MARS STONE & TILE

We had already purchased the tile and called to see if we could get an estimate on such a small job. They were there in a matter of days to do the estimate and a few days later were able to complete the job - all in time for Thanksgiving, so a busy time of year. We were very impressed with the service and quality.

Shawn does great work and is great to work with. The bathroom looks great and I'm really happy with it. I had gotten several estimates and Sean's was the lowest, which sometimes can mean lower quality work, but not in this case. I think he keeps his prices competitive partly because I participated in designing the bathroom. I picked out and purchased the sink, toilet, medicine cabinet, light fixtures, paint, and towel bars. I picked out the tile and figured out the design in the shower, then Sean went to the store to purchase to get the right amount. Sean really goes above and beyond and is very personable and a good communicator. He even came back twice to address small issues of mine several months after he finished, at no extra charge. One issue was some tape residue on the mirror that I couldn't get off, and the other was that the shower head was leaking a little. He took out the valve, cleaned it out, and reinstalled it, and now it doesn't leak. I would highly recommend working with Sean. He was clean and courteous too!

A designer quoted me $12,000 to do the same work Shawn did for $4,600 and I think Shawn's ideas were better. He came out within one day & showed up on time. Looked professional & was very polite and knowledgeable. He gave me some ideas, recommended some showrooms to see some nice displays and tile selection. He was very patient and didn't pressure us. When we were ready, he scheduled us to start in 3 days. They were friendly on the job, worked hard and got the job done on time. I was impressed by how clean they were. They used drop cloths everywhere they had to walk through the house, cleaned up and organized their tools every night before they left. I've never had a good experience with a contractor until I used Mars Stone and Tile.

I called the company to discuss repairing damage to our marble bathroom floor. I explained the issue, and he was very honest, as opposed to other companies I had contacted who were quoting me $200 to $400. He said he thought it was possibly something we could do ourselves and referred me to an expert at the store where we bought our tile. I talked with the representative at the that store and he offered to loan us a product, at no cost, which he thought would take care of the damage. It did! I would definitely contact this company for our next tile installation project as I was impressed with the honesty and helpfulness that Shawn displayed.

Shawn did a great job tiling the bathroom floor in my previous home and my current home. He also did a great job putting in a new tub surround. He is very affordable and I highly recommend his services.
