Dave offers two convenient pricing options for snow removal -- either you pay by the visit or you pay a fixed fee for the month. Dave has been great to work with and I would highly recommend him!

I hired this company in August 2008 to provide lawn care services for my home.... it was a horrible experience from the beginning.... grass clipping in the flower beds.... all my downspouts were crushed.... the mower "crashed" into my siding causing damage.... need to have new siding / paint.... the mower crashed into my new windows.... when I called to Dave to deal with the problems, I found out that he was in France until May 2009!!!! Shawn (Sean), his assistant during his absent, came out to my house to see the damage. He told that he knew that they were having problems with an employee that had just been recently let go and that things would get better.... they didn't!!!! More grass in the flower beds, etc. etc. etc. The company said that they would continue to provide services until the repair work was paid off.... but why would anyone allow to them to continue to let them cause additional damge week after week.... and the owner was in France!!!! I have tried to have all the damage fixed but given the numerous different trades that need to come out to fix the problems, it has been a long tough road that I have just about finished up a year later!!!! Neer use a company where the owner disappears for months at a time!!!! I have a new lawn care service that I found through Angie's List that is heads and shoulders above this compnay in ability and service!!!!

Things have changed dramatically for the better since I filed my first report on Mr Mow 4/19/2009 saying " At first we were thrilled with Mr Mow. The work was timely, friendly, well done, and a great price. But then the service seemed to drop off pretty dramatically. Even after the lawn was mowed, it didn't look like it had been. And then the edging and blowing off of our sidewalk was either not done or not done well..." Mr Mow is back to doing the work himself. And we are happy.

At first things went quite well. The snow removal was sometimes slow, but for the service fees charged it met my expectations. Last summer (2008) portions of the lawn were missed. This last winter (2008-09), service was really poor - often missed. I cleared snow myself several times. This summer we were billed for lawn mowing services not rendered, and asked to submit payment after we had paid. We are disappointed to say that we have discontinued service with Mr Mow Lawn Care.

Even after the lawn was mowed, it didn't look like it had been. And then the edging and blowing off of our sidewalk was either not done or not done well. We also hired them to do a Fall clean up, but they never showed up. It was very frustrating. It turns out that Mr Mow was out of town for an extended period and his team wasn't quite up to par. We will not be having Mr Mow come again this year.

He is does great work. I use him for all types of work around the home. He really likes his work. He makes sure are completely satisfied.

We are well satisfied with Mr. Mow. We live in the city and have a very small yard. Dave Powell gave us a fair price, did good quality work and never missed. He sends bills once a month and communicates promptly by email if a question arises. We have arranged for him to cut our grass again in 2009.

This did not go well. The first snowfall in late Nov., Mr Mow (Sean and his shoveling associate) came with a Jeep with a front plow. Driving the Jeep, Sean pushed the snow from my driveway onto the street and left it there. I called them to say, come back and move it. They said they'd be back much later. I removed the snow from the street myself. Each time they came in December, my driveway became narrower. Each time, I asked them to clear the driveway all the way to each side. They didn't. My neighbor offered to clear it with a snowblower and did that to the proper width, just before Christmas. Today after about 5 inches of snow, Sean came with his associate. I went outside and asked the associate to be sure to clear the snow all the way. He said, sure. I went out after they left and found that he hadn't cleared the remaining 2 feet on each side of the driveway. Then I noticed that Sean had pushed all the snow from my driveway to either side of my opposite neighbor's driveway and actually into the middle of their driveway entrance. In addition, by pushing the snow up to the side of my neighbor's driveway, they covered up the fire hydrant. I've just come back in from not only cleaning up what was sloppily done in my driveway, but clearing out my neighbors driveway entrance. The neighbors came home just as I finished and told me that Mr Mow had shoved the snow that way two previous times while I was out of town for the holidays, again covering up the hydrant. Very poor service. I won't hire Mr Mow again.

We purchase snow and lawn care from Mr Mow. Snow removal particularly is amazingly prompt, often done overnight so the walks and driveway are clear when we wake up.

I called and left messages two times in two weeks and never received a call back.

We live on a double lot on a corner. A lot of lawn and a lot of side walk edging to maintain. It seemed our weekends were spent tending to the lawn rather than enjoying the lake near by so I called Mr. Mow. For $38 per mow and edging, we gained the gift of time. We enjoyed our summer so much more knowing our lawn care was in the capable hands of Dave (Mr. Mow) and his crew. It looked great all summer long, even while we were on vacation. All I needed to do was pop a check in the mail at the end of the month. Great price, great service and really great guys.

I called for information and an estimate on snow removal and they never called me back.

While the mowing was done quite well, the edging and blowing off the sidewalks was not always done or done well. The most frustrating thing for me was that I could not get Dave to ever apply the weed control or fertilizer. I emailed him and called him. He always replied promptly and courteously, apologizing and promising to get the work done, but nothing happened. I have a new lawn that is full of weeds. I finally had to ask him to quit mowing. I have hired someone else.

It's a small piece and they come out once a week and works for me. So it's perfect. They are professional.

It went fine. There was one problem, but it was resolved immediately. They do exactly what I want and they keep it looking good. They are very professional. They come, they do their job, they do it well and then they leave. I feel that they do not need supervision.

They're great. They are very efficient, cooperative and good. We will continue to use them for more work in the future.

They have done a very good job, I was impressed with the job that they have done. I have nothing but good to say about them and their company.

I contacted Dave for a quote on gutter cleaning. He said he's come by and call back with an estimate. I called him back to check on the estimate a week later and he apologized for not getting back to me, but said he was waiting to see if another person was available to help him with the job later that week. He called back the next day with the quote - which was $105 less than the other quote I received! - and said they could come out the next day. I told him of the price difference in the quotes simply because I wanted to be sure he was getting a fair price for the job. Even knowing the difference in quotes he said his quote was fair and so he was hired for the job! Showed up when he said he would, did the work and we are very pleased with the whole experience. Will definitely use him again in the future!

Great work and always quick to respond when I email with questions. We actually used them last summer too, and decided to have them come back again since we liked them so much. This is a luxury for us since we don't care much for lawn work, and it is worth every penny.

Very reliable and pleasant to work with. Does a great job. Very good at keeping appointments. Very resonable.

He is reliable and reasonable. I also hired them to dig around my garage to remove water away. They also did landscape around the garage.

He responded with a very detailed text message and how to not over mow the lawn. He was also very responsive and I appreciate the advice he gave me.
