It turned out fine.

When they put the central air just before the memorial day weekend in the attic, they did not have the p trap connected right and they did not have it attached to the fail safe switch. Over the weekend it ended up leaking all the way down to our basement. When we called we could not get a response. We had our insurance company send out a company to check out the damage. There were some wood floors and doors that had warped and other damage to walls and ceilings. The company came out and fixed the unit but blamed the electrician, even though the invoice they gave us said the p trap was not hooked up. Since then we have contacted the owner, but he has not returned our calls or the certified letter that we sent them. When they installed the vents, they did not seal them so the attic insulation was blowing out of the vents. We have never gotten an apology or anything from the owner.

Tom arrived on time for an estimate, reviewed the options for improving heat to kitchen and flow throughout our house, and gave us a list of 5 items to choose from. We went with 4. Matt did the work and did a super job. He was timely, there was no mess, and he did a very neat job in tight conditions! Most importantly, the house is now much more comfortable. We would definitely use this company again.

We originally intended to go with a different vendor we had worked with before, but Midland's bid was too good to ignore, and we, so far, are glad we had them do the work. Their professionalism score was downgraded because the workers only did a fair job of cleaning up, used a couple of my tools without replacing them (I didn't mind the use, but it would have been nice if they had asked), and they left abruptly without telling us they were completely finished.

THINGS STARTED OFF VERY GOOD WITH THIS COMPANY. THE CITY CAME OUT TO INSPECT IT AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WASN'T CONNECTED PROPERLY (AGAINST CODE). I CALLED THEM BACK TO TELL THEM THAT IT DIDN'T PASS INSPECTION AND THAT IT WASN'T INSTALLED LIKE I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE. WHEN THEY CAME BACK THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE NEW SHEET METAL THAT WAS NEEDED. THEY MADE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO COME OUT WITH THE NEW SHEET METAL, THE WORK LOOKED GOOD TO ME AND I ASKED HIM IF HE CHECKED IT TO MAKE SURE IT WORKED AND HE SAID HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING THAT WOULD AFFECT THE UNIT. I TURNED THE A/C ON AFTER ABOUT A WEEK AND GOT A TERRIBLE SMELL. I TURNED IT OFF RIGHT AWAY. THEY CAME BACK AND TURNED IT ON AND SAID HE COULDN'T FIND ANY LEAKS. HE CALLED AND TALKED TO HIS BOSS AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO AND I NEEDED TO TALK TO TOM (HIS BOSS). I TALKED TO TOM WHO YELLED AT ME WHEN I TOLD THAT THE SMELL SMELLED LIKE COOLANT AND ASKED ME WHEN I BECAME AN AIR CONDITIONING EXPERT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

WE URGENTLY NEEDED DUCT WORK ENTERING OUR HARDWOOD FLOORS, REPAIRED BEFORE THE FLOORS WERE FINISHED. MIDLAND WAS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT WOULD REPAIR DUCTS. VERY QUICK AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

SCOTT WAS VERY HELPFUL IN GETTING THE PART AND REPAIRING OUR FURNANCE ON A COLD DAY. HE WAS ALSO VERY ACCOMMODATING TO MY QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW THE FURNACE WORKED.

SALESPERSON WAS INEXPERIENCED AND POORLY TRAINED. OWNER WAS RUDE AND ACCUSATORY WHEN WE TRIED TO CLARIFY BILL. SERVICE PERFORMED AND INSTALLATION WERE EXCELLENT. RECEPTIONIST (PAM) WAS WONDERFUL TO DEAL WITH THROUGHOUT.

THIS WAS A GREAT JOB. I WOULD HAVE LIKED A BIT MORE INFORMATION ON THE SYSTEM AS THEY WERE INSTALLING IT, BUT OVERALL THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

THEY WERENT THE CHEAPEST BUT WELL WORTH THE COST. I CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH. VERY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. SUB CONTRACTORS WERE EXCELLENT. THE BUILDING INSPECTORS WERE ALL IMPRESSED.

THE COMPANY REP (MIKE PETERSON)DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF EXPLAINING THING AND SHOWED A LOT OF PATIENCE WHEN I DID NOT UNDERSTAND SOMETHING AND HAD TO ASK REPEATED QUESTIONS. HE RETURNED PHONE CALLS AND TOOK CARE OF A COUPLE OF UNFORESEEN PROBLEMS.

DID CHECK UP AND SOME OTHER THINGS, ETC.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD!
