Excellent team of people came on two separate projects. Well coordinated, neat and fast.

Great! They work fast and were thorough removing the stumps and visible roots.

After finding Minnesota Tree Experts and emailing them, AJ called me to introduce himself and offer their assistance. He came out to provide an estimate and then worked with me to find the best time to come out - a time that worked well with my schedule and a time when they already planned to be in the area. He and his team came out, trimmed our trees and cleaned up. They were very professional and efficient, answered all the questions I had (and the questions my neighbor had about our tree hanging into their yard) and took the time to teach me about the importance of keeping trees healthy. Everything was very straight forward and there is a high likelihood we will hire Minnesota Tree Experts in the future.

When they came out it was wonderful but then it took them awhile to chip up the stump. It took a couple of weeks. I wasn't too happy about that. They were very good about getting the tree done. I would use them again but I wouldn't pay everything up front. There wasn't any additional charge for the stump grinding because it was in our original agreement. Even though it was a hassle for me to keep having to contact them I would use them again for tree removal. It took them a while to get out there and then there was a lot of the stump left over. They didn't tell me why and when I contacted them they said their equipment broke and they didn't have a replacement for it. That's not too good either. Eventually they did a good job. They were very efficient at taking the tree down.

They were prompt in responding, as well as getting the work done. Everything was done well and cleaned up nicely.

They were good. They had to come back for something. I would use them again in the future. They had a cherry picker because of my two story house. It allowed them to do a really good job.

Everything was great. They responded quickly and I had a bid within a few days of calling. Then the work was done that week. Maybe I got lucky timing wise because they were busy, but I was thrilled. In that all the work I needed to get done was extensive, they worked with me on the budget where I got some savings from getting a lot done at once, and also by removing some brush and smaller trunks myself (they removed probably 85% of everything). They showed up on time and were very efficient. They had the big trucks to remove the big trees. The guys were skilled and careful. One was climbing trees. One in a cherry picker. And two of the stumps were ground down. Overall they seems to have a good knowledge of tree care. They even cleaned up well. My yard looks great! I will definitely be using them again.

They did a perfect job, both in trimming and clean up. I worked with their foreman AJ and he was very good, and his estimate for a "deluxe" cut was performed exactly as he described. I will definitely recommend AJ and his company to other homeowners in our association and to all other Angie's List members.

I called them on Friday and I got the impression he was going to call me back. I never got a response. The next week I called them again and left a message. I still never heard back from them. I called another company who did the work.

The foreman Dan was just awesome. He responded the same day that I put in my inquiry for an estimate and he was able to come out the very next day and get the job done. A crew of four showed up to do the job. Another worker showed up right after they left and took away the tree and debris. It was obvious to me that their crew was very experienced. Another worker is scheduled for stump grinding tomorrow. They cleaned up the yard nicely when they were finished. I was very happy with their crew and foreman and will hire them again and recommend them to my neighbors.

It was in the $1000. It was lousy.I called them, and I was getting some different estimates from tree companies. I wanted pruning, because I did not want any trees cut down.The guy came out and he was prompt. I told him what I wanted, and he said that needs to be cut down. I said, no I don't want the apple tree cut down. I told him the trees I wanted trimmed, and he gave me and estimate and it was $1000. I thought that was kind of high. I said okay, well I have some other people coming out for estimates too. He said well the $1000 is only good today, because we are going to spring rates today and tomorrow it will be higher. Fifteen minutes later, he called me back and said, well we can do it for $750. I am thinking okay, you gave me an estimate of $1000 and fifteen minutes later you tell me $750. I got it done by someone for a lot less, and they did a good job. The estimate I got I thought was way over priced. Its not like they were cutting trees down, they were just cutting branches. I would never call them back. He wanted me to sign right there and then, and I said no. I don't do anything without getting a couple of estimates. I would never pay for an estimate. If they want you business they will do it for free.

They did a good job generally, all in one day. It was heartbreaking, but fascinating to watch. But they wouldn't have put one fence back up properly if I hadn't noticed there was a gap. They put my arbor back up crooked, which I didn't notice immediately. They did save one interesting part of the tree as requested. I also wanted a cross-section of the trunk to make a table out of but they wouldn't do it. They left me with (wouldn't remove) an immense pile of sawdust that I couldn't use up as mulch for years. But really the worst was that their bucket truck crushed one corner and cracked another corner of my neighbor's newer driveway and they've done nothing about it in spite of my requests to fix it. I have photos. I called right away and they said they'd come look at it. I left a couple of messages- no response. I called again recently and reached someone who said they'd be out to look at it. They actually have called my neighbor since then, but I don't see any signs of repair. It's been over 3 months.

I was very impressed with every aspect of Minnesota Tree Experts. I had not heard of this company prior to hiring them. I was looking for a commercial tree service and saw an advertisement for this company. The representative was A.J. and he was very easy to work with and gave me an appropriate estimate. I was set up to have the service done on Wednesday May 31, 2017 in the afternoon. A.J. and the rest of the crew was right on time with all their equipment and ready to go. I can't say enough about how professional and efficient the entire crew was. They took down several very large tree limbs, and did so very safely. One of the tree limbs did fall on my chain link fence and damaged the top pole. A.J. told me about this and the crew fixed the fence five minutes after it was damaged, and it was like new. When the crew was done after three hours, my lawn and backyard was very clean. I was extremely impressed that the crew blew off my pool deck area, put back furniture and made sure the area was clear of all debris. Very, Very happy with this company. I will definitely use them again.

They are ALWAYS on time for quotes and complete their work professionally with a good clean up afterwards. I've even had them come out to quote trimming when they've told us it could wait a few years so they will only charge for work that's needed.

They were punctual, professional and pleasant to work with. They explained everything well. I felt they were up front regarding the odds of the various treatments being effective.

Communication was great! Tree was taken down and yard cleaned up better than expected. Will definitely hire them again!

These folks were quick, professional, clean, and knowledgable. All the trees look well balanced and healthy after their trimming, a reflection of the knowledge the staff had. Would, and will, hire them in the future for other tree projects.

It went well. There were 2 crews on site starting around 9 am. They worked until 3 pm. They removed all the dead and dying trees, cleaned up the good mature trees (2 tree climbers), ground out stumps, and removed all the debris.

Very well. There was a bit of a misunderstanding about the price but the supervisor was able to work it out to my satisfaction. Otherwise they were fast and thorough and cleaned up well. I will call them again.

Response time was very quick. Crew came the next day to trim and grind stumps and haul away debris. We would recommend MN Tree Experts and use them again in the future.

Could not be happier - had a very tight time line due to lack of organization on my part. Jacob got back to me very quickly , got me an estimate and took down the three within four days. Also I am only giving a B rating on price because I did not get any other estimates. I was more than pleased with the price since they got the job done so quickly.
