Barack did a tremendous job staining my deck and fence and I couldn't be happier. I'm an avid Angie's List user and I have high expectations for all the services I hire through the site. Baraack met and exceeded those expectations. I would highly recommned Barack for any deck or fence job.

This deck is attached to rental property and subject to high traffic. I had in the past had a handyman maintain my deck. He always used a natural clear stain which I liked very much but it would never last much more than a year. Barak was very good to suggest a darker stain/color which he said would last much longer in this situation. Actually, he pretty much insisted and I'm glad he did. With his experience he knew best. It looks great. It has a wonderful finish. I obtained 3 bids. Barak was in the middle. He honored his match statement by lowering his bid. He's wonderful to work with. Neat, cleans up and is careful not to mar or damage any part of the deck. The only way I knew he had been there was the beautiful like new deck.

Barack did an excellent job from the estimate of service to power washing deck and brick walk to staining the deck. He was very professional, prompt, and gave advice on how to maintain the deck. I highly recommend this company!

Barak did an excellent job cleaning and staining the deck. His price was also very competitive. He also came back afterwards when I called to let him know that some of the stain was on the railing and needed to be cleaned off. He cleaned the railing perfectly. He also made a follow-up call to let me know if there were any other areas that needed to be addressed to just give him a call. Very professional in his service and follow-up.

Left an email, Barack called back the next day. Explained that I had a 7 year old deck made from Trax. Never been cleaned. He said he could power wash it. Told him when he was in the area he could take a look and give me an estimate. He stopped by and called back with some questions. We agreed on the service and I told him when he was in the area to go ahead. Just let me know when he was coming and I would take all the furniture etc. off the deck. Came home last night, and the deck was done, all furniture moved, and the deck literally looked brand new. Both my wife and I were very pleased.

The decks are around 11 and 13 years old. I had cleaned them about 4 years ago and not resealed them so they were very dirty and also quite porous. I had new stairs put in and some new railing last fall, so we were dealing with new and old wood and also the old green treated lumber and new treated lumber. Because of this there is a slight color variation between the old and new wood. I requested an eco-friendly stain and they assisted me in finding one which was not part of the $600.00. I paid for the stain and it was shipped to me. If you go this route be prepared that you are likely to pay about twice the amount you would pay for a conventional stain but I thinki it is worth it if you are able to use it. At first the knots in the wood decking that was stained tended to have a little bit of a grayish color but after being in the sun for a few days that was gone. The longer the stain is on the deck the better it looks as it "bakes" in. I would say the stain has a softer more natural appearance than the conventional stains. Time will tell how it holds up, I think it will do well. They did a very nice job. The only thing I would change is I should have purchased another gallon of stain because the one portion of my deck was very porous and there was no stain left to recoat it and recoating needs to be done within an hour or so.

Barak was very prompt at responding to emails and phone calls, was flexible with my schedule and was very polite and professional. He came one week on Thurs to clean and the next week Tues to stain. I'm amazed at how different it looks--he took a old, gray looking deck and turned it into a beautiful cedartone deck--definitely pleased. Plus, for an extra $40 he powerwashed our lower deck and staircase (previously painted) so that we could repaint. He was very helpful in suggesting ways to repaint economically. Thanks!

Barak and team did a tremendous job re-inventing our deck. It looks brand new. He also threw in the services of prepping and staining a small bench in our front yard, as well as our mailbox (both of which he added as services without prompting). The work was done very quickly - about 1.5 days total labor for a rather large area - and the end result is amazing. He also left us with materials that help us understand how to keep up the deck over time, and when additional work will need to be done. He and his team were prompt & professional and seemed to enjoy what they do!

Barak was very responsive with leaving me an estimate. His price was reasonable and he was prompt about getting the work done. I would not hesitate working with him again.

I sent an email requesting a quote. He came out within a few days (we were gone) and left an estimate. I liked the estimate and discount, so I asked that he do the work as soon as the weather and his schedule permitted. He called a week or two later and said it was warm enough and he would like to start Monday. On Monday, he power washed and brightened the deck. He let it dry a few days, then came back an applied a stain (he recommended a particular color for best UV protection). He put on two coats, being careful to get between the boards and all around the sides. It looks fantastic.

He was a nice guy and it was pretty good. He was really knowledgeable and I am evaluating the estimate. It took take him a while to get out, but he had a pretty good excuse.

Result were Great! the deck looks better than it has for a long time. Almost new looking. Yes we would hire them again. They know what they are doing and they are efficient and friendly.

The power washing was great, we could see the potential. There was a longer delay between the washing and staining than we would have liked but partially due to weather and his schedule. The stain is gorgeous our deck is preserved. We will have Barak out every two years since his pricing and work are very acceptable. I also appreciated when we first called him that he came out and gave a quote the next day, no big delay or drama in the quote, it was fair and we accepted it.

Our twelve year old deck was extremely weathered and worn looking. Based on positive Angie's List ratings, we called New Again for an estimate on power washing, cleaning and staining the deck. New Again owner was knowledgable, courteous and prompt, and provided a competitive bid with job scheduling the following week. New Again owner was very helpful in discussing different options, stains and approaches. After cleaning, New Again provided three test area samples of different stains. Job was completed on time, on budget and was suberbly done. Given the condition of our deck, the results far exceeded our expectations - a great job! Also did a great job on some wood furniture.

Excellent experience! Barak's estimate was significantly more prompt in arriving that the other two companies we asked to bid. His quote was easy to read, and his prices were also much better. He came out several times to discuss the project to make sure he understood our needs. Since we recently had an addition put on our deck, he was dealing with wood of different types, age and color. He used two different color stains, and the results were fantastic. He hand applied all stain rather than sprayed, so there was no mess. Would use again in a heartbeat.

It went very well - the only thing I wish I had done was give the company all my phone numbers so it would have been easier to stay in contact with the scheduling of work - completely my issue, not theirs - but I'd like to offer it as a tip.

It went well. After getting a couple of quotes, New Again came in the lowest. Others were three times as much. He looked at our decks ahead of time, explained the process, and then came out and did the work a few days later. Deck looks great. The project actually turned out to be more work than he estimated, due to the unique nature of our decks - but he stuck with his original bid. We decided to give him a bit more than he estimated to make up for the extra work. We will hire them again to do our kids play set.

Received a free estimate in March. Hired him in April. Deck cleaned and stripped to bare wood on April 29. When the wood dried spots of old stain were noticable on railing spindles. He recleaned the entire deck until all the old stain was removed. Hand sanding was done on the rough areas of the wood I have never seen this deck looking so good. He matched the stain to the color of the new cedar fence and used a stain that has great UV protection. Although he had a power prayer to use, he stained the entire deck by hand since the weather conditions, high winds, would have made using the sprayer risky. He was extremely efficient and careful of the existing plants, flowers and shrubs. I received careful instruction on when I could safely use the deck.
