About us

Northeast Tree Inc. was founded in 1994 by George and Lynn Welles. It started as a small owner-operated full service tree service and remains that way today. All sales and work are supervised by a certified arborist. Northeast Tree Inc. specializes in technical removals and fine pruning. Use of rope and saddle techniques to access trees eliminates the need for heavy equipment on residential property. All work completed by Northeast Tree Inc. complies with ANSI Z.133 standards for safety, and ANSI A.300 standards for pruning. Our main focus is always safety, and we are constantly working to educate consumers on proper tree care and maintenance. 8 Employees, tree fertilizing & treatments. Cost is determined by the job. Travel charges sometimes apply.

Description of Work: They trimmed branches overhanging the roof from 6 large oaks. They were on time, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about how to trim our oaks without damaging them. The trees look great, the clearance over the roof is great and cleanup was impeccable. While at our house, they also answered some of our questions about tree care (at no extra charge) such as where cable could be buried without damaging roots.

Description of Work: In January 2014 they came and took down 2 evergreen trees and trimmed dead limbs off 2 oak. Cleaned up lot and then returned in april to grind up a stump. They were very good, professional and left a tidy yard. If I need work again on trees I will definitely call them. Their price was also reasonable.

Description of Work: Removed 2 American Elms and 1 Silver Maple in back yard and ground down the stumps and roots. Pruned another Silver Maple in the front. They cleaned up the yard and street so well when they were done you couldn't even tell they were there. Very happy with their service.
