We had purchased the stripping of the deck through an Angie's List special After the stripping was complete, we received a quote to re-stain and seal the deck All the work was completed efficiently and on time

I scheduled for Thursday but because of equipment problems they came on Friday. Barak came with his 2 employees and it took a little over an hour to complete on my 1 1/2 story bungalow. They brought their own generator and I provided water. Because of the delay they gave me a bit of a discount and I was very pleased that the gutters were completely cleared of ice as well as some snow raking.

Barak was able to squeeze me in the same day. There were 2 men and it took about an hour to remove snow from my roof. They are prompt, neat and professional. I will definitely keep them on speed dial for snow emergencies such as this and given the work and professionalism I have experienced will keep them in mind for deck renewal. Thanks! :)

Responses to scheduling was prompt. Person performing the service arrived in the time frame I was told to expect him. Very courteous and answered all of my questions.

New Again had gotten great reviews on Angie's List, so we gave them a shot. We were not disappointed. Barak and his crew were very thorough and punctual. Barak returned every phone call and e-mail with in 12 hours, and most within the hour. They did a great job staining our fence and deck. Our neighbor's garden is next to our fence and they took great care with it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their deck or fence stained.

New Again really saved my house from water damage by removing all the snow and ice dams from my roof. Barak and his crew are professional, courteous and punctual. They showed up on time and got the work done in the estimated amount of time. They even brought a generator for their equipment, not needing to run cords into my house for powering the all the equipment. Barak made this problem hassle free for me and my family; I will be using New Again if this ever happens again.

My initial contact with New Again was prompted by an Angie's List coupon for half off pressure washing a deck. We had a back yard wedding reception less than 2 weeks away and thought let's give this company a chance. We were extremely impressed by their prompt attention to our somewhat unrealistic expectations. They showed up 2 days later to pressure wash the deck and then stained it about 3 days after that. We were lucky that the weather cooperated but we were also lucky that New Again actually cared about our situation. The deck looks fabulous and we were given many compliments at the party. Because of their great work we decided to have our cedar porch next to the deck power washed and stained the same color as the deck. Once again New Again gave us a time frame and stuck to it. Fortunately we gave them a bit more time to get this job done as it wasn't as time sensitive as the deck renewal. I can't say enough about the professionalism in demeanor and action of New Again. They were great in all aspects of the transaction, from the estimate to the clean up. Thanks! We'll be calling you again, New Again!

Barak did a fantastic job on our large three-level deck, two sets of stairs, and two large benches. It had an almost impossible to remove finish on it from previous staining, and he made sure his products could do the job before bidding. He and his workers worked tirelessly to remove the existing stain on the deck and on benches. The new finish was applied well, and the deck looks new again! We are impressed with Barak's good communication, letting us know when the job was taking slightly longer than he anticipated, and we like the pride he took in his work. We would definitely use Barak and his team again!

Overall it went splendidly. I was not annoyed with anything and I annoy rather easily.

Barak sanded the horizontal surfaces and was able to stain them to exactly match the paint on our vertical pieces. Very pleased. His quote was also about $300 less than two other companies we contacted.

It's looks like we have a new deck! The color is "pecan" and looks great. They arrived when promised and worked hard. The process went well from start to finish. Barak is very professional, courteous and easy to work with. I will definitely recommend him to others.

Barak did a wonderful job cleaning and staining our deck. We especially appreciated the fact that he carries a line of eco-friendly stains (Timber OX) that are much healthier than typical deck stains. Rather than smelling noxious fumes, the Timber OX stain had a pleasant citrus smell. Although this stain is a little more expensive, we think it looks remarkable and we appreciate that it is safer and healthier for our family and the environment. We highly recommend this company!

We had tried to use our own power washer, but didn't come anywhere close to how clean they were able to get it. They were very quick to respond and perform the work. My deck looks so much better. They even cleaned our wooden swing as a bonus.

. The first time they did it Tim, who did the work, was not satisfied with the results and said he needed a stronger bleach to get the job done right. He came back 9/4/2012 and redid the job. My deck looks great and I am very pleased they took it upon themselves to redo the job until it was done right. Great people to work with and great results.

Barak did a phenomenal job with our deck! It was so gray and dirty (it had never been stained before, so really needed cleaning and staining) before, and I was amazed when I came home after he had powerwashed the deck. What a transformation! Barak was also great because he included--at no extra cost--a table and 2 chairs on the deck that also needed cleaning and staining. This made a huge difference in our choosing him to do the work. The stain he helped us choose is also exactly right for this deck--I had initially thought of getting a somewhat darker stain, but he suggested that the lighter one would look better, and he was right. The staining was done this morning and it looks absolutely beautiful. Barak is great about returning phone calls (or, rather, he always answers his phone) and emails. The process for getting an estimate was also so easy and fast, and he ended up coming to do the work a week earlier than I had anticipated. Very professional and really excellent workmanship. I had first started getting estimates from painters, and then found Barak on Angie's list. It makes so much more sense to get someone who specializes in decks. The price was a bit lower than some of the other estimates (and quite a bit lower than one of the other estimates), and I cannot imagine that the workmanship of the higher estimate could have been any better than this. All in all: we will definitely get Barak back in a few years when the deck needs re-staining, and will be recommending him to all our friends. A++++

Quick turnaround for the estimate - which is not common from my experience in tryiing to get estimates. Very professional job on the washing and the refinish. Would definately hire again.

It was excellent. He squeezed us into his busy schedule, arrived on time, and did a superb job. The deck looked great in time for the luncheon. We did not seal it at the time, but he planned to come back after the event to seal it later.

From beginning to end we received very prompt communications from New Again Deck Renewal. He provided estimates as to when he would be able to begin the work. Knowing that much of his work is weather dependent, we had to work with what mother nature provided. He was accurate with his time estimates and very thorough with his work. He noticed that the professional deck cleaner he used did not clean all of the old stain off as well as he would like. He took it upon himself to go above and beyond to get the job done right, this included renting a sander to complete the deck preparation. This was not included on our initial quote and we were not billed any extra for the labor or rental of the equipment. In a day when many companies and businesses cut corners it was refreshing to have this kind of service. The finished product left us with a deck that looked brand new! We found Barak on Angie's List and called him and he told us that he was working on others jobs but would come out in a couple of weeks or so. He did make it out to power wash the deck and then we had rain or near rain whenever they tried to come out and do the staining. So it was another week or two before they came back. He warned me that it would look a little orange for a week or two and so I was prepared for it to look allot worse then it did. It actually didn't look as orange as I was worried it might. They did a very nice job and we are happy with the work.I was glad that he had warned me about the color before doing the job so I had a chance to change my mind. He really wanted us to be happy with the stain and the quality and we are.Also he pre-warned me that it was a little more expensive because of the type of finish that had been on the deck previously. The former finish which was done by the builder of our deck previously was something that did not soak into the deck and peeled in places.We are much happier with this product and it was worth the price to us.

Over the past 4 years we have had 3 other deck restoration companies attempt to do this job and each failed miserably. Now - finally - we have a great looking front porch and deck. I will definitely use New Again Deck Renewal for this work.
