Kurt was extremely nice to work with, as was his team, and he was very professional. The work looks great and we felt like we got a great value. We will definitely use him again in the future.

I could not have done better with anyone else. Very professional, very detail oriented in every area of the job. Always let me know when he was coming and showed up on time ?always. Small job with a lot of trips. I would definitely hire him again and will refer to him when we start getting bids on a much bigger job here. (i live in a condo). I might add, that I was dealing with a stressful situation at this condo. Neighbor upstairs died and unattended for 20 days. I moved out. After returning home Newday was hired to repair the wall damage done by some unprofessional maintenance guy looking for a source of the odor. Newday made this stressful situation a whole lot easier. They did a great job! Kurt came on the weekend to give us an estimate and carefully explained what they would do with our project. The estimate was clearly itemized so we could have easily decided to do just parts of the work. (We opted to have them do everything that they bid on.) Kurt was very punctual, friendly, straightforward, and just a really good guy. We left a key with them and they completed the job over 2.5 days while we were at work, which was exactly the amount of time Kurt said it would take. They left everything cleaner than it it was before the work. The work was well done--it's clear that Kurt and his colleagues take great pride in their work. We'll definitely call them again the next time we need painting.

It went really well. We have used them twice before in our previous home and really liked the work. They are trustworthy and very good with detail. Kurt is very good with color advice. We made all the arrangements via text and that worked out very well. We plan to hire them again!

Everything went perfect. I reached out to Kurt via Angies list and he responded in a timely manner. He went out of his way to be flexible in getting things scheduled to go over my requirements due to my scheduling complications. Kurt came out and provided a quote and was able to start the next day. All work was completed on time, budget and exceptionally well. I will absolutely use NewDay again for any plaster, painting or grout/calking needs. I've worked with many contractors and Kurt was one of the best and easiest to do business with that is for sure.

They have very good prices. They were prompt, courtesy, and professional. The work was tailored to my preferences, I have a specific style to my home and they matched the work perfectly. They were very accommodating to my needs. New Day was also very accommodating with my schedule for this project. When I needed to add additional projects, they were able to adapt and it was very much appreciated. I would definately use them again for interior and exterior work of my home. They are very trustworthy and was able to leave a key to have work done when I wasn't home.

Kurt and Chris did a super job. When I called Kurt the first time, his message suggested texting him our info. which I did. He responded within a couple of hours and set up appointment the next day at which he arrived promptly. Newday bid was higher than but another but we appreciated the fact that as owner, he did all the work with his partner Chris. The estimating process was exceedingly thorough. Excellent communicators both. We had planned to go on vacation while the painting was going on (3 weeks) and noted that other reviewers had trusted Newday without issues. This was a big plus. I think we had at least three meetings over a week to draft a comprehensive and detailed scope of work contract and color / finish selection. Kurt kept us apprised of the progress by text and phone. When we arrived home, the job was complete and beautifully done. The house was clean. Drop cloths covered the furniture to protect from dust. A difficult ceiling repair was done so well it was impossible to see any sign of the previous water damage. There were two issues. 1) My wife was unhappy with her color selection in hall and stairway. 2) The paint in the man cave proved defective. The day after we got home (labor Day) Kurt called to see how we liked the job. We explained the issues and made an appointment with them for the next day. After discussion, we elected to have them repaint the hall and stairway in a different color at our expense. Newday agreed to re-prep and then repaint the basement using a different paint at no charge. We expected that this would be done over the next week or two but they insisted on starting the next day. By the end of the week, both issues were corrected. The charge for repainting the stairway and hall was minimal. We are very satisfied customers. We will use Newday again and highly recommend them to others.

Looked good. They did get paint on a wall paper border and I had to point that out. The border was no longer on the market, so they put up a new border I chose. One of the good things is that they will paint and work along side of you.

Worked me into schedule on short notice. Worked well with other contractors I had working in property at same time. Knowledgeable, Timely and clean, not perfect but very good job. Gladly offered advice on painting I was taking on myself.

Kurt was unavailable given his busy schedule, but we would consider working with him in the future.

Kurt is very professional. He arrived on time, put down covers on our floors, prepped our walls and painted. We are very happy with the final product and his pricing is very fair . He cleaned up after himself both days and made sure we were happy with the results. We are going to have him back next week to stain our deck, I've even asked him to paint my mother's Condo! We would highly recommend him.

Did the work while we were away on vacation and work was done in a very professional manner with excellent workmanship and great cleanup and prep. Found one tiny blemish after we returned and they returned and fixed it immediately. Their price for the work was 2/3rds of other contractors and we couldn't have asked for anything better.

The dynamic duo of Kurt & Chris -removed wallpaper - prepared wall surface for paint - painted - repaired holes in wallboard left from old curtain rods. In addition - took great care to protect my floors - took down a heavy mirror and pictures (and replaced them when done) - covered and protected buffet and table. It was necessary that I leave for work and I had no doubt that my house was secure - they are totally trustworthy! When I returned, everything was clean (floors even vacuumed) and returned to its normal state ..only much more beautiful. These guys do quality work - there is not one imperfection. They are meticulous in their attention to detail.I will hire them again in a nano-second. You should too - you won't be sorry.

Scheduled with Kurt to give me an estimate on several patch and paint jobs I needed done in my house. He didn't appear at the appointed time, so I called him to see if he was still coming. He never really did say what had happened. but was able to come to do the estimate later that same day. (Unfortunately, that kind of shot my whole afternoon in terms of things I needed to do away from home.) Kurt did come, listen to what we needed done, asked questions and said he would send an estimate. We never received an estimate, so we hired someone else. It may be that he had plenty of work and our job was just too small for him, but I would have appreciated him saying that, or calling me back to decline after thinking it through. I was disappointed given all the great reviews he has received on Angie's List.

We hired Kurt and his crew for this project because he did such a great job for us on a previous occasion, and we weren't disappointed. They completed the work quickly and efficiently, Kurt frequently sought my feedback as the project progressed, and the crew was always on time and professional. Furthermore, they did quality work and cleaned up so nicely that the final project turned out better than I could have ever expected.

Our basement flooded in early summer 2013. We removed everything as soon as we could but the water damaged the walls. They came out and checked where the damage was and the mold started within a foot from the floor. Initially they could not come until later but when they found a few days in between jobs, they squeezed us in, which we were really thankful. They replaced the bottom part of the walls and also the bathroom ceiling where we had the water damage before. Everything went well. I gave an 'A' to the punctuality because they were stuck in the traffic one day and could not come on time. But they called and informed us where they were and how long it would take. They finished the work on time, cleaned up everything afterwards so we could repaint the wall. They gave us an estimate for painting but we did it on our own so the price included removal and installation of the drywalls. Now our basement looks fresh & new!

it in general went very well. they take their time. left little mess--few paint drops here and there. did a good job of spackling and missed only a few holes. price was reasonable but it is good to have exactly what you are paying for written down. any extras and they will charge extra--reasonable. they take a lot of pride in their work and had good suggestions regarding some of the color scheme.

When he came to the house he asked specific questions about the project, suggested options. His estimate arrived when he said it would. The bid was competitive. I did not select him as a contractor. I would certainly consider him for a project in the future.

Kurt was great! I contacted him on a Monday, he stopped by Monday night to give an estimate, and completed the 2-day job on Tuesday and Wednesday. Getting the wall repaired was so much easier than I thought! Kurt gave a straightforward estimate of 5 hours' work at $35 per hour, and he offered to cover the cost of the plaster (since he already had a lot of it on hand). Even after going through 6 buckets of plaster - much more than either of us thought was needed - his final bill came in right at the estimate: $175. The work turned out great... high quality and quickly done, and Kurt was really easy to talk with and a personable guy.

It went well. It was great working with Kurt and his team again. We've worked with them now for 3 years.
