Description of Work: We needed a 60+ ft Silver Maple removed from our tiny MPLS backyard.

Description of Work: In September 2017,I contacted 3 tree care companies that I had used before, specifically for tree trimming and removal.I went on AngiesList for a different company review and decided to glance at tree care companies even though I had decided on one of the companies I had used before.I came across reviews on Neighborhood Tree Care LLC. and one in particular that had pictures.I decided to give them a call for one more estimate as they were based in my area.I was pleased with their prompt response and explanation that they were tree climbers and had a certified arborist.Gut feelings are as important as reviews and I decided to hire them. They do not use aerial buckets and climb trees without spikes(that dig into trees and cause possible damage).I scheduled work to be done on October 2(arrived on time as promised).Stump grinder arrived as promised within the week and stump grindings removed the following week.Everything was cleaned up very well and the guys were gracious and went out of their way to act on my requests as the job progressed.I had a full trim on a large silver maple,2 ash trees trimmed and an ash tree removed with the stump ground down.

Description of Work: Cut and remove 6 trees, from smaller to large in size. Trim two large silver maples. Picked NTC because bid came in nearly half of others with large equipment. All tree materials were removed by hand with minimal disturbance to yard.

Description of Work: A nearby forest of trees (specifically 1 pine tree & 1 huge cottonwood) were causing havoc on my roof, gutters and yard. Every rain event caused me to climb up onto the roof and lean over the edge to clear the gutters in the middle of the night during lightening infused thunderstorms. It was either that or get a flooded basement. One rainstorm night around 2:AM, I got up onto the roof to risk life and limb (no pun intended). I got soaked with a 100 trillion tablespoons of rain that pelted and drenched me. After every lightening bolt, I excruciatingly awaited the dreadful explosion or crack or boom of the thunder with a fearful wince. It was then that I wondered to myself. What night will it be that I slip and fall two stories onto either the concrete steps or the asphalt driveway, thus cracking my skull and snapping my neck? I never retroactively thought of it as some adventure like a story to tell my kids. On the contrary. This was a real possibility and probably more than a 50 percent chance that I'd end up dead. This very thought gave me the incentive to contact numerous tree pros. Only three answered. I narrowed down two. One of them was Caleb at Neighborhood Tree Care LLC. At first, their quote was very high, but when Caleb asked what my other competitor's quote was, he decided to match it. I immediately accepted. Not only because Caleb matched his competition, but because Caleb was a true gentleman, a professional and honest, he was local, he made an immediate impact on me and what really mattered most is that Caleb communicated often and kept me in the know throughout all of the issues (sudden snow, extreme cold, holidays, our holiday travel, etc.) that prevented the job to start. Others kept me in the dark or just disappeared only to resurface when money was probably tight for them. Caleb and Neighborhood Tree Care conducted business as it should be conducted. He kept his company at the top of the list just because he texted every so often to keep himself in front of my eyes before anybody else. Caleb knew his diplomatic skills, which was simply being a truly nice guy. When a break occurred, Caleb and his partner were there. He felled the pine tree with a precision I could not fathom. As if they used a mathematical formula and dropping the tree exactly inches of the property line. Then they got to work on the cottonwood drawing upon the same mathematical precision as the pine tree. Caleb and his partner were able to clean up, trim and cut branches or limbs off that huge, grizzly looking cottonwood to actually make it look prettier without disturbing it's health. After they finished, you could tell that the cottonwood will most definitely produce very little debris and less drag from any wind thus making it safer. Truly Caleb, his partner and Neighborhood Tree Care reduced the risk to my life. And limb? I don't know about who others would hire, but I'm not taking any chances. If I need any tree or brush work done again, I'm hiring Neighborhood Tree Care. After witnessing every aspect (from quote to finish) of this job, my faith is dedicated to Caleb, his crew and his company for this type of work again. I won't trust anybody else after this experience.
