Description of Work: We hired On Time Contractors to finish our basement. I was very pleased with their work. I was most impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Their work crew was very respectful and left the basement amazingly clean after work each day. Every time I contacted them with a question or concern, Maria responded to me within one day (and usually within hours). We've received many compliments on our basement. I would recommend On Time Contractors without hesitation. We had a great experience with them.

Description of Work: We had our basement finished by On Time Contractors. We looked at several different companies to finish our basement (It was rough framed after we remodeled the whole thing) and included the following: One bedroom (egress window was put in during the remodel of the house so no exterior work was needed), a closet for the bedroom, under the stairs storage, a bathroom with a tile shower, and a family room / office space. Pavel came out to our home and walked through the basement to get a rough idea of the effort and to do some preliminary measurements in order to provide a quote. After about 45 minutes of talking through the project and Pavel measuring the various rooms and discussing the overall project, he provided me with a quote. There were some items on the quote that I decided we would provide so he removed those and we settled on a price. The other nice thing is they could start in one week and could finish the job in 8 weeks. After meeting with a few other contractors (all of which were $20k or more and couldn't start the work for a month or two) we decided to go with On Time Contractors. They started on the Thursday before Labor day and they got to work immediately. They did some demolition of the current framing which was not up to their standards (which I greatly appreciated!) and had the general framing and preliminary plumbing done with the first week. The project moved along at a good pace. There were a few days where they couldn't do work due to scheduling conflicts or waiting for inspections, pretty typical stuff when it comes to these kinds of projects. I detailed a lot of the project on a blog at www.mnhomeremodel.com. Overall they did a great job. The only slight challenge I had with On Time Contractors was with a couple of their sub-contractors. We indicated that we didn't want workers in the house before 8:30 am or after 5:30 pm. A few days we had people show up at 8 am (without any warning) or some that would work past 5:30 pm without asking. Each time this happened I did communicate to the project manager about this and generally it was resolved and an apology issued. We did have an incident where the painting crew they used were arguing loudly in our basement with each other. The project manager addressed this with the painters and they apologized for their lack of professionalism. Overall, the crews that worked on the project were great. The framers did an incredible job making our walls level and the tile guys did an awesome job putting in a shower and floor that looks great. Don't let my comments about a few issues with the subcontractors prevent you from calling On Time. They have great people that do a great job and work very hard. If they needed an extra hour to work late, they would politely ask if it was possible. The most important thing is they finished the job in 7 weeks (1 week earlier than expected) and they also finished it on budget. Pavel and his team know remodeling and will provide you with a finished product that you can be proud to show your family and friends.

Description of Work: I called On Time Contractors Inc. to have an appointment but two or three hours before the appointment the guy said he can't make it so he will schedule another day but he didn't call back. It was pretty useless.

Description of Work: On Time Contractors did a complete bathroom remodel gutting our existing lower level bathroom down to studs to remove sheetrock that was full of mildew. They extended the wall out 9" into the adjacent laundry room to make the very small bathroom larger. They replaced and repositioned all plumbing pipes and electricity, and installed new ceramic tile shower, new vanity, linen closet, exhaust fan and toilet. They installed ceramic tile up to the ceiling and travertine on the floor and also on the top of the vanity . The walls have a travertine decorative line all the way around the mirror above the vanity then extending completely around all of the walls, including in the shower. Clear communication seemed to be an issue. Sometimes the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. I guess that was the biggest problem for me. A few things were ordered incorrectly--we planned to keep our toilet and it got pulled out and put in the dumpster instead. My payments, as per contract, were made in a timely manner---even the last one which came with a promise that they would come back to do some small,last minute, adjustments. Never came back. Ticked me off!!~! We asked for an additional bid on a remodel to our family room, and they never got back to us about that. Think they were just too busy.I was not impressed with their "showroom" so purchased many of the bathroom elements myself both on line and at local wholesalers. "OnTime Contractors" were very fair and cooperative with that, as long as I was responsible to pick up the items and have them available when installation was upcoming. That worked out well.

Description of Work: They drew up some nice plans for refinishing our basement, and were able to steer us toward some good financing options as well. We decided not to do the work yet, but when we're ready we'll definitely be back in touch with them.

Description of Work: Your ad specifies that you do many different types of projects, but did not specify that you will only take the job if and only if the customers is willing to spend more than $15,000 dollars on any given project. SAVE YOUR CUSTOMERS ( PROSPECTIVE) TIME AND BE SPECIFIC ABOUT YOUR POLICY!

Description of Work: Sump pipe cracked and we didn't know about it until a heavy rain. I needed it repaired immediately. The plumber was here in 20 min. from the call. It was fixed quickly and water damage was avoided. AMAZING!
