Description of Work: The technician was 5 minutes early. He updated the computer and worked on the printer. He was here for about 2 hours, but when he figured the bill, he stated that since we were chatting, he would only charge one hour of service, and he volunteered the Angie's List Discount. The total was $45.00. This is the best service I have had a repair facility. I will definitely have them back again.

Description of Work: This provider was knowledgeable and worked on both a laptop and a desktop for me. I dropped off the laptop in Fridley and he delivered it back to my home and then assisted with some issues with my desktop computer too. He provided anti-maleware software that can be loaded on multiple computers, and he fixed some issues with the computer not responding to programs. I was very pleased with the thoroughness and will use this provider again in the future for computer service.

 + -1 moreWayne (I think that is his name, but not sure) is capable of doing some basic computer work, such as virus removal and setup, but does not seem to have the ability to diagnose complex problems with a system. He is very good at coming asap and charges a very reasonable amount, e.g. $45 a visit. I would call him again for a minor problem.
Description of Work: My computer sound system was acting up. I had purchased a new sound board and the company owner came to assist me in installing it. As it turned out, it was the wrong type of board. He did not charge me for the visit, and in fact, stayed to try to figure out what was wrong with the sound. He left, thinking he had fixed it, but it wasn't fixed after all. I had used the company in the past and was impressed with responsiveness and price. The initial visit was to remove a virus on my pc.

 + -1 moreDavid came out expecting to have to replace a board for a faulty capacitor. He first tested the power source which tested okay. After finding no faulty capacitors, he replaced the power source. Because he was not sure that would solve the problem, he refused to take any money that night. Instead, David returned two days later. Since the problem had not recurred, we assumed that he had fixed the problem. Before coming back, David had refigured his bill and decreased it from $80.33 to $58.91, omitting his normal trip charge since we were so close to him. He even spent some time looking over our system because of some other problems my wife had the day he came back. He did not charge us for that. David seemed to know what he was doing. He is not a flashy guy but straight-forward and fair.
Description of Work: David Dayton, the owner of NHome PC Repair, replaced the power source on our computer as a potential solution for frequent and unexpected powereing down.
