Mid-State Seamless Gutters

After some initial confusion on my part Mike clarified my questions. Much appreciated!

Mid State Gutters did a great job for a great price. They were professional, prompt, did the job in the time we needed. Mike and Zach were very helpful setting up the service, and Caleb and Jordan did a great job installing. I would definitely recommend them.

Everything went great. I was given a free estimate and recommendation (downspout to the side of the home..). I decided to go with Mid State and three weeks later was given a date for the crew to install gutters. They also made a follow up call to verify if I was satisfied with the work before sending me an invoice.

Zach called after consulting with others in the company, reported that they could install leaf guards on our existing gutters, but it wouldn't solve our problem. Gave me an oral estimate followed up with email, but never attempted a hard sell. Explained, given the roof design, his gutter troops suggested repositioning or replacing the gutters in addition to covering them...but he did not recommend doing the work at this time (snow on the roof). I felt that I was dealing with a professional tradesman whom I could trust. Although we did not contract any work, I will definitely call Mid State when we decide to go ahead.

Everything turned out well, and we were happy with the service. They arrived on time and properly equipped, they stuck to their quoted price, and they did a good job.

My house has some very funny corners and difficult to solve for spots. The solution delivered was creative and excellently executed. I felt comfortable with the communications with them, and knew they understood the problem at hand. The crew came out and delivered exactly what was promised, with one small exception. In this case, the owner was out immediately and corrected the item with no questions asked. The cleanup was good, and I'm fully satisfied with the project. Well done.

Mid-State installed our gutters over a year ago on a new house. This year with new landscaping the downspouts needed adjusting. Mike was willing to swing by to adjust the downspout lengths. In addition, they added a diverter to one downspout for a rain barrel. They did a fantastic job on color matching the paint on the diverter to the color of the downspouts. Mid-State Seamless Gutters take care of their customers.

Everything went great. Mike came out to provide the estimate and explain the gutters he recommended. I decided to got with Mid State, and a few weeks later recieved a call that they would be out the following day to install (Mike had told me that they were booked a couple weeks out). Installation and clean up took about 3 hours. With my old gutters, water would leak into my basement with every storm/downpour. Looking forward to the new gutters and piece of mind....and love that there is now a leaf guard system installed! I also love the warranty that comes with the gutters.

At the end of July we called for an estimate on the installation of new Seamless gutters. We received a call before the arrival of the company owner who showed us the products and gave us an estimate. We accepted the estimate and were scheduled for an installation date about 4 weeks later. On August 26, we received a call to give us the estimated time of the installer's arrival as well as his name. When he arrived he introduced himself and the crew went to work installing the new gutters, gutter covers, and downspouts. There was a minor concern with the placement of one downspout but the team knew exactly how to remedy the situation. The crew was very professional, fast, and did a very nice job. A day or two later we received a heavy rain and all the gutters and downspouts worked well. We are very pleased with the product and service provided by Mid State Seamless Gutters.

I selected Mid-State from 3 competing contractors. The entire experience with Mid-State has been outstanding. Mike did the site review and quoting, and answered all my questions in a professional friendly manner. He made good suggestions regarding my concerns about downspout placement and lawn service challenges. Kent handled the scheduling with Mis-State and worked with me to ensure my vacation was accommodated. Kent is extremely courteous and has a great sense of humor. The installation crew went about the task with professionalism and work diligently. Before the left they inspected the work and cleaned up the yard and drive - great job! All in all, an outstanding company to work with, that delivers quality for a fair price - what more could anyone ask for? Thanks guys!

The install was a little difficult to get setup, but overall not bad. They performed the work within the timeline I required so no real complaints there. The gutters, soffit, and fascia look very nice, but the gutter guards I was sold are all but worthless on the front of the house. The Gutter Dome, which I was told was the best product they offered, creates a very convenient way for the water to flow from the roof, straight down the outside of the gutter, and into the basement. Unless you can keep it swept off before and during a storm it is going to cause problems. I understand that no product is going to be perfect, but I shouldn't be expected to climb on my roof to sweep off the buds dropped by our trees before every storm. It kind of defeats the purpose. One other complaint I had, which I had just let go until now due to the relative value I felt I received from the company, was the level of cleanup they did after the install. I had the work done late last summer and spent a good amount of time the rest of the summer cleaning up small pieces of soffit and fascia from my yard. Fortunately I found most of it before my dogs' feet did, but it was still a hassle. All things considered, I still would have left a decent review for the company except for one thing, and that is communication after I had water in my basement this spring/early summer. I contacted A.M. Burney Exteriors, Inc. when i started taking on water. Alan was very responsive and asked me to contact Mid-State as they were the company that actually performed the work. I attempted to contact Mid-State but received no answer so I left a message. I received a call back from them a few days later and was told that someone would stop out to look at the gutters. After receiving no word I called back twice and to this point have had no further communication.

While the price for the service was high, the work was excellent and we are very happy. Part of the job included installing drain tile along with pop-ups. Great job. All of the works were courteous. Clean up on the job site was excellent. All correspondence was quickly returned. Excellent service!

A fiasco from day one. Company agreed to allow me to remove gutters to save on cost of gutters which I liked. The rep told me he would call prior to arriving and would give me plenty of time to remove gutters. The guy called the day before to say they would be there the next day. I told him I had not removed the gutters yet because of all the rain we had been having. Irregardless he said they would be out the next day. I was out pulling down gutters until 9:30 at night getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. And guess what? The installer didn't show the next day. No phone call. No contact whatsoever. I finally called him a day later. He apologized and said they would be out the next day. So it was about 3 days after the original install date. The installer did an OK job. Not really happy with the way they looked, Called the rep to voice my displeasure and he said they usually don't stop back out to research complaints. Said he would try to stop out. Rep called and said he didn't see a problem. Great. So they sent me a bill. The only problem is they didn't give me the discount for removing my gutters. Called my rep and told him. Rep said they would send out another bill. Received another bill about a week later. This one was correct. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from a bill collector wondering why I hadn't paid the bill. Not a pleasant individual to say the least. When I told him I had sent the payment the previous day and he should get it today, he said, "OK, if I don't see the payment by today I will be calling you back." Didn't bother to explain the billing issue because he didn't seem to be the understanding type. Not certain how these guys ended up with good grades on Angie's List. Would install the gutters myself before I would call them again.

Mid-State adding and replacing gutters to a corner at the front of my house where several roof lines meet. The existing gutters and downspouts were too small to accommodate the large volumes of water that comes off this section of roof. Alan, a general contractor and friend of the owner, came out to give me an estimate. He recommended replacing the existing 5? gutter and 2 x 3? downspouts with 6? gutter and 3 x 4? downspouts; which, he said, can accommodate twice the water volume as the smaller size. Following his advice, I went with the larger size gutter/downspout. Alan and installation crew were very professional and pleasant to work with. When the crew arrived, they went over the work plans with me and suggested adding another splash guard, to which I agreed. The new gutters look great; the color matches my house perfectly. I?d recommend Mid-State Seamless Gutters to anyone looking to add new or replace old gutters to their home.

The installers were scheduling about two weeks out. They showed up on the date they said they would and were able to finish the removal and installation all in one day. The work was done well, there are no leaks, and the gutters look great from the street. We've had tons of rain since they were installed and they work perfectly.

It went very well. The workers were very personable and we were very pleased with the results. They cleaned up when they were done and made sure we were satisfied.

Purchased big deal, received an initial quote from Mid-State. Bid included additional work I did not request. Tried to communicate and get an updated bid but communication fell apart. I never got an updated bid, so I moved on to another provider. No issues with the service.

The end results are great. The fascia person, Galen Polt and his partner Bobbie solved an area in the rear of our house that was looked at by many gutter and fascia people without coming up with a solution. They were determined to solve the problem and did just that. Record June 2014 rains resulted in no leaks or problems. Mike Braun's gutter person moved the drain spout that also meant no problems during our recent record rain. We are so pleased with their work and professional approach.

Upon close inspection damage done to a couple shingles and to be repaired whole row above would have to be replaced also. Bought another Angie's list deal and torn shingles got glued down and brackets removed to prevent further damage. Company has agreed to reimburse us just hope we don't regret not having rows replaced.

From the first call throughout the entire contact Mike and his crew Mid-State Seamless gutters were amazing! Responsive, informative and prompt for appointments. Mike showed us a video on his laptop that compared his gutter domes with other types ofr cutter covers. Very inormative. We did not feel like he was "over selling", just upfront and honest about his product. The crew that cleaned the gutter and installed the domes were professional, quick and CLEANED up after themselves-going so far as to sweep the deck! We could not be more pleased!!!

I was really happy with my experience. These guys take the time to listen and come up with a solution you actually want. Yes, it's just gutters - but there are options. Mid-State will talk through the options, give you fair pricing, and complete the job with top-notch materials and high-quality installation. Highly recommended. My wife and I got quotes from about a half-dozen providers. It's immediately clear that about half the guys out there are people you don't want to work with. They wrote the quote, handed it to my wife, and ran off without giving me a reason to call them back and offer up $2000 or so. Mid-state was different. The 1980's-era home I bought had gutters on a portion of the house - but they needed to go. I also had concerns about where the existing gutters were directing the water. Over the course of 2 months, Mid-state made 3 visits to my home to answer questions and look at things. (My next house will have a simple roofline). I changed my mind a few times on what I wanted to do (gutter size / rip off frost board). While I'm sure Mid-State would have preferred I just signed the original quote - they were gracious in working with me to reach a final plan I was happy with - even when it meant additional trips. I wasn't around for install but my wife said the crew was polite and professional. I was kind of blown away by the end result. The mitered corners these guys do look fantastic. They give the installation a very clean look that makes the front of my house pop a bit. I wasn't expecting to think the gutters made the house look better - but they do. On pricing - these guys are middle of the pack for the people we got quotes from. We spent about $2400 with Mid-State. Our cheapest quote was just under $2k and the highest was $3300. I know we would not have been happy with the materials quality from the cheapest guys. I don't think home improvement is a category to decide only on price - so I don't have a problem with that. They tell me I could hang on these gutters if I wanted to. Not sure I'm going to take them up on that - but it's nice to know it's an option if life throws some lemons my way and I need to beat a hasty retreat. Anyways - if you need gutters - put Mid-State on your list.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. We found Mid-State via Angie's List to begin with, and had them and 2 other gutter contractors out for a visit and quote. The options being offered by Mid-State seemed superior to the competitors and the price was very fair, especially considering the nicer looking gutter design that we chose to go with. Mike was helpful from the very beginning, never pushing anything that we didn't want or need and even tried to save us money when/where possible. On the flip side, he did recommend the most thorough gutter system/design/layout, but that was the right thing to do given the roof we have, as it was the best way to gutter our home. So while another contractor came in with a lower quote to start with, when we asked him to match the same layout/design of Mid-State, his price quickly escalated to the point where it was an easy decision to choose Mid-State - seeing as how they recommended the right layout from the beginning (and weren't trying to "save us money" by ultimately doing an inferior job). The work was done sooner than expected, a nice perk given the rather cold and wet start to 2014 that we've had, and it all looks good - and thankfully is working well too. The follow-up call to check-in and to let us know that the invoice was being sent was also a nice touch. When we called back in response to that message to ask about one of the downspouts possibly needing to be longer since everything around the home was still so muddy without sod yet (and water from the downspout was running back toward the foundation), they quickly stopped back out within a few days to add a longer downspout. Again... very impressed by Mike and the work that Mid-State did for us. With one of us being a full-time Realtor for nearly 13 years, we're probably pickier than many customers who they work with, so we just wanted to add that note so you know that one of us sees a lot of gutters and contractors out there, and these guy really impressed. We'd highly recommend that you give Mid-State a call before deciding on a gutter contractor. Good luck and stay dry!

Mid State Seamless Gutters was great. They were on time and were absolutely on budget. They got it done very quickly. I am not sure about the price. We didn't shop around we went with them. They were the only estimate we got.
