Contacted Barak regarding an estimate on July 1st. Had a bit of a mix-up on the email but I contacted him again (a week later) and he came out the next day for the estimate. I decided to go with New Again and let Barak know - he was very busy at the time - in the end he made it out near the end of July. We have several correspondences via email and he was very good about responding. Power washing and staining went off without a hitch. Barak gave me some pointers and explanation on the stain, age of deck, etc and was very helpful. The deck looks terrific and I would definitely recommend New Again Deck to my friends and family!

New again deck did a very nice job of cleaning and staining deck at a very reasonable price. Would definitely use again in the future.

Too busy for any work until late Fall 2013

Some communication snags at startup. In progress right now. Once the actual work started to be performed, the person power washing today did a very thorough and able job.

It was a good experience. The gentleman with whom we dealt was very knowledgeable and direct while maintaining an air of friendly professionalism. Because of this, we will use them for the job.

They were quick and professional. They gave us many options as the work progressed. There was no surprise with the bill at the end of the project.

I live in downtown St. Paul, where we have a pigeon problem. Last year, when I had pigeons landing and nesting in the corner of my deck, I applied a repellent to the corner where the problem had been occurring. Unfortunately, the repellent absorbed into the deck which resulted in a dark stain. Barak Brodni of New Again Deck Renewal and his assistant did a fantastic job. Since I live on the 4th floor, they sanded the wood on the deck, taking care not to send debris flying to my downstairs neighbor's deck. They were very considerate and very knowledgeable and were able to get the job done in quick order. After they stained and sealed the deck, it looked almost new and the pigeon repellent stain in the corner was barely noticeable. I would definitely hire New Again Deck Renewal in the future.

Overall things went well. The price was good and Barack was easy to contact and to communicate with. We had a deck that hadn't been treated in years and so required extensive cleaning before sealing. Barak and his team put in a lot of hours (four days) to make things look nice. It wasn't until after Barak was done that we realized our deck probably needed more than just a cleaning and resealing to make it look truly good again. Next time I think we will pay more to have the deck sanded before it is sealed. Also, if your pergola is next to any windows, you may want to consider paying extra to have someone paint the sealer on the pergola rather than spray it on. There was a lot of overspray on the windows (despite extraordinary effort from the crew to contain it), and getting sealer off of windows is very difficult. (Try "Simply Green" concentrated spray to soften the spots and then SCRUB). To conclude, Barak and his team did what they said they would do, at a very reasonable price. It isn't his fault that we didn't realize we wanted more, until after the job was done.

We were so impressed with the timeliness and quality of work done by New Again Deck Renewal. We love how our deck looks now and are excited to put everything back on it when it has finished drying. New Again Deck Renewal did everything as promised and managed to get this all done even though the weather has been very uncooperative. We will always now use New Again Deck Renewal when we need to have our deck power washed and stained. The quality of work was perfect!

It went fantastic. We were absolutely surprised at how well the deck looked after the power washing and staining. He was on time, very courteous and his initial cost estimate matched the final bill. We would definitely use the service again and recommend The company wholeheartedly to our friends.

My experience was fairly painless. Aside for some rain delays, the work went quickly. I was pleased with the end result. This is the second time that I have had this provider seal my deck.

Barak was great. I noticed leaking through my eaves and called in a panic. He was able to fit my job in on that same day. His pricing is very reasonable and fair. He charged me a lesser rate for areas of snow removal than for those areas where he removed ice dams. He suggested removal only in areas that he thought could become or already were problematic. He did not have a minimum charge - he charged me only for the time he spent doing the work. He was efficient and careful. He cleared any ice that fell in walkways. He gave me suggestions for avoiding problems in the future. I would definitely hire him again.

Barak responded quickly while it was still snowing providing an estimate and said he would call back when the weather permitted the work. Sure enough, Barak called and completed the deck and painting in early May. My wife picked the stain color and was very happy and if my wife is happy so am I. Barak and his team did a great job.

I used Angie's List to find a list of highly reviewed service providers to refinish my front porch, back deck, and play system. From start to finish, New Again Deck Renewal was excellent. My estimate was provided to me in less than 48 hours. Their estimate was less expensive than the others I received and their reviews were higher, so it seemed like a "no brainer" to me. They came out to pressure wash and prepare the wood surfaces for stain as soon as the weather allowed. A few days later they came to stain and they were able to complete all the staining in one day. Additionally, I asked if they could wash off my paver patio while they had the pressure washer there...they said that was no problem and didn't charge me extra for that (however, I did tip the gentleman). After the work was done, I noticed a little stain splattered on the rocks below my deck...they were quick to get that cleaned off with no problems. All in all, I am extremely satisfied. Very professional. Very responsive. High quality work. Good price. I will definately use them again in a few years when we need to stain again.

Everything went well. The owner came out and did it himself he was punctual friendly professional and done in 2 days. 1st day was pressure washing then came back a second day for staining once the deck was dry. Overall we were satisfied with the work done.

Good professional scheduling and work. A little overspray on garden, but not much. Excellent value.

Everything was great. Only minor issue was that Barak is so gung-ho on his work that I had to hold him off while my rescreener was finishing some repairs. There were some minor hiccups in final details and weather that made it take a couple of extra days, but Barak was flexible, as was I. Overall, the end result was well work the price and the wait.

First they gave me an estimate and then they came back and finished it. I think it took them two or three days to do it. I am looking at it now and it does not look like it was a good job. The person who came out was professional, honest and cleaned up the mess that was made.

He arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled.

They were very professional and up front. The services that they performed were below expectations. They did make good on the whole thing in the end. Overall, we were happy with them. We had issues with them during the job itself.

I called Barak during the late summer to see if I can get my deck restained. It was at the end of the season and the weather was too cold for him to do it. I told him that I would be interested early next spring to get the deck done. We had a really warm spell before Thanksgiving. He called me up and we got the deck done within that tight window. He got the deck looking very nice and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him.

I thought they were very pleasant to work with; however, the results only looked good for one season. So, we ended up doing it again the next year. The product they used was not a good product.

The provider was very easy to work with and did the work quickly and efficiently. The job was done very professionally and there was no problem with him completing the work (on an external deck) while I was out of the house.

I bought an Angie's list Big Deal for deck cleaning because my deck was long overdue. Working with Barak was a pleasure. He was responsive and timely - the work was done exactly as promised, and exactly when promised with none of the runaround and rigamarole we've come to expect from contractors today. I am pleased with the work and will be recommending New Again Deck Renewal to my friends.
