though Pavel's company did not install the gas fireplace insert (he had us work directly with a separate company to install that) or do the electrical (he bid for it, but was willing to remove it from his bid and let us work directly with a good friend who is a licensed electrical contractor to complete the electrical), he was responsible for everything else, including the new bathroom, the tile, cabinets and granite in the new bar, the tile and mantel around the fireplace, the installation of a new energy efficient furnace, and all other finishing work. The quality of the work is top-notch, and the final results speak for themselves. As we sent pictures to our family and friends along the way, or as they saw On Time coming and going from our home, no one could believe how quickly the project was progressing, and how on top of everything On Time was. So different than many of their experiences with other contractors on their projects that went long or over budget or both. Of course, I would be lying if I said there were no bumps along the way. There were a few. But none of them were significant enough to knock the project off schedule, and none of them led to any unforeseen or additional costs for us. Whatever the issues, On Time just took care of them. When I received the original estimate, I worried there was no way Pavel could know so precisely what the project was going to cost, and I expected there to be some changes or additional charges along the way. I was wrong. There were a few changes, but only those that we requested and that were detailed and priced in change orders. Other than that, the original estimate came in to the penny. Truly remarkable. Above all, I want to say that Pavel was a joy to work with throughout the project. He did a phenomenal job of discussing options with us, recommending and designing the room layouts, and recommending finish options. He was always thinking not just about what we wanted, but also about how to accomplish it in the most cost-effective way. And he even threw in a few extras at no additional cost to us, because he wanted to be sure that we were delighted with the finished product. We are! After less than seven weeks start-to-finish on this project, my only suggestion to On Time Contractors? Perhaps you should consider changing your name to Ahead Of Time Contractors!
