This was a small deck project. Barack was very quick to provide an estimate and then (when weather permitted) completed the job as requested. He was very efficient and pleasant to work with and provided some good hints going foward.

Their job on the deck was dictated by weather, and they did a great job of squeezing in their work between rain storms. We gave them a date in which it needed to be finished and, even with some bad weather, they completed the job on time. We've had the deck stained several times over the years, but this is the first time such a thorough job was done. They completely stripped all of the old finish off the deck, the railings, and the stairs, then applied two coats of stain. It looks absolutely beautiful -- the best I have ever seen it look. The product they used is excellent -- I can see rain beading up on the deck now. Their estimate was very reasonable, and they showed up on their own -- we didn't have to call and ask when they were coming to do the job. They were very neat during this process; no stain on parts where it doesn't belong. I highly recommend New Again Deck Renewal. They do excellent work in a timely manner, and are reasonably priced.

Deck looks great! Excellent, responsive service. Quote was lowest of two and work was performed as quoted. Communication (with owner, Barak) was good throughout. Work was delayed due to weather a few times but Barak kept me informed as to the status. He was also very helpful with color selection.

Having asked for estimates from 5 other companies to clean and re-stain my two decks, I had a good idea of what the going rates are. Barak's bid was the lowest of the 6, and between that and the reviews here it made me feel like he was the right choice. His guy came out when he said he would, did the work he said he would, didn't leave a mess or spill stain all over my siding or air conditioner, and was willing to use the stain I'd already purchased as opposed to their own. Decks look great!

They came to do the preparation work on the 27th of June and on July 6th they came to finish the work. They took all of the old finish off of my deck, cleaned it and refinished and sealed it. In order to get it in preparation, the gentleman spent 5 hours to clean the old finish off. There was a lot of hard to remove finish on the deck. He took the time to do it right so that when he put the finish and sealer on, it took properly. Everything looks great! I would use them again in the future. For no cost to me, they even cleaned an entire cement patio. They also left some finish with me incase I need to do some touch ups to it.

After poser washing deck and wood stairway, waited a couple days for the deck to dry and the rain to stop. Stained the deck. Discussed possible issues with the deck for future consideration. Prompt, courteous, professional.

I found this contractor on Angie's. From bidding to completion went very smoothly. Good communication throughout. Stayed on job and finished in 4 days start to finish. Great cleanup. Outstanding work. Turned my embarrassing deck into a deck to be proud of. I am very grateful.

I will definitely use him again. I had used a different company (Roof-to-Deck) and had a completely opposite experience. That company was bad in every regard. Using New Again Deck is a no-brainer. An estimate was provided by the company within 3 days of our request. The estimate was fair and reasonable. Barak, the owner, personally power washed the deck with cleaner and returned to stain the deck (nice color!) in a very timely manner. Barak is very courteous, personable and professional. Barak is very personable and hard working. He finished in a timely fashion, even with the difficult spring weather we've experienced. We are also pleased with the stain color he suggested for the deck. Barak also powerwashed 2 cedar deck chairs to "renew" their look. It was a great suggestion. It worked! Great! The grout was really dingy, and now it's white again. He was punctual, professional and fair. The price was right, too.

It was excellent. Before meeting Barak, I was skeptical that my floor could be restored to its original appearance, but I have to say he did an outstanding job, and my floor couldn't look better. Barak was on time, gave me an accurate estimate and completed the work within a few days. I was able to walk on my floor again within just a few hours and move my furniture back within 2 days. Best of all, I didn't have to deal with the fine dust or horrible smell from the sanding process. I was so impressed, I hired Barak to restore the grout in my bathroom!

After thoroughly interviewing 7 contractors, I chose New Again Deck Renewal -- which was the right choice! Last year, my deck had been poorly stained with a bordeaux finish which was peeling after one year. I needed expert help in removing the old stain and protecting the wood with a more logical choice of colors and product. Barak thoroughly checked the deck, went through every detail of the process with me and quoted me a fair price. He worked extremely hard from beginning to end and his experience showed with the end result -- and he was a pleasure to work with. I am extremely happy and will not hesitate to call him when it is time for maintenance.

Great job and great value. New Again Deck Renewal was one of 3 Angie's List-ed bidders for staining our new upper-level cedar deck (including stairs and railings) and re-staining our patio decking. They beat the next-lowest bid by nearly $200. Communication was good, and Barak, the owner, was patient and understanding when I had to delay the project because the deck builder needed to replace some splintered boards. Despite a rainy summer and a fast-approaching autumn, he was able to get the staining done with sufficient time for the stain to dry just ahead of another rainstorm. Barak gave good hints and updates throughout, and left over a gallon of stain for me to touch up places or double-up light spots.

It was good. There was some uncertainty as to the exact dates of work that took a few extra calls to make sure when work was starting and when it was finalized. Overall though it was fine and Barak did a good job.

Barack did a great job on our deck. He has good attention to detail and was very neat. The deck and playset look wonderful again, and the price was very reasonable compared to the other quotes we received. We will definitely refer his buisness to others and plan on using him again next time!
