We were happy with the work Andrew did. He was easy to communicate with, punctual, and friendly. He even followed through with showing up a year and a half later to finish a detail after we had a door installed.

Excellent work. Thorough. Adaptable. Kept existing lath substructure; replaced moldy drywall. Recommended some ancient pipe replacement while exposed. (Subcontracted to Janecky Plumbing.). Came in within estimate and on time. Meticulous about curing sealants. Looks great. Waterproof, possibly bulletproof.

Andrew did a fantastic job installing a new porcelain brick look backsplash. He was great with communication and arrived on time. I will use him again for future projects.

Nordic Tile (Andrew) did an outstanding job of installing our handmade Motawi art tile kitchen backsplash. Right from the start, he assessed the project and laid out a clearly articulated five day plan for installation. His quote came the next day and was right in the middle of the three contractors that sent us quotes. We chose Nordic Tile because Andrew had previously installed thick art tile like ours, and he understood the nuances of its installation. He clearly articulated what he was going to do each day of the installation and always answered our questions in an understandable manner. He followed all the manufacturer’s instructions for installation, such as giving all the tile two coats of penetrating sealer. He was punctual and told us when he would arrive and when he expected to be done each day of the project. We couldn’t be happier with the installation and have received wonderful comments on how it turned out. Besides that, he is simply a nice person to be around.

We have hired Andrew for multiple jobs, the most recent being to put tile in our new basement bathroom and hallway which had very uneven floors. He came up with excellent solutions to make it look great, despite the problems. We were extremely pleased with the results as Andrew always does a beautiful job. He is also an excellent communicator and is easy to work with. We would definitely hire him again!

I would absolutely hire Andrew again. Good communicator, on time, detailed, and kept to his estimate. It was a big project, sunroom floor tile and 3/4 bathroom, and it all turned out beautifully.

Andrew did an excellent job with our bathroom tile floor and tile shower. The bathroom looks amazing with fresh tile and it still feels like the room is part of a fancy hotel. We appreciated how he listened to our project ideas and choice of materials compared to other bigger, busier, and more expensive tile companies. He didn't just say there is only one way to do the job and these are the only tiles that would work. Andrew is flexible and let us be as involved in the project as we wanted to be. He is also very generous with his time and expertise. He is also a responsive communicator and never left us hanging. We are very satisfied with the completed tile.

We had a leak in our shower but we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We had 3 companies bid and we went with Nordic Tile. Andrew gave us a detailed quote and a good response as to what he thought the issue was. We ultimately needed to get our shower completely redone. Which was a better situation then having to take out an entire ceiling and new plumbing installed, etc. This is our rental property and we don't live locally. Andrew did a great job at working with us over the phone through the entire project. He shopped at Home Depot for the tiles and told us the positives and negatives with the tile options I wanted. He was able to start the project just a few days after the bid. From tearing it down to finishing it, took 4 weeks. The entire project took 7 weeks. Andrew doesn't install the shower door. He can help you with the right company to go with but it takes awhile for it to come in and install. The new shower is modern and we had him increase the size to slightly bigger than 36x36. He replaced the old shower pan with new penny tile and dark gray grout. We also had him add a tiled shower caddy and rainfall shower head. Looks amazing!

Andrew made the project go smoothly, helping my husband and I make important decisions to personalize our shower renovation along the way. He is an excellent communicator, providing almost daily updates on his progress and checking in about the details to ensure that they met our expectations. He also helped us select tile that worked well for the space and made very helpful recommendations on tile vendors. Finally, his craftsmanship is extremely solid - great attention to detail with the tiling and grout work! We're very pleased with the end result and appreciated Andrew's engagement throughout the process.

I also appreciated that he was up-front, honest, and was able to provide me quality advice in regards to my shower which included a person to provide stone for the shower bench, curb, and vanity top. Awesome work creating our new backsplash with white subway tiles. Nordic was very communicative during the job and made sure everything was the way we wanted it. Showed up when he said he would and completed the job promptly.

We love Andrew Forsmark and we love his work! Why? The results are excellent - beautiful and durable. Andrew is personable, trustworthy and shows up when he says he will show up. He crafted our beautiful walk in shower and that was a huge amount of fiddly work (challenges are a given in redoing an older home) that turned out to be a work of art. Along the way, we also upgraded the floor with heat and added a custom marble backsplash over a pedestal sink. We also faced the challenge of dealing with a granite vendor that suddenly closed shop mid-stream. The best part of working with Andrew is his knowledgable consultation - we not only learned a lot, but we able to make informed decisions regarding drainage, maintenance, the pros-and-cons of heated floors and tile choice thanks to his wisdom and experience. Finally, Andrew was an absolute pro when it came to working with the other trades on the job, keeping our carpenter (Mike Strafelda - a brilliant introduction of Andrew's), electrician, plumbers, and HVAC people informed and on task. We need to remodel another bathroom in the near future and Andrew Forsmark will be on the job.
