NORTHEAST TREE INC

This is the second time I have used NE Tree Inc. I was very pleased with their service again. I highly recommend them and would definitelt use them again.

We went with another tree service to remove large tree only due to price. Lynn's thoroughness and professionalism will keep NE Tree high on our list for future tree needs.

Received quote 3-4 days later. Went with another provider.

The consultation was worthwhile; George gave me a survey of what trees are on my property and what care he recommended for any that needed attention. His approach to treating and trimming the trees was logical, and he gave me a good basic lesson in what to watch out for with my trees. The team that came out to trim the trees was on time and worked quickly. They came out to work in subzero cold; I was impressed with how much work they got done in the cold so quickly. Well done and cleaned up well after they were finished. There was one hiccup in invoicing because they the bill got sent to me at the wrong email address, but they figured it out a few weeks later and it all got sorted out without any issues.

Came on time, performed the work and left the area clean and leveled. The crew of three guys and one gal looked like a ballet- worked very well together and helped each other out. They had all the equipment needed- some large pieces of equipment I had no idea existed. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. George and Lynn Welles, the owners, set everything up. Xcel for power line drop and had gas lines to house marked. It really was a smooth operation from start to finish.

The price actually came in below the quote as they could not grind as far as expected due to nearby utility lines.

NE Tree was prompt with their service and left a clean, functional area wehre the tree was removed.

George responded promptly to my online inquiry and came out to provide an estimate. The tree-trimming was something I had considered for quite awhile but only decided to throw it on my estimate request once I had to have one for the stump in the yard after a tree came down. The trimming, of course, was the most expensive part of the estimate, but I appreciated that the estimate described taking the canopy above the yard, alley, and house to appropriate heights for each. I elected to use them for both and am very happy with the results. The tree looks better, our deck is more enjoyable, and my daughter can play volleyball in the back yard without the tree constantly interfering. Relatively minor, but a bit of a bother for me, was that they did not return the deck furniture they had to move during the work back to the deck.

Everything went well from receiving the estimate through the actual tree removal. Even the billing process was handled well. I will definitely call on them again.

Great experience all around. The team did an excellent job at pruning, and tree removal. They were on time and removed all of the debris and minimized damage to my front and back yards. I am really pleased with my experience with George and Lynn and would hire them again.

This was a great experience all around. I asked for specific work to be done and when George arrived to evaluate the work and write the proposal he spotted additional work that I didn't realize needed to be done and made recommendations for work to do later. On the day of service the team did a great job. They arrived when expected; worked efficiently and were very professional. George answered all of my questions and educated me about tree health and my lilac bushes. When they were done with the trees they made sure the yard was just as clean as it was when they arrived. What a great team!

We had to remove three ash trees (sad) that had emerald ash borer and also wanted the stumps ground. We requested bids from three companies and Northeast Tree was the lowest. I also bought an $850 for $1000 Big Deal for Northeast Tree on Angie's list for which saved us another $150. Northeast Tree was very quick in giving us a bid. They also did a good job of keeping us informed about when they would be out. Finally, the yard was all cleaned up when they left.

They didn’t use a crane to take our tree down. He had a series of ropes and pulleys and a guy with a chainsaw and they just took it down. He said he’d start at 9:00 and end by 2:00 and he was done when he said was going to be done and he did exactly what we wanted and we were very pleased with the work.

Everything went well. They responded to my call the same day and George Welles came to examine the tree the next day. He said it was in good condition and gave me some information about caring for it. He also estimated trimming the tree but I have not had it done yet. I received a written estimate within a day or two. I talked to Lynn Welles about scheduling the treatment after I returned from vacation. The treatment was done 2 days after I returned. The tree has to be treated every two years. Mr. Welles said that they would remind me.

Northeast Tree knows trees. George came out within a day or two of my call to inspect the tree and confirm it needs to be removed. Our tree was split in half and close to falling on it's own. We received the proposal the next day and once confirmed he came out and strapped the tree together to keep it up until they could remove it. It took about 2.5 weeks before removal. They arrived promptly and removed the tree without damaging any of the neighbors well kept landscaping or our yard. They were quick and efficient. I would use them again as they were priced reasonably and have certified arborists.

They did a good job and they were professional and told me what they were going to do. I had a few questions that were not pertaining to what they were doing and they answered them happily.

They were prompt in responding to my inquiry. Gave a reasonable quote, so we had them to the work. There was a one day delay due to equipment issues, but that was no issue with us. They were professional and courteous. The work was very satisfactory and they cleaned up after it was done. I would use them again.

It was great! They came out while we were at work, assessed the area, made recommendations on the cost and that we have them remove the smaller tree as well and then came back awhile later and took the tree down - again while we were at work. Quick and painless for us and the customer service over the phone was great!

Communication with Northeast Tree was great! An estimate was performed promptly and all licenses/certifications were supplied with the estimate. Prices seemed competitive. Questions were answered and time was taken to explain what would be done and why. I believe Northeast Tree puts a great deal of importance in the welfare of the trees they work on. A walk through was done prior to the work and all my concerns with problem branches were addressed. The trees look great and cleanup was thorough! Clearance between structures is excellent! The stump from the tree removal was ground below the soil line and you can't even tell there was a tree there! Care tips for the trees were given. Would definitely use Northeast Tree again! A very happy customer! Northeast Tree seems to do business the way it should be done, very impressed!

Prompt reply to my request. Had an emailed quote within a day or two. I had one follow-up question and again a reply within a day. I decided to go with a different provider based on a neighbor's experience but Northeast tree was very responsive & professional

Company came out on time. Had problems with faulty equipment. Didn't initially trim tree as proposed, promised to come back and finish. I didn't think final invoice reflected appropriate amount based on inclusive work all done at same time. Crown cleaning consisted of breaking off 75% of branches by hand and cutting remainder, took approximately 20-25 minutes for this portion that I felt should have been considerably less cost for what they did. update- tree service returned and went up and above to trim more dead wood.offered additional discount.

George come out to assess two ash trees in our front yard that appeared to be dying. He quickly diagnosed the problem as girdling due to improper planting. We had them remove the two trees and replace with a single maple due to the yard size and the end result was fabulous. Lynn was just delightful to work with on all the job specifics. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. Removal and grinding of both trees was very efficient and the clean up superb. The took great care in planting the new tree and also trimmed two existing mature trees while onsite. Again, a fabulous result. We are very satisfied and will not hesitate to call on Northeast Tree in the future.

We have some lovely large trees in our back and side yard, but overgrown branches were scratching our roof and tugging at utility lines, especially during storms -- the power line anchor had recently been pulled clear out of our exterior wall. NE Tree was terrific to work with. Owner Lynn came out to the house at a time we could be there and walk her through what we wanted to do (other bidders just came whenever and left their quotes in the screen door). I forgot to mention one other concern while she was there, so she stopped by again later on to quote that part too. Their estimated cost was comparable to other reputable bidders. It was more than we had anticipated, but they itemized the various components so we could step back the scope to fit our budget, and even offered advice on how we could take care of some of the smaller stuff ourselves to save money. (And they offer an Angie's List discount which was a bonus.) Communication: they were super responsive, totally on the ball in answering questions, coordinating with Xcel, etcetera. Our block doesn't have an alley, so the crew couldn't get their truck close enough to our backyard to use their lift, so they had to work around that challenge, and they did a fine job. They got here when they said they would, the crew lead walked me through everything to confirm before they started, then she walked me through it again after they finished. They made quick work of it, cleared all the trimmings and left the place cleaner than when they had arrived. Super happy to find such a great resource right here in our neighborhood -- I won't hesitate to call them again for a future project.

I've used Northeast Tree a number of times and have always been very happy with them. I have a large tree in my yard that had a number of small dead branches that needed to be cut. They also trimmed so that there was more clearance over my neighbor's roof. They were professional and quick and cleaned everything up after.

Northeast Tree is great - they were prompt to get there and did a great job of removing the tree and stump. They also cleaned up whatever was left over. They were very fair in their estimate, professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
