Description of Work: We originally hired them for a move in Sept but had to cancel at the last minute. The move was then completed in late November and they honored our coupon even though they did not have to. They also had a 3 man crew rather than 2 because of other work that day and again treated us fairly only charging for the 2 man crew originally asked for. I will use Matt's again when we sell our home and do our big move.

Description of Work: I was referred to Matt's Moving from friends that had used them several times, so I think I was the victim of a number of things going wrong that resulted in awful service. | |I received an estimate of $450 or so for a three-man team. Two showed up, late. The owner became the 3rd man for 15 minutes. They took great care to lay plastic in my old house to move everything out. But they did not bother to lay plastic in my brand-new house. They took forever even though we had the majority of our home packed up and in boxes in the garage. One guy was sunburned so he didn't want to wear the safety straps and ended up dropping the treadmill and taking a gouge out of the wall. So much for a perfect, newly constructed home! They didn't return my phone calls to have the wall fixed. The two man team also proceeded to argue with each other and were unprofessional. They complained about each other to me if one of them was out of the room. The bill ended up being much higher than I was quoted. That was the icing on the cake. The owner apologized and I get the sense that he is genuinely trying to run an good business. But his crew did not deliver at all and I will never recommend or use them again.

Description of Work: Loved using Matts's Moving. When we bought our house they moved us out of our rental and into our new house in about 2.5 hours. I loved not having to rent a truck or movers. There team of 3 guys did a great job with great attitudes. We tell everyone about them that asks. Will definitely use again.

Description of Work: The movers did a good job with moving my things, I was very pleased in that regard. The move was a short distance 1.5 blocks from start to destination. The estimate I received and the actual costs were quite different. I was quoted based on 3 movers, was sent 4 movers and charged a higher price. I was unhappy with the customer service, and how when the movers were leaving the premises, I was told that the owner didn't know I had a piano to move, which was clearly stated when I made the initial phone call. I was charged more for this as well, even though the costs for piano moving are the same on the website. The end cost was approximately $300 more than I had expected or budgeted. Also, I did not receive an invoice for services when the movers left my property, I received it 2 weeks later via email so I was unsure about how much I would actually be charged for a significant amount of time.

Description of Work: I hired Matt's Moving to load a POD for storage and a later move. I had some issues with PODS and had to reschedule the service. They were great in accommodating me and when the POD showed up without moving blankets, Matt's agreed to rent me whatever I needed. The guys who did the work were friendly and professional. The only reason I gave them a B instead of an A is because I think they could have done a bit better at packing the POD. We'll see when it's unloaded... Again, they really took the stress out of what PODS left me with. I look forward to working with them in the future!

Description of Work: It took about 4 hours to move stuff from my one-bedroom apartment and a nearby storage unit into my new house on the other side of town. They were careful and thorough. I was a little annoyed at first it didn't go faster, but they were extremely precise, clean and careful, and I think it was worth it.

Description of Work: They moved 2 large pieces of furniture locally. They did a very professional job of packing and moving the furniture without damaging either location or the furniture. The movers were very cooperative and easy to deal with. Great job!

Description of Work: Matts moved us from a 4 bedroom home in St. Paul to a 4 bedroom home in Stillwater. They provided us with 6 movers and two trucks. We did our own packing, but Matts helped with taking apart and reassembling bed frames. The move went very smooth and the crew was friendly, efficient, and professional.

Description of Work: Moved furniture for remodeling project. Provided boxes. Went excellent. Very professional, positive and serving attitudes by all staff. I will use them again to move back into my remodeled home.
