Lynn was very professional and thorough. She gave me an honest evaluation of work that needed to be done versus work that could wait. Estimates and invoices were very clear. The workers sent to the site (including 1 arborist) were very polite and helped with a last minute addition to the job. The only negative part of the experience was that the workers thought they were supposed to remove the front hedges rather than trim them. If I would not have been home to meet them, I would have been very surprised when I got home. Since I was home, it wasn't a big deal. All in all a great experience. I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

We had several medium sized stumps that needed to be removed and chipped. Should be an easy job, but we had a hard time finding a service to do the work because some of the stumps had been pierced by fence wire. We received a few high bids and were turned down by other companies. Northeast did a great job! Their price was the lowest, they were not scared of some wire in the trunks and they were PROMPT! We would definitely use them again.

Lynn was great. She was very prompt with her response and the proposal was very competitive with the two other quotes I received. After I authorized the work, it was completed within a week- even with the July 4th holiday weekend.

I had a great experience with Northeast tree. Although I never talked with a person until the work was completed, things progressed quickly (I left messages on their machine). They were able to look at the trees while I was at work and then send me an estimate. They completed the work soon after we told them we'd like to go with them. They cleaned up nicely when the work was completed. The only hitch as that the people they'd hired to do the stump grinding were unable to get into my back yard to grind the stump of the yew. They didn't report this back to Northeast Tree, so I was charged for this removal although it wasn't done. I called Northeast tree and they were quick to remedy the bill situation. They charged less than another company that gave us an estimate. A third company said the job was too small. I was very pleased and would use them again.

Of the three estimates I got, Northeast Tree was $50 less than the next highest estimate, and half the cost of the third. All of the crew were friendly and professional. The lead (I'm sorry, I forget his name) was great. After removing the tree (which took about 2.5 hours) he stayed behind for at least a half an hour to give me estimates on injection for my remaining elms (one of which he said was not worth injecting since it was in rough shape) and identified all of the trees on the property for me. As a new homeowner, I don't know much about trees, but I found Northeast very helpful. I found out that I have 2 mulberry trees which will grow VERY large too large for the space they were allotted, and will not be very attractive or easy to maintain when full grown. I'll use them again for injection (and removal if necessary).

Their estimate was half the other estimate I got. I called for an estimate and got it two days later. I called for them to do the work and they showed up two days later. Very cheap, very fast and good work.

I was very pleased with Northeast Tree. The price they quoted me was below other bids and the work they did was excellent. They also went above and beyond what had been requested in very thoughtful ways, such as cutting some of the wood and adding it to my firewood pile instead of hauling it all away. I will use them again in the future.

Lynn was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable about her estimate. One other service recommended trimming and thinning for a tree that did NOT require it. Lynn could have done the same and gotten another $400. She honestly evaluated the tree and made the correct recommendation. Her crews (cutting and stump) were efficient and helpful.

They're very professional, and they take the time to explain everything they're going to do ahead of time.

Very quick to respond to both the enquiry and the request to do the work. They completed work the same day of the request. They presented a complete proforma and made suggestions that were good. Completed work as stated on proforma and as expected.

THESE FOLKS WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. INITIALLY, THEY SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH US LOOKING AT OUR NEEDS. THEY ACTUALLY TOLD US SOME WORK THAT WE THOUGHT WAS NECESSARY WAS NOT. WE RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE IN JULY, BUT THE WORK COULDN'T BE DONE UNTIL THE GROUND (& A POND) WERE FROZEN. WHEN WE CALLED TO SCHEDULE IN JANUARY, THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT WITHIN THE WEEK.

IN A RECENT STORM THE HONEY LOCUST LOST TWO LARGE BRANCHES, MORTALLY WOUNDING IT. THE BOX ELDER SEEMED HEALTHY, BUT I SUSPECTED THAT IT WAS NEARING THE END OF ITS LIFE AND, IF IT CAME DOWN, WOULD WREAK CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO MY HOUSE AND MY NEIGHBOR'S FENCE. LYNN CAME OUT TO INSPECT A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER I CALLED. SHE INSPECTED BOTH TREES VERY THOROUGHLY. AT FIRST SHE WAFFLED ON THE BOX ELDER, BUT THEN FOUND A VERY LARGE CRACK IN A MAIN LEADER, AND RECOMMENDED ITS REMOVAL. THE BID ARRIVED PROMPTLY, AND, ALTHOUGH IT SEEMED HIGH, WAS COMPETITIVE, BEING THE CHEAPEST OF THE THREE BIDS RECEIVED. THEY PROMISE THAT THE WORK WOULD BE DONE IN A FEW WEEKS, AND CAME AS PROMISED (ALTHOUGH THEIR INITIAL ATTEMPT WAS THWARTED BY A LIGHTNING STORM). THE REMOVAL WAS DONE VERY QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. THE YARD SHOWED ALMOST NO DAMAGE FROM THE LARGE CRANE, AND IT WAS LEFT SPOTLESS. LYNN AND THE COMPANY WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH, AND I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY FUTURE WORK.

THEY CAME AND QUOTED A PRICE. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE A COUPLE WEEKS, BUT WE SAID THAT WAS FINE. THEY ENDED UP SHOWING UP THE NEXT DAY AND TOOK OUT THE BUCKTHORN IN ABOUT 40 MINUTES. THEY TOLD ME THE STUMP GRINDER WAS A COUPLE DAYS BEHIND, SO HE CAME A FEW DAYS LATER. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY LEFT A COUPLE OF ROOTS, BUT THAT IS NOT A HUGE PROBLEM, I WILL FIND A USE FOR THEM. THEY WERE PLEASANT, THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. THEY EVEN PROVIDED EXTRA INFORMATION ON SOME ORGANIC LAWN TREATMENTS. I THOUGHT THIS WAS REALLY NICE OF THEM.

THIS IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL OUTFIT. THEY'VE DONE WORK FOR ME BEFORE AND I CONTINUE TO BE IMPRESSED BY THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL DISPLAYED BY ALL THE WORKERS AND THE CARE WITH WHICH THEY GO ABOUT THEIR WORK. THEY'RE VERY WELL EQUIPPED AND DO AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CLEANUP WHEN FINISHED. IF I HADN'T BEEN PRESENT WHEN THEY DID THE WORK, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HARD TO TELL THAT THEY'D BEEN HERE AT ALL! I BELIEVE GEORGE WELLS TO BE A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ETHICAL ARBORIST WHO LOVES HIS WORK AND CARES DEEPLY ABOUT HIS "PATIENTS". CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THERE WERE FIVE MEMBERS OF THE CREW, INCLUDING GEORGE, AND THE TIME THEY SPENT (ABOUT THREE HOURS), I FEEL THE PRICE I PAID FOR THE WORK WAS FAIR AND APPROPRIATE.

ALL WORK WAS DONE WHILE I WAS AT WORK. I CAME HOME AND THE TREE WAS GONE AND THERE WAS A LEVELED DIRT SPOT WHERE IT HAD STOOD. THE SITE WAS LEFT IN TIDY CONDITION. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS SERVICE.

GOOD SERVICE, ALTHOUGH SAID WAS COMING ON A CERTAIN DAY BUT DID NOT CALL US TO INFORM US THEY HAD TO COME ANOTHER DAY.

GEORGE ARRIVED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB TRIMMING OUR OVER-GROWN HONEY LOCUST TREE. RACOONS WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE ATTIC! HE REMOVED SEVERAL ALL OR DEAD SCRUBS AND THE CLEANUP WAS IMMACULATE. HE REALLY KNOWS A LOT ABOUT HOW TO CARE FOR TREES/PLANTS AND GAVE GOOD ADVICE ABOUT TREE TRIMMING AND REPLACEMENT PLANTS FOR THE ONES HE REMOVED.

THEY RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO MY REQUEST FOR A BID. I ASKED THEM TO DO THE WORK BEFORE THE SEED PODS EXPLODE AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COMPLY WITH THIS. THEY REMOVED THE TREE TRUNK IN ONE DAY AND CAME BACK LATER FOR THE STUMP. OVERALL, VERY TIDY. MY GRASS TOOK A BEATING FROM ALL THE HEAVY TRAFFIC, BUT WILL RECOVER. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE DEBRIS. THE PRICE WAS EXPENSIVE, BUT FAIR. I HAD A HIGHER BID FROM SOMEONE ELSE. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE FOR TREE TRIMMING, AND THEY DO GOOD WORK.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH NORTHEAST TREE, INC. WAS EXCELLENT. THEY WERE A LITTLE CHEAPER THAN MOST OF THE OTHERS I CALLED. THEY CALLED ME BACK THE SAME DAY (I DID NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER FIRMS I CALLED) AFTER THE INVENTORY THEY SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH ME ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. THEY ALSO WORKED VERY HARD TO PROVIDE ME WITH ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION THAT THE SELLERS OF THE PROPERTY WANTED TO HAVE. BOTH EMPLOYEES I DEALT WITH WERE VERY NICE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE NOT DECIDED YET WHETHER I WILL BUY THE PROPERTY BUT IF I DID I WOULD HIRE THIS FIRM TO DO THE TREE REMOVAL. I FEEL THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE.

GEORGE AND HIS TREE COMPANY WERE INCREDIBLY RESPONSIVE, FAIR-PRICED, AND PROFESSIONAL. HE DIDN'T EXPECT PAYMENT UNTIL THE ENTIRE JOB WAS DONE. MY PARTICUALR JOB WAS VERY DIFFICULT DUE TO LACK OF ACCESS TO TREES. GEORGE AND HIS CREW HANDLED IT EASILY AND PROMPTLY, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, AND MAINTAINED A SENSE OF HUMOR ABOUT THE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY. HE IS A REAL PRO!
